Sawyer E Monroe: The night before, the conversation puttered off the more Wendi undressed because...well,..naked Wendi, enough said. Having her back again made it so so tempting to stay at Alecs for a nibble, but after a day indulging in playing with the furbabies, she had to admit, she was ready to put on something pretty and go visit her favorite bartender. Red lips, red dress, and nannycam on the phone she was content. Before they'd get inside, she figured she'd just throw out the musings that had been on her mind well...since Sunday. Turning slightly toward him in the car, watching him for a moment before speaking. " The conversation last night..I had a point to it, sort of got away from me once we were all naked Um..but basically just throwing it out there...curious.." A touch of tongue to the cupid's bow of her upper lip before finishing "Does your opinion of me change too greatly if I were to tell you that I killed someone..not recently, not..not as a vampire. Just, you know, plain ol' human..thing. They weren’t good people. Im ..well I wasn't exactly stellar, but they were a lot worse..." Ugh, that sounded like a shit rationalization and so she just shut up. –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec looked over at her, that lopsided smile in place. "I told you about the girl I helped, that my... team, helped?" He glanced back at the road, before continuing. "What do you think happened to the men her father put in our path? That was when I killed my first man. No, he wasn't a nice man. No, I wasn't a vampire then." He looked back at her. "Some people need to be made dead."
Sawyer E Monroe: The smile was a relief, and a little one of her own returned. "I suppose it just seems more noble when you go about killing people rather than what I did. It was..colder, less personal. I suppose I was worried you;d see me differently. " Half a laugh and she shook her head "I over think a lot. It just felt weird not telling you now. " –d
Alec R Sutton: "Oh, trust me, getting emotional about killing someone is a good way to get dead. You do it and get it done, and if you want to cry in your beer, do it afterward, not before, and sure as hell not during. Now, I wouldn't kill someone... deliberately... who didn't deserve it. Which is where Victoria and I differ and yeah we got sidetracked away from that topic last night but like I said then. There's a difference between doing what's necessary, for survival, for justice if you will, and sure... revenge. But Victoria is a sociopath. She does what she does because she likes it and she does it knowing it's wrong, but doesn't care. That is the line that cannot be crossed." He glanced back at her. "That is the deal breaker."
Sawyer E Monroe: She listened to him, quietly watching him as he spoke, afforded that luxury since she wasn't driving. "No... I know what I did wasn’t moral. It was a debt paid, nothing more. I don't enjoy the idea of going out and just ending a life, it wasn't a warm and fuzzy thought. I didn't cry, I think that's why I worried, it just... didn't revolt me as much as I thought it should. Death was needed, they were shit, I handled it. It was...clinical" A shake of blonde head, looking out the windshield again. "I like the idea of helping better than the idea of hurting. But I did do that for a while. Hurt people in some Robinhood ideal of justice, not caring that the people I hurt felt it because I decided they deserved it. I've been changing that, as I go along. I just felt you needed to know who I was. " –d
Alec R Sutton: "Everyone handles death, killing, differently. Some puke. Some are rock steady. Others seem to handle it just fine, and can continue to seem fine, but inside it eats them up. Does it make you immoral that killing an asshole who was nothing more than a complete waste of space doesn't affect you? No. Just means that you dealt with what you had to do the best way you could."
Sawyer E Monroe: "I took a shower...with a bottle of vodka" A bit of a smirk and she looked over at him, lifting a hand, curl of fingers gently brushing along his jawline. "Now just try not to think I'm overly emotional about the furbabies when my phone is nothing but pictures of them. They can't help it they;re perfect, I just document the perfection. " Grinning a bit, the tension eased inside of her that he didn't seem bothered by her divulging of information. –d
Alec R Sutton: Smiling with the touch of her fingers, he pulled into the lot and roamed it a bit to find a place to park where he could still see his car from inside the pool hall. Killing the engine, he pulled the keys, then leaned over to kiss her. "I will never judge you for your innumerable fur kid pics." Smirking, he slid out of the car, dropping the keys into his pocket as he glanced around the lot. Stepping back, he pushed the lock down and swung the door shut, before he moved to the nose of the car, another look given around the lot.
Sawyer E Monroe: One of those grins Vic would roll her eyes at, couldn't be helped as he leaned in, she met him half way for that kiss a bit of laughter following. A little sigh, the enjoyment of watching him move never bored her. Shaking her head a bit in amusement of her own thoughts before she was opening the door and sliding out. Button pushed and door hip bumped closed as she moved to meet him at the front of the car. "Something seem off?" She eyed him curiously, hand moving to his waist, curling slightly into the fabric of that gray shirt. –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec studied the lot for a moment longer, before he shook his head. "Nothing I can pin point." he slid his arm around her and with one last glance around, he moved across the lot to the bar. It was pretty easy to see what was going on there, fishbowl that the pool hall was, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary there, either. Just the usual mid to end of week crowd looking for a beer and a game of pool, maybe a bite to eat.
Sawyer E Monroe: She moved along with him at ease, standard Louboutin heels, black with red sole offset that killer red dress with ease. While normally she'd look for carjackers, or pissed off mobsters, she was peeking about hoping that djinn wasn't fucking with reality. Their last conversation hadn't gone smoothly. No hint of him around, however and she pushed the thought aside to head into the building with him. "Maybe it's nothing. But um...if you see that djinn about, give me a heads up. And he might not be your biggest fan at the moment, sooo..just keep an eye out on that one" –d
Alec R Sutton: "He tries to fuck with us and I'll do to him what I promised Ki I'd do to him." Alec smiled and pulled the door open, following her inside and yes, he was watching her ass as she stepped in before him. Heading straight for the bar, he took up a lean there, a motion to Jorge for a drink for the two of them before he looked back at Sawyer. "You look incredibly sexy tonight, by the way."
Sawyer E Monroe: "Mmm, now there is some violence I can get on board with. Though I'm a bit biased, you're annoyed face turns me on" Grinning as she slinked past him inside and toward the bar. Her phone laid to the surface, half leaning, partially sitting on the stool. His remark had her smile growing and looking to him. A loop of finger in the belt loop of his jeans. "Why thank you, I was hoping you'd notice. " A wink to Jorge as he acknowledged them, setting about making their drinks. –d
Alec R Sutton: "Any man would have to be dead not to notice. Even gay men notice." He smiled and then gave Jorge a nod as their drinks were set before them. Lifting his, he took a sip and then glanced around once more.
Sawyer E Monroe: She burst into laughter with his commentary "Dear, the only reason the gay men eye ball me is because Im standing next to you" Sorry, it was just probably true! "Thank you. Jorge" Settling on the stool, legs crossing comfortably, though angled to face him as she took up her drink. "Luckily for me, I found the cure to turn them away" A mini toast to that before she took a sip of her drink. -d*
Alec R Sutton: "Or your shoes..." he nodded as he looked down. "That's something all men can appreciate. A pair of kitten heels. Then again, we like how they raise your ass, the gay guy may be wondering if they come in his size." he shrugged, lifted his glass to her toast and then took a drink.
Sawyer E Monroe: She gave a playful flex and wiggle of that sexy-shoed foot. "Oh trust me, we wear them specifically to taunt you all. Well, partially at least. Though for me, the fun part of dressing up to entice you is that you treat me the same if I'm in this or if I'm in cut off shorts and boots I've had for four years" A little grin played on her lips before she took a drink. "Besides, you get this little look because you know it's for you and the arrogant smirk of yours is one of my favorites" –d
Alec R Sutton: Chuckling, he shrugged. "Whether it's for me or not, I'd likely have that arrogant look, simply because, well, I'm me." He laughed at that, and then his eyes raked over her slowly. "But I guarantee there isn't a man in this room whose head didn't turn when you walked in."
Sawyer E Monroe: She enjoyed the way he watched her, unapologetically. Sipping the drink, before setting it aside to the bar before she leaned in and whispered in playful tease. "Perhaps I should take more notice of them, of course that means I'd have to take my attention off of you. Which is a very off putting notion" The humor lingered in her tongue, causing just a slight curl of her lips in a grin. –d
Alec R Sutton: "You could." He looked around to see which of the men in the room were watching, before looking back at her. "Think of it as a game. Approach one, chat him up, lead him off to a dark corner, then bite, feed, erase." He lifted his glass and took a sip. "Watch for security cameras. Not all of them will be functional and you won't always be able to tell which ones are and which aren't so it's better to presume that all do and plan accordingly." He gave her that lazy smile once again.
Sawyer E Monroe: "I really should get to work on that security scramble program " Unsexy as it was, yes, that is exactly where her mind went, not to the men he was talking about she go lure, but the gadgets that would be supremely useful. Pulling her thoughts out of the haze of programming, she let blue eyes roam over the selection of men. Was it odd that it just now struck her that she'd only fed from women? She hadn't really thought too much about it. A little frown touched her brow and she forced herself to hide the expression, looking over to Jorge "Another round please" Asking preemptively, since she was taking up her glass to finish it off. "Perhaps later." –d
Alec R Sutton: "They don't do it for you, hm?" Alec regarded her, one brow rising, as he contemplated that. His own glass was lifted and those dotted about the place were studied. "Are you equating biting with sex?" He looked back over at her, another sip taken.
Sawyer E Monroe: She rolled her eyes a bit and a sigh surfaced. "Not sex, it's..." She stopped and just turned to look at him. "To get that close, there's a lot of smells going on. And I like the way you smell...obviously. But I don't really like getting that close and it's too distracting, and not in the fun way. Pre-bite situation, it was a bit different. I tested the waters, I had some fun until it went all horribly wrong and a shower and a few shots of tequila it was all good. Maybe I will again, maybe not. But right now... at this particular moment... the smell of them not being you triggers more of an angry emotion than a hungry one. So, sorry, it's not sex, it's girlified emotions linked to sensory receptors. Basic chemistry as a mouse pressing a button to get cheese. Those buttons don’t give me cheese, they give me a headache" –d
Alec R Sutton: "Okay, so, we'll try a different approach." He sipped his bourbon and gave another look around the room, just waiting for some dude to leave. Sooner or later, one would and at that point, Alec would show her the stalk, attack method, rather than the seduce and bite.
Sawyer E Monroe: Well at least he didn't get exasperated with her for being a ridiculous vampire. "Thank you." A nod to Jorge for bringing her another drink, exchanging it with the empty glass. "As far as sex goes, I hope it's not a problem that I don't really have an interest in other men in my little...bubble of fun. " She was taking note of the security from this vantage point as they talked at least. Practice and whatnot. –d
Alec R Sutton: "I'm good with it, so long as you still have an interest in women." He chuckled, a waggle of his brows given as he sipped his bourbon once more. "So, we can start setting up for the party tomorrow, if you don't mind coming over, and that way we can have it all laid out the way we want it, by party time."
Sawyer E Monroe: "I do" She responded with a quiet laugh "I didn't vote for Wendi based on her experience." The laughter bloomed a bit more with the waggle of his brows. "And that sounds like a great plan. And I never mind coming over. I prefer being at your place" After a sip , she slid off the stool to stand, invading his space a bit, whispering in a playful taunt "Your bed is always more fun - go figure" A slight tug on his shirt beforehand splayed at his abs. "Puppy and I will be there with bells on. Party planning sounds like fun" –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec slid his arm around her waist, pulling her in close. "She does have amazing eyes." Catlike, they were. "We'll have to decide what kind of food we want too." Chuckling at her comment, he nodded. "Only bells? That sounds doable."
Sawyer E Monroe: Slinking against him with that pull, contented to be right there, she smiled. "mmmhm, and hair, and skin.." Her hands settled at his hips, nipping his chin lightly. "Probably upscale on the traditional would be fun. We can check out who caters things like sliders and bar-b-que, get a few themed shooters and I can wow you with my booze skills with... ready for it?.. Jell-O shots" A playful grin though his remark about the bells had her laughing. "Not sure how the car ride will go bare ass naked trying to keep bells on my nipples. But I'm always up for an adventure" –d
Alec R Sutton: "Could get a bit nippily." He smirked and then checked his phone, before looking back at Sawyer. "I don't know about you, but I'm ready to head home."
