May 7th
Zenko: Zenko had made certain that Andy had opened the club and then did what Andy did best... disappeared. The man was sitting, waiting for the girl to arrive, with his fingers brushing over the keypad on his phone. He knew it would not take long for the pick up to take place, it was always just the headache of getting the girl knocked out and not fighting and screaming that was the pain in the ass. –d
Agent Warner: Warner was in his spot, there was a crew of construction guys doing late night work on the roads, and it was going to make getting in and out of the club a lot less easy. In fact, knowing the destination would end up being the port, there was more than one crew working late tonight on roadways in the city. It was going to cut down the ways anyone could get from the Kitten, down to the port. Which was precisely what needed to happen. –d
Alec R Sutton: Everything was in place, with the construction that had been going on, the one avenue of escape was where Alec and Warner were waiting. A wire would have been too risky, but Callie had the necklace, so even if they took her phone and turned off the GPS, they'd still be able to track her.
A Spirited Scion: Callie squared everything away on the home front between church with her family and then Gage in the afternoon. She filled him in on everything she could think of at the time, gave him names, locations and phone numbers then after their lunch and such she headed on home, showered again, changed and left for Seattle. Arriving in time so that the club wasn't open yet as Zenko instructed. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't nervous but the nerve of steel facade was well in place by the time she was arriving at the club. She just had to remember to act unsuspecting and as natural as possible. The necklace was in place, as it'd been for the past two nights as well. Her truck had a tracking device on it, just in case it moved and she hadn't called Gage with an update. Her phone had one too but she knew it wouldn't be kept on her person. She parked the truck and got out, looking around the parking lot to find Alec and Warner. The top she had on was the one for her shows tonight, but she had jeans and her own boots on to cover the lower half and in the bag she was carrying was the shoes and the rest of the outfit. Calm as could be, she walked on over to the club, knocking on the door since it was early then tried the handle to see if it was open. (d)
A Spirited Scion:
Zenko: Early. Yes, the knock sounded and Zenko would move to the door to open it and let Callie in. "Ah. Calla. Good. Good. Early." He gave her a grin and then motioned her inside. A glance behind her once he had her in, and then he closed the door sealing them both inside. Zenko moved and beckoned her to follow him into the main area of the club. The place looked so much different when there were strobe lights, and half naked women grinding to the poles. "You have desire to be better. Good." He nodded, and then he went behind the bar and would pour them both a drink. Not tequila, as the bartender had informed him was not her drink of choice, but something better, and the slip of the mickey to the drink wasn't even noticeable. He'd been doing this for far too long. "Come. Drink with me. Then we will discuss how to be better at job here." –d
Agent Warner: Warner and Alec were in position, and as soon as anyone left that club with Callie in their possession, they'd know, and would put the plan into effect to waylay and grab the asshole. Hopefully, Zenko's word was solid the night before and it would be Anatoli himself that came for the snatch and grab. "Your witch on the ready to track if they strip her of anything?" –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec nodded, a glance around given before he looked back at Warner. "Tamsin's at the ready. All we need to do is catch the fucker. Get as much information as we can out of him and then your boys can have him." Alec really wished he had a drink. Or a vein to tap. Or a heart to rip out. Now. He was worried. Not just for Cam, but for Callie as well. She was sticking her neck out here for them, and he knew it.
A Spirited Scion: "Hi Mr. Zenko." She followed him inside just as casual as can be. "Thank you for inviting me in early, I'm really looking forward to hearing more." She set her things down on a table as the man went behind the bar, looking around a moment then finally moving off to the bar when invited. Drink accepted of course but it went untouched for now. "You said you might be able to help with these things I can do?" (d)
Zenko: Zenko noticed that the drink wasn't touched, and there was a brief show of irritation. However, when she asked about her abilities. "Da. I have friend who is big time good with such things." Zenko shifted around and sent the pre-tapped out message. Ready. Awake. But alone. Then he turned around and motioned to her drink as he lifted his own. "Come, come. Drink with me. We discuss how you get rich on talents.." –d
Agent Warner: "You're going to actually turn him over? And here I was thinking I'd be helping you cover up a man's death." Did Warner sound a little sad? Maybe. He was all for getting ahold of the guy. Even looking forward to the whole machine shop game of tag with rusty weapons thing. –d
Alec R Sutton: "That depends. If he pisses me off, there may not be enough left to turn over." Looking back at Warner, he shrugged. "We'll see how it goes." At this point, Alec wasn't much on the caring side of whether or not the dude was seen to legally.
A Spirited Scion: "Rich on talents? Really?" This seemingly excited her and she lifted her glass as if to sip but didn't, talked instead. "You really think I could get rich?" (d)
Anatoli: The car had not been far away, anticipating the message. So when it came through, the driver pulled into traffic, and though there was a detour, he made it easily enough and pulled the SUV into the parking lot of the Kitten. He killed the engine and then stepped out of the vehicle, with keys put into his pocket. The man was tall, muscular, and he had head full of thick black hair. He pounded on the door of the club and waited for Zenko to open it and let him in.
Zenko: Zenko heard her and gave a nod. "Yes. Rich." He glanced at the drink, and then hearing the pounding on the door he gave a slow grin. "The man to make you rich comes now.." And he moved for the door, opened it, and greeted the man before letting him inside. "Dobro pozhalovat' Anatolij. Ona nahoditsja vnutri."
Anatoli: "Horoshij Zen'ko." He moved inside, and he would look to find where the girl was at the bar. A wide grin, and his shoulders rolled back and he tipped his head to crack his neck first on the left, then the right sides. He tossed a look to Zenko. "Ona vygljadit, kak vampir."
Zenko: Zenko grinned and nodded. "Not as good, but.. will make money." The men spoke, talking about how the woman was waiting inside, and the noted similarities between Callie and Cam. Zenko moved to make the introductions, and Anatoli stayed blocking the path Callie might have wanted to try to use to go anywhere that wasn't right at the bar. –d
Agent Warner: "They just said a car pulled up to the bar. An SUV." Warner spoke to Alec as he checked his phone. "Looks like we're in business." –d
A Spirited Scion: After Zenko moved away she looked at the drink, then lifted it to smell. Nothing there but she didn't trust him. She set the glass down in a different spot so maybe he'd think she had some of it. When the other man came into view she smiled just a touch, listening to them speak in a language she didn't understand. This was it wasn't it? She half expected to be met by more men but the insult would stay in her head. "Hello Sir." When Zenko said her name she'd move from her stool, hand stretched out to shake his if he'd have that. Had to know if this guy was human or not. Damn he's not little. (d)
Anatoli: "Hallo. You have not had your drink." Anatoli tsked. Then he moved to close the distance from where he was to where she was near the bar. "That is a shame." He gave a short shake of his head, and then looked toward Zenko and reached into his pocket to toss the man his keys. "Open it." The man would know what he meant, and while the other man hurried off to do his bidding, Anatoli advanced on Callie, and with no less than the clench of a machine worthy tightness around her arm, he'd catch hold of her. And where he would have had an easier time, he pulled her to him and whispered. "You should have had drink." The injection was quick. Right to the side of her neck, and he'd hold her until she slumped. Struggling would do not good, the man was built like a solid wall, and he would keep her held tight. –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec nodded at the information, fighting the urge to pull his phone and check on Cam again. It would only be the 9,027th time. Alec paced between the two cars, or rather his car and Warner's truck that were blocking the only point of egress from the bar, staged there, just so, to look like an accident. "Your boys aren't going to get curious as to when we disappear with this asshole?"
A Spirited Scion: Brows furrowed when the man mentioned the drink. Ah, so that was the set up. She watched the key toss but by then she was back peddling away from Anatoli. These guys are not into small talk! When he grabbed her arm she tried to rip it out of his grasp but the dude's a freakin' tank. Her eyes clenched when she felt the needle at her neck, but all she knows how to do is fight, so struggle against the drug and his hold was exactly what she did until she couldn't do that anymore. Finally though, her body went limp in his arms and she was down for the count completely. (d)
Anatoli: The man was a tank, and he was also a creepy mother fucker. When she went slack, he leaned in and took an inhaling breath along her neck. She smelled good. She'd make a good amount on the market. He shifted the way she was, picked her up in his arms, and then moved toward the back door of the club and outside to the SUV that Zenko had opened the backend of for him. Once he laid Callie down, he stripped her of anything personal. That was cell phone, necklace, anything that marked her or was personal. Those he shoved at Zenko to get rid of, or do whatever it was the man did with things like that, and Anatoli closed up the tail end of the SUV. He got into the driver's side, started it up, and with traffic blocked, headed the only way he had accessible to him. The port was calling and the shipment was going to be leaving soon. Or that was the idea.
Agent Warner: "He took one of outs, Alec. New or not, she's one of us, they won't ask a single question when he vanishes with us." Warner assured him, and then got the update quickly. "He's on the move. Grey SUV." –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec nodded, glanced down the road toward the club, and then looked back at Warner, giving him a shove, mild for him, but then he was yelling and gesturing to his car like Warner had committed the gravest sin in having defiled it with his truck. He could hear the SUV drawing closer, but didn't look, he was focusing on Warner and looking mad as hell.
A Spirited Scion: Anticipating that things would be taken off of her person she only had the phone, a wallet with some money and her license in it and some cash and that necklace from Alec. (d)
Agent Warner: Where he could hear the SUV, Warner was facing the direction where he'd be able to see when the grey SUV pulled into the line of sight and as it rolled closer to where they were engaged in the heated argument. "Buddy! That piece of shit ain't my problem. You fucking hit my truck...” Warner started looking like he was going to deck Alec, and then at the last minute just grabbed him for a tussle.
Anatoli: Anatoli had been watching the rearview mirror, ensuring that the dose had been enough to keep her down. When he glanced forward, he was already pulling up on the scene of the two men arguing, and now apparently scrapping over the fender bender. He did not have the time for this, and with the SUV in park, he got out, door left open, and started waving his arms. "MEN! MEN! Get out of road! Move cars, and get out of way!!" –d
A Spirited Scion: She'd only been unconscious for a matter of minutes at this point in time. No worries for Anatoli, she was out like a light still. (d)
Alec R Sutton: Alec was grappling with Warner one moment, and taking Anatoli down to the pavement in the next. One had gripped the front of his clothes, holding him down, as the other fist came down for his face. He had every intention of knocking the man out cold.
Anatoli: Anatoli was trying to get the idiot Americans to stop fighting, and then he was on the ground. A stream of Russian epithet hit the air, and when he was able to look up, he gave Alec a solid scowl. "Coward." He spat at him, and then tried to shove Alec off of him.
Agent Warner: Agents had moved in on the Club once Anatoli had left. Everything that was Callie's had been recovered, and they were 'talking' to Zenko at the time. A medic unit rolled up, once they could get Anatoli restrained, and the med unit would see to Callie, ensuring that she was awakened, and checking her vitals as well as making sure there were no other health issues. And as they did that, her phone, and other items were brought to her by the Agent that would be ensuring she was taken back to her truck, and that she made it back home safely. –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec would bet Callie would far rather go with them to torture the fucker. Well, if she was feeling up to it. Chuckling, at the Russian, Alec was making damned certain he was trussed up and then Anatoli was deposited into the trunk of Alec's car. Alec moved to the driver's side, and looked to Warner.
Agent Warner: Warner would help Alec make sure the man was trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey, and then he spoke with the Agents who arrived. After that was done, and his truck was moved, to a safe point, he would jump into the Camaro's passenger's side and clap his hands. "Let's get to the tool shop." A smirk on his lips.
Anatoli: Anatoli did not go easy, but once he was knocked out cold, the men just had to deal with his dead weight. And that was a damn sure lot of dead weight for them to carry, though not so bad for Alec. –d
A Spirited Scion: Once she was coherent and able to walk and think and all that, yes, she'd actually want to go with Alec and Warner if that was still an option. Medical peeps thanked but waved off. She was fine just a bit cobwebby. (d)
Alec R Sutton: Alec looked over at Callie and gave her a smile, then flipped the seat forward so she could climb in. "How are you feeling?" When she was close enough, he tipped her chin up so he could look her over, needing that reassurance that she was in fact, fine.
A Spirited Scion: Thankful though that they gave her things back, that way she could call Gage in a bit to let him know that she was safe. "Little loopy. It'll wear off soon enough." Her head tilted with Alec's inspection. "What? You weren't nervous were you?" Face removed from his grasp, she got in the car and waited. (d)
Alec R Sutton: Chuckling, he slid into the car once she was in. "I'll deny it, if anyone asks. Can't have people thinking I'm actually a decent guy."
Anatoli: He was out cold. No movement for the time being, just knocked out and maybe dreaming of all the bad things he'd done in his life. Not likely.
Agent Warner: Warner was in the passenger seat, and gave a glance toward Callie when she climbed into
the car. "Glad to see you're alright." He said; then waited for the inevitable ride to the machine shop before cranky pants came back around. –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec started the car up and rolled out, the Feds, he was certain, would take care of Warner's truck. Anatoli's car would be towed, and hopefully the feds would be a little loose on the paperwork as to whose car it was and why it was sitting in impound. The drive to the shop wasn't all that long, and soon Alec was backing up to the bay door, and then sliding out to unlock the shop. Once the bay door was rolled up, he backed the car in, and then shut her down.
A Spirited Scion: "Right. Can't have that now." Alec? A decent person? Nah. She smiled at Warner. "Thank you. Are you a decent person too?" (d)
Agent Warner: "Decent? Nope. I'm a dick." He gave her a wink and then once they got to the shop, he'd jump out and head around to help with the whole opening doors and finding the right place to torture the asshole. His people did indeed take care of the other odds and ends on scene that needed to be handled.
Anatoli: He was slowly starting to become aware, slowly waking from the knockout punch that Alec had delivered. –d
A Spirited Scion: Callie got out of the car after them, following along but staying out of the way while they worked over Anatoli. Waiting to have the rest of her mind and footing. With that in mind, she just found a seat somewhere. Most definitely close enough to listen in on them. (d)
Alec R Sutton: Alec hauled him to the same chair that Zenko had enjoyed the previous evening and yes, the tow chain was used to tie him down to it, padlock and all. Once Anatoli was all snugged in, Alec slapped the man across the face to help him wake up some. He was just a nice guy that way.
Anatoli: Anatoli was that continued dead weight, until he was chained up and then slapped a few times. His head rolled and then there was a low laugh. "Zhalkie amerikantsev." He sneered, before he lifted his chin and stared at Alec just long enough before spitting at him. "What do you want?" He asked in English broken by the thick Russian accent he had. –d
Alec R Sutton: "What I want is what you took from me. And you're going to give it to me. Or more to the point, you're going to give her to me." Alec smiled. The man could spit all he wanted. "You know, there are four primary means of physical torture." He started counting them off on his fingers, "Blunt, sharp, hot, cold. I think we could get creative here...." he held his hands out and looked around as he took in the shop. "So many possibilities."
Anatoli: "Her?" Anatoli was listening to the man speak, and there was a sharp smirk that took over his features. "Dolzhny byt' bolee konkretnymi. Ja vzjal tak mnogo u nee." The tone alone would tell Alec he was being an utter dick, but then that was to be expected.
Agent Warner: "He said you have to be more specific. He's taken a lot of 'hers'." Warner watched the man's face as he translated his words.
Anatoli: Anatoli gave a hard laugh. "Ahh. Man who speaks my tongue. Shazhite emu, chto muzchiny ne povorachivajte protiv korolja."
Agent Warner: "He said to tell you that men do not turn against the King." Warner gave the other man a shake of his head. "Nepravil'nyj otvet." He looked back to Alec. "I told him that was the wrong answer." -d
Alec R Sutton: Alec moved to the bench, eyed the tools laying around and then picked up a cold chisel. Moving back to face Anatoli, he regarded him coldly. "Very. Wrong. Answer." And that chisel went into Anatoli's thigh, far enough to embed the tip into the chair he was bound to. Alec looked over at Warner, and then to Callie and back, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Now, does that constitute as blunt, or sharp..."
Anatoli: He was laughing, until the chisel went through his thigh, then the epithets in Russian came quickly, as did that hard growl of a pained sound. He did not squeal or scream like Zenko. The veins at his neck, and along his forehead showed as he snarled and cursed Alec. "Fucking. American.." He jerked against the chains that held him bound to the chair. "You ask for woman. I take so many.." He sneered at him. "Be specific, DA?! Yellow hair. Red hair.." –d
Agent Warner: "I'm going to say blunt... it was pretty old. Rusted even. Could rot his leg off if he's not careful." Warner added. –d
A Spirited Scion: Dark eyed gaze slid between the three of them without even a flinch as the chisel came into play. She'd not lift a finger to stop any of the pain the guy was going to have. "How many are at risk right now? Girls, I mean. How many does he have right now?"(d)
Alec R Sutton: Alec would wait until Callie's question was answered to 'get specific.' He stood there, aarms folded over his chest for a moment and then just to be a dick, he reached down and gave that cold chisel a slight twist.
Anatoli: "Tirty." The answer was given easily. "Tonight, you make Tirty-one." He smirked at Callie, even as he felt the throb of pain in his thigh. as Alec twisted it. Another string of epithets in Russian. –d
Alec R Sutton: "The vampire. Where is she?" He still had his hand on the handle of that chisel and things would get worse if the answers weren't well liked.
A Spirited Scion: "There's tons of time to torture him, days and weeks I'd imagine. Why not just use your hojo mojo on him to get the location of thirty women and revisit the removal of limbs later?"(d)
Agent Warner: Warner looked over at Callie and gave her a wink. "Now that you're safe, those women will be getting rescued right about now. Shipment was due out an hour ago, and my people were already poised to swoop in the minute the ship left the port."
Anatoli: Anatoli heard the man speak of the take down of the shipment and he grunted, and cursed him, until the hand on the chisel brought him back to look at Alec. "Ahhh..." And there was a slow, diabolical sneer. "Vy hotite vampira. Krasivoe suschestvo. Slishkom neudacha ona ne dlja vas. Korol' hotel ee dlja chastnyh auktsiona." He laughed when he spoke.
Agent Warner: "He said that the King wanted her for an auction...” He left out the added snipe about Alec not being able to have her. Not to spare the man the pain, but, well, really, the fact the dick was not being forthcoming wasn't going to spare him anything anyway. –d
Anatoli: "Ee kozha nastol'ko mjagkimi. Ee volosy, kak sheik."
Agent Warner: Warner wasn't going to translate that, but fuck it. The guy was asking for Alec to lose it. "He said her skin is so soft, and her hair is like silk...” –d
Alec R Sutton: "Hmmm." Alec looked between Warner and Callie. "What do you guys think should be next? Hot?" He nodded liking that idea but waited for the others to chime in.
Agent Warner: "Hot. Blisters kind of hot." Warner chimed in. There you go. –d
A Spirited Scion: "Sure. Go with hot." (d)
Alec R Sutton: Nodding, Alec moved through the shop, grabbing the acetylene torch and dragging it over. He cranked the valves on the tanks open and then grabbed the striker, the torch lifted and the hoses uncoiled enough to be effective. And then he opened the valves on the torch, letting the oxygen and acetylene flow, the striker used to ignite it. He hung the striker back on the dolly, and then adjusted the valves on the torch until the flame was a pinpoint blade of blue. "Let's play this little piggy, shall we?" He smiled, coldly, and then looked at Warner. "Can you get his shoes and socks off?"
Agent Warner: Warner watched Alec go off to grab the tools of torture next, and when he came back and was priming the torch, there was a look toward Anatoli. A warning given to the man in Russian, before he crouched to remove socks and shoes.
Anatoli: Anatoli heard the mention of hot, and then as the welding torch was brought over he looked at the man wielding it. Shoes and socks removed, and he fought Warner on the matter, before he gave a sharp snap of words toward Warner. "Vampir dlja auktsiona. Koroli auktsion. Chto ebat' Vy hotite?"
Agent Warner: Warner was smirking, and translated. "He said she's for auction. The King's auction, and then asked what the fuck you wanted.." –d
Alec R Sutton: "I want the girl. If he wants his toes, he'll give her to me." Alec couched down, one hand grabbing Anatoli's ankle, the other bringing that torch dangerous close to his foot. "Where is she?"
Agent Warner: Warner was looking to Alec, and then back to Anatoli. The man spoke English, but when being a complete dick, it seemed he preferred to do so in his native tongue. So, Warner started to translate Alec's words.
Anatoli: Anatoli tried to rest his foot from Alec's grip. "On javljaetsja idiotom. Gluhie idiot. Ja skazal, chto korol' imeet devushka." He snarled, and tried against to rest his foot back from Alec's hold. "Tol'ko korol' imeet devushka. Ja tol'ko dostavit'. Korol' auktsiona. Devushka prodaet dlja chastej. Za ubilstvo. Dlja nezavisimo." He sneered with a grin.
Agent Warner: "Yeah, dickhead here says you're not listening. He only delivers her. The King runs the auction. And.." Warner looked back at Anatoli. "Apparently the purpose of the auction is not always to keep them alive. They could sell her for parts. For the joy of killing...” Warner glanced back at Alec. "Fucking take off a few toes, this asshole is enjoying this shit." –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec had no issue with that, and despite Anatoli trying to wrest his foot from Alec's grasp, Alec was a hell of a lot stronger. Flame met flesh which immediately started to bubble and blister. Smelled kind of like barbeque.... with a side of toe jam.
Anatoli: And that was where Anatoli screamed. His head fell back, and the scream was a loud, elongated sound that ended with a gurgle, and a momentary loss of consciousness.
Agent Warner: "Now that, was oddly satisfying." Warner moved to grab Anatoli's head, and slapped the man until he came to. "Kak my mozhem poluchit' devushka?" How can we get the girl?
Anatoli: He came around, the pain sending him into a spattering fever of angry epithets again, until he heard the question. "Win auction." That was the answer he gave, and the only one he had for them. "Korol' postavljaet dlja pobeditelja."
Agent Warner: "He says the King delivers to the winner." Warner looked back to Alec with that news. –d
Alec R Sutton: Alec didn't even hit the oxygen. The torch was pulled back and he rose, turning the oxygen off before he turned off the acetylene. "Where do you ...." And with Warner's news, Alec's lips twisted upward. "I have an auction to win." He looked back at Anatoli. "How often does he check in, and when is he due to check in next?"
Agent Warner: Warner looked back between Anatoli and Alec.
Anatoli: "Kogda u menja est' novosti gruz dostavljaetsja bezopasnoj devochek. Chetyre dnja."
Agent Warner: Warner looked back at Anatoli, who was sweating profusely now. "He said when he received word the shipment of girls has been safely delivered. About four days’ time. Which means... that he won't have any chance to hear about the delay of the shipment until after the auction's over with." He looked at Alec, so that was good news for them. Then Warner asked Anatoli. "Kogda on postavit' na pobeditelja?" Warner translate dhis words for Alec and Callie. "I asked when the winner gets the delivery."
Anatoli: "Zavisit ot togo, gde eto pobeditel'. Esli mestnye na sledujusch ij den'. Inogda zhe noch'."
Agent Warner: "It depends on where the winner is. If they're local could be same night, or next day.” –d
Alec R Sutton: "And where are the items up for bid held?" Because face it, a web auction could be held from anyfucking where.
Anatoli: "Old buildings. Local. King is local for his business." He was breathing hard, and answered in his broken English, but able to be understood since the answers were so damned important. –d
Alec R Sutton: "What buildings?" Because at this point, if the dude stopped being useful, Alec was ready to snap his neck and be done with it.
Anatoli: "Old. Not used." He looked at Alec. "I do not go to buildings. You do not listen.” He snapped at him. His head was rolling sideways, and he was trying with little energy to get loose again from the chains. "I only know old buildings... I do not go." He exhaled, and then was looking at Alec like he was really dense. –d
Alec R Sutton: "We haven't tried cold yet...." Alec regarded the man and then once more gave that cold smile before heading back to the office and rummaging around a bit. Finally coming up with a can of canned air, he came back out. "You've seen this, right? Canned air. Used to dust your electronics. Did you know, that the propellant is really cold? And that if you hold the can upside down, like this..." Alec flipped the can over as he inserted the straw into the nozzle. "You can actually get more propellant than air. Kind of like using liquid nitrogen to freeze things." Alec leaned in and started regarding the man's face, more specifically his eyes. "I've always wondered what it would do to a human eye."
Agent Warner: Warner was trying not to crack the fuck up. Seriously, the next fucking movie or television show that came out they could use Alec as a damn consultant for this weird kind of shit.
Anatoli: Anatoli was not eager for that look Alec was giving him. "I tell you what I know. Fucking PUSSY! Unchain me. I kill you!" -d
Alec R Sutton: "I'd like to see you try, but the truth of the matter is..." Alec once more gave that smile. "I could have your heart ripped from your chest so fast that you could watch it stop beating." He tossed the can to Warner and to prove the point, he actually moved to unlock that padlock and started removing the chains. Let the man try. "You want to kill me, come on."
Agent Warner: "Alec.." Warner didn't like this, he didn't like the fact he was releasing the man and challenging him. Warner glanced to Callie, and then back to Alec. The can had been caught and put aside, but he was still not thrilled with Alec's new idea.
Anatoli: Anatoli gave a sneer when Alec started to remove the chains. And he was shoving the chains away as fast as Alec was unlocking them. Once he got them off and was able to find his feet, he smirked at Alec. "Let us see if you fight as good as vampire girl, Da?" He smirked. "She fought good. Hard." He grabbed his crotch. "Made me hard with all her struggle." He then looked around, the chisel still in his thigh was pulled out with a loud growl, and he had a weapon to use now, and he started for Alec. –d
Alec R Sutton: And Alec was stepping into him that chisel not even a concern, as one hand went for the front of the man's jacket to grasp hold of and the other drove in ripping cloth, piercing flesh, driving up under his ribs and into his chest cavity. His fingers wrapped around Anatoli's heart as he pulled the man in. "Did I forget to mention, that I'm the one that made the girl a vampire?" he gave that a moment to sink in, and then he ripped the man's heart out, holding him upright as he did in fact show it to him, and then he let Anatoli go. He looked over at Warner and gave a half shrug. "He pissed me off." He tossed the man's heart onto the floor near him, and then moved to the utility sink along the far wall. Cranking the water on, he started washing his hands. "We'll have to get the boss when he delivers Cam to me." He had to win the auction; there was no two ways about it.
Anatoli: Anatoli raised the chisel, and had driven it into his shoulder when Alec had him, and the sudden feel of his hand piercing through the wall of his chest took a moment to process in his already pain ravaged brain. Eyes widened at the fact he was a vampire too, but then he saw his heart, outside of his chest, and in Alec's hand, just before he slumped to the ground.
Agent Warner: "What a mess." That was all Warner said. "I kind of figured he pissed you off...a few times, actually. Surprised you showed the restraint you did to this point." Yeah, he was smirking. "Got a furnace we can burn him up in? Or no, doesn't that fuck up the carbon footprint or some shit?" –d
A Spirited Scion: "Well, that was the grossest thing I've seen all day." (d)
Alec R Sutton: He shut the water off and then pulled a shop towel to dry his hands on, as he headed back. His phone was pulled and he rolled through his contacts; then hit send. "Yes, I'd like to order a house special." He listened to the voice on the other end and then rattled off the address, before hitting end. "Someone will come and take care of it." Looking at Callie, he gave an apologetic smile. "Sorry." "I don't suppose you could.... I don't know... Pull this thing out of my shoulder?" He smiled at her, and gestured to the cold chisel Anatoli had stuck him with.
Agent Warner: Warner just shook his head as Alec made a call and then said someone was coming to take care of the body and the heart. "I don't even want to know." He was already chalking so much up to Alec's secret vampire shit, so this was just another one of those things. His phone went off, and he turned, as Callie was asked to pull the chisel from Alec's shoulder, and he answered the call. –d
A Spirited Scion: She pushed away from her seat, moving on over to Alec. Her sitting quietly and just watching had helped those cobwebs to be gone now. "Old buildings. Does Seattle have a district that isn't widely used? This king guy probably wants out of the way but fancy so he can show off his money and whatever power he thinks he has." Talking while pulling the chisel from Alec's shoulder, setting it aside. (d)
Alec R Sutton: Alec was about to respond when Callie pulled that chisel out and instead of saying what he'd started to, he groaned. "Oh, God...." Leaning forward, he gave himself over to the pain for a moment and then he was straightening up. It was already healing but it still hurt like a son of a bitch. "The place she's being kept is dark, dreary. Like a cell..." He started thinking. "I wonder if there are any old prisons around. Most places have them right... prisons, asylums, no longer in use..."
Agent Warner: Warner finished the call as Callie for the chisel out of Alec's shoulder. The mention of old buildings, and then Alec's mention of prisons, asylums and the like had him thinking. "There was, at one time, between 15-20 prison facilities in Washington alone." He was a Fed, they knew weird shit like that. 'When is the auction taking place tomorrow, Alec?" He asked, since Alec was the one with the countdown on the site, as well as the feed Warner was pretty sure he'd been watching steadily since he got it last night. –d
Alec R Sutton: "Eight." he resisted the urge to check the phone again. "Tomorrow is going to be the longest day ever." Alec moved to the car, dropped the trunk lid and then moved to open the bay door. "We can run down all the places that fit the criteria... and by we I mean Hannah..."
Agent Warner: Warner gave Alec a nod and then moved toward the car to let Callie in first, by pulling forward the seat, and then getting into the passenger side. "I'm already sending her the message now on what to look for, and to send me the information as soon as she gets it." He looked over toward Alec. "Have you even slept?" –d
Alec R Sutton: "Define sleep..." Alec slid behind the wheel and pulled the car out, and then got out to drop the bay door once more. Then he was sliding in behind the wheel once more. He glanced at Callie in the rear view and then rolled from the shop. "Your truck is still at the bar isn't it?"
Agent Warner: "It's that thing you do when you lay in a bed, or.. you know, coffin, or whatever, and close your eyes and rest. You know when she comes home, first thing she'll do is bitch you out for looking like you haven't slept.." He gave Alec a smirk. "Better clean up, and sleep some so you're ready to be the high stakes roller tomorrow night. Sweep the girl off her feet.. literally.. and, hey... how's that gonna work? Does this mean you can't ever tell her she's like... priceless to you? Because technically, you'll have set a price on her tomorrow night?" –d
A Spirited Scion: She got into the car when Warner let her, but just sat quietly, listening. "Truck is at the club, yes." (d)
Alec R Sutton: Alec headed to the club and as Warner yammered at him, Alec rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I'll sleep. And I would die for her. Definitely kill for her." Already had, obviously. "So whatever money I have to toss at this asshole to get her back is of no consequence."
Agent Warner: Warner gave a shake of his head. He didn't get the sentiment. Hence, douchebag. Dick. "Yeah." He shrugged and then glanced back to Callie, but he wasn't asking her. No more semi-sentimental talk tonight. –d
A Spirited Scion: She got Alec's meaning. All of it. She had people she'd kill and die for and had demonstrated just that before, but she wasn't adding in anything aside one thing. "Let me know if you need anything and if I can do it, I will." (d)
Alec R Sutton: "Thank you, Callie." He smiled at her. "And thank you for all that you've done. We couldn't have drawn him out without you." Alec slowed and made the turn into the lot of the bar, pulling up near Callie's truck.
A Spirited Scion: "No problem. Anytime. Though, I totally told Gage to kill you if anything happened to me." She grinned. Bit of a pat given to the back of the seat so Warner would let her out. "Seriously though, call me if you need anything and let me know when you have her." (d)
Alec R Sutton: "Totally will." Alec smiled at her, waiting for Warner to let Callie out. "Let us know when you get home." Because he'd worry until she was home, safe.
Agent Warner: Warner pushed the door open and moved the seat up so Callie could climb out and make her way to her truck. He would wait, because his truck wasn't at the club. Alec could drop him at the place where they'd intersected crazy dead heartless guy. –d
A Spirited Scion: She got out when Warner let her and from there was heading on home for the night. Alec would get a text later of her safe arrival (d)
