Tamsin
"There's that woman, the one you had mentioned before at Marie Laveau's place? I heard someone talking about her while we were in the Quarter yesterday doing Justen's hamburger Day crawl.." Tamsin shifted, and turned back to look toward Alec. "Why does she want to see me exactly?" She'd dressed fairly easily, considering yesterday's trek through the French Quarter, and the amount of hamburgers she'd helped Justen consume she'd been glad for the elastic waistband on the skirt she'd worn. Turning to glance up the stairs, knowing he'd be down soon from the shower, she looked back at Alec. "I guess if we all go, she can't zap me into a frog or anything, right?"
Alec
"She tries it, I'll snap her neck." Alec shrugged, as he refilled his glass, and then lifted it for a sip. "As for why she wants to see you? I think she's looking to ride the coattails of a Bennett witch. She knew we were here, she knew we knew you." Alec looked back at her, then settled on the arm of the couch. "Not sure just what she wants, but if we're to accomplish anything in this town, she would likely be the one to consult about who the movers and shakers are."
Cameron
Cam came in from the back patio, and shook her head slowly, fingers dragging through her hair as she looked between the two. "Serious discussion? Do I need bourbon for this?" She glanced to Alec, then back toward Tamsin, having caught the mention of a 'her' and being the right person to ask about movers and shakers. "Ahh, you're talking about Agnes." She gave a nod, and then moved to drop a peck to Alec's cheek before she glanced back at Tamsin. "She wanted us to make sure we let you know she'd done me my solid. So something about you, beautiful, has that woman wanting to rub elbows and rub them hard.." Cam grinned at Tamsin a moment, and then headed to grab a drink. Until pretty boy was ready, they weren't going anywhere just yet anyway. -d
Justen
Hey, never dis the rugged flannel look! And that was all he was wearing today. Well not all but he was foregoing the jacket since the temp had tipped the high end of the 80 degree mark. But the flannel kept the fact that he was carrying hidden. Coming down the stairs, his hair was still damp, but he was otherwise dressed and ready to go. His phone was in the pocket of his jeans, his shades hanging by the bow from the neckline of his t-shirt. "So what's the plan?" He rounded the doorway into the living room, and grinned at Tamsin, before looking back at Alec and Cam.
Tamsin
That flannel look had no complaints from Tamsin. She gave a quick grin toward him as he came around the doorway and joined the conversation. Looking back to Alec with those bright green eyes, she then glanced back to Justen. "We're going to go see a voodoo priestess. Then, maybe find trouble to get into.." She grinned, tossing back a few of the dark strands of her hair. "Feel like getting into trouble?"
Alec
Leaning in to the kiss to his cheek, Alec's hand brushed down Cam's back and then rested on her ass until Cam moved away again to grab a drink. He watched her as she moved and then looked over at Justen as he came in. "Drunken debauchery if we're lucky." Smirking, he looked back at Cam as he lifted his glass and knocked back the contents, his gaze moving over her before he gave that panty dropping smile.
Cameron
Cam felt the hand on her ass and she was grinning when she went to get that drink. Bourbon in hand she headed toward the others, and caught sight of the panty-dropping smile from Alec. A swallow of the bourbon, and she held out her glass to him. "We haven't even left the house yet. Keep that up and we won't.." She smirked, before tossing a look between Tamsin and Justen. "Alright. So we hit up Laveau's, and see what Agnes has to say, and then we hit the Dungeon for some dark and spooky debauchery. That way we're all satisfied, or..will be afterward." She grinned again and looked to Justen. "I like the flannel look. But you're the only one I think could pull it off and still look edible." Snap of her teeth, which she followed with a chuckle. -d
Justen
Justen grinned at Tam. "Always." And yes, he was going to start calling her trouble. Looking over at Cam, he chuckled. "I'll be sure to tell my brother that." He glanced between them, and then slipped his shades from his neckline. "I'm ready when you guys are." The one thing that was frickin' awesome about the Quarter, and Alec's house within it, was that pretty much everything they wanted was within walking distance.
Tamsin
The consensus was had, and so with Justen putting on his shades, Tamsin started for the door, knowing the others would be coming along as well. She grabbed her satchel, only because the book was in it, and if she was speaking with this woman, it might come in handy. Then again, she sighed, and put it back in its stashed place, before she hurried along back to the door to follow the leaders out and off toward Marie Laveau's shop, and the mysterious Agnes.
Alec
Probably a good idea to leave the book behind. Never knew who would try and snag it from her. If Agnes wanted to see it, she could ask. Alec slid his own shades on as he stepped out of the house and for the gate at the mouth of the breezeway. He wasn't as layered as justen was, just his usual jeans, and a dark button front shirt, the sleeves rolled midway up his forearms. He had his phone, his keys, his shades... he was good. Catching Cam's hand, he spun her around, arm draping over her shoulder, their linked hands resting over her heart.
Cameron
It was one of those days where everyone was grabbing their sunglasses, and Cam was no different. Dark eyes hidden behind the reflective surface of the Ray Bans, and she finished off the bourbon before she was headed out with the posse. Alec's grab and spin had her laughing, and that arm over the shoulder earned a squeeze of his hand by hers. "So. First dibs on scratching her eyes out if she tries anything funny. She did curse me with that damn super sensitive artwork, after all." -d
Justen
"Yeah, I missed that show and tell." Not that he as expecting to be flashed, but hey, they'd had their Party Gras. Beads and boobs and he'd missed a good portion of the boobs because he was distracted. Not that he was complaining. At all. The memory had him grinned and he looked at Tamsin as they stepped out after the pair, and waggled his brows at her.
Tamsin
"You missed it." She gave a nod, not that Tamsin had been looking for it at the Party Gras, but she'd seen it already before then. "I'm sure if you're nice, she'll show it to you..." Cam had no shame, the witch knew it, because she knew Alec had none either. Yin and Yang. She caught the waggle of Justen's brows, and felt the warmth brush along her cheeks. And just because she was behind the other two, she gave a good lick to her lips, maybe it was comical, but there was a point to it! Supposed to be sexy, but Tamsin wasn't exactly the queen of that, but damned if she didn't put in a lot of effort. "I won't fight you for that!" She added to Cam's comment.
Alec
"I don't think she's stupid. Power hungry, maybe, but not stupid." Didn't mean he wouldn't be on his toes. A power hungry witch, steeped neck deep in voodoo, could be problematic. "I should get the number to the local cleaner..." And there he stopped, a glance given Justen and then he shrugged, looking back at Cam. "Damned dry clean only. Pain in the ass..."
Cameron
Cam was glancing back to Tamsin, and caught that lick of her lips to Justen. She turned her head around quickly, and almost lost it. Pretty little witch didn't have to try, she worked sexy just fine being herself. A look up at Alec, and there was a brow raised when he started talking about the local cleaner. But he caught himself, and she chuckled, as she kissed the back of his hand and they all turned along the street in the direction of the place where Cam had gone topless and left scar less. Something to be said for that mojo in New Orleans. -d
Justen
Justen not only caught that move but watched it intently and yeah, his mind went right back to that moment when she'd done that same thing and so very much more. "Keep it up..." He waggled his finger at her, then smirked. Missing the conversation of the pair in front of them, he watched the scenery they passed, moved through, really. That was the way of New Orleans. It was a living entity.
Tamsin
Tamsin missed Cam laughing at her little tease, but she heard Justen and there was a quick twitch of her lips. "I will." She reached and caught his finger as it waggled at her, and then swept his pinky with her own. "I solemnly swear that I will and am up to no good..." She laughed. Yes, a Harry Potter joke. Her current posse might not get it, but it was witch humor. She had to go there at least once on the trip.
Alec
Oh, got it, was snickering, and heading for St Anne along Bourbon, where the old house stood on the corner. "That should be the motto of my life." He'd have to have a t-shirt made with that. The thought had him cracking up again.
Agnes
They weren't even at the old house yet, and there was a crackling of something in the air. Agnes stepped from the front of the house and was watching as they all approached. "Ohhh..yesss..." She rubbed her hands together slowly, and focused beyond Alec and Cameron and toward the one behind them. " 'Da witch comin'.." She said it more to herself, than anyone in particular, or so it might seem.
Cameron
Cam caught the reference, and gave a laugh. "It already is, babe." She offered with a chuckle, and then felt a shiver slide up along her spine and set those Ray Ban shielded dark eyes right onto the corner where the house was, and the woman standing as a hard to really see figure out in front. "Damn. She's already outside.." -d
Justen
The atmosphere shifted and Justen looked toward the house where Cam was looking, although he couldn't make anyone specific out yet. Fingers twitched and for the first time since he'd been there, he wished he'd raided Baby's trunk before they left. "You sure this is a good idea?" He looked from the pair in front of them to Tamsin and back, one hand slipping beneath the flannel to adjust the butt of that Colt. No, he wasn't twitchy and he wasn't going to gank her here in the street, but he was looking for the reassurance of the presence. No, it wouldn't kill her, not without the right ammo, but it would sure as hell slow her down.
Tamsin
Tamsin could feel it, the moment they got to that point where the woman stepped out from the house and onto the street. She wasn't alone, though. The whispers were there, louder, stronger, and as she heard Justen asking if he thought this was a good idea, there was a drag of her hand along his side, and she curled her fingers in tight to his shirt. Green eyes went toward the house, and then, she gave a small shiver before she started forward again. Moving without stopping, and that meant in front of Cam and Alec, on her path toward the house, and the woman waiting outside.
Alec
Alec was about to comment on whether or not it was a good idea when Tam Tam left the point moot. He looked at Cam, then Justen and then shrugged and followed. He did unwind himself from Cam, just in case they needed to move suddenly.
Cameron
Cam was turning to glance toward Tamsin, and Justen, and then turned back as the witch went right on ahead of them. A look to Alec, and then to Justen, before they were following behind Tamsin.
Agnes
As the younger witch approached, Agnes grinned, and she lowered her head and gave a bow toward Tamsin. "I been waitin' for 'da chance ta meetcha, Bennett witch.." Her words were spoken where the others would hear, no hiding anything. "Come. Come inside, and we talk, sha? G'won have a lot ta talk 'boud..." She chuckled, and then moved to head into the house, her hand sliding back the beaded curtain in the back to allow the other four to enter where they would not be disturbed.
Cameron
Cam wasn't so sure she liked this turn of events, but Alec and she were ready, and she was pretty sure Justen wasn't reaching behind him to adjust his underwear, so he was packing some kind of weapon. Good. Bullets might help at least slow shit down. -d
Justen
Justen stepped inside after Tamsin, a glance given around the place, looking for hiding places, doors from which someone could come up on them, and last he was taking stock of the items on display. Typical new age crap, by and large, but nothing that wasn't of use. He as sure the heavy hitter items were not in the display cases up front. His gaze went to the woman, Agnes, last. His study of her was long and intense, her words didn't really put his trigger finger at ease, though. He kept his hands loose at his sides, in case he had to draw, the urge to pick things up and look at them closer curbed.
Tamsin
The move into the back room had her drawing back slightly, and where Justen stepped, Tamsin moved to stand nearer to him. The whispers were quiet now, nothing but the hint of the incense burned previously in the room. Tamsin turned and gave a small lean into Justen, and then glanced back to the woman, Agnes. "Why did you want to see me?" The question was laid out there, no reason to beat around the bush, or any of the other odds and ends of higher value mojo that the backroom of the house held.
Alec
Alec followed the pair and although the small room was now rather crowded, he had wasn't about to leave Tam Tam in there alone... not to make light of Justen's presence, but the man was human. He glanced between the witches, a brush of his hand given Cam's as he took up a stance near a book case.
Agnes
Agnes watched Tamsin move toward the man in the flannel shirt, and then she gave him a singular glance. "'Dat won' be needed here." She offered to him, and lifted her hand to make a gun motion with her thumb and forefinger. "I ain' g'won hurt her, or anna of ya." She offered, and then motion for them to find themselves a seat around the table that was surprisingly clear of the usual ritual accoutrements, and instead held only a few items. "As to ya question, chile.." She looked toward Tamsin. "Ya doan know 'bout ya blood, do ya? Ya Mama didn' wan' ya ta learn, an' ya Gram, she only taugh' ya 'da silly, simply t'ings, sha? An' ya Daddy, well, he didn't know 'nough eidda." She shook her head a tsked softly. "Come now, chile. I tell ya 'boud ya blood, an'..." She looked along toward the other three. "I tell ya why 'dis City ready for 'da likes of 'dis one ta take what been waitin' f'her all 'dese years.." She grinned slowly and waited for them all to sit at the table.
ameron
Cam looked to Alec, her hand giving his a pat, before she moved for a chair at the table, letting Alec and Justen pinch Tamsin in between them, and she'd take the spot closer to Agnes. She'd wanted first dibs on the woman anyway. -d
Justen
"No offense, but I'd rather be safe than sorry." He looked at Tamsin as the woman continued to speak, and then he moved to the table to settle with the others. The fact that the woman knew things, knew he was carrying, didn't ease his mind one bit. If anything, it made those fingers twitch all the more. Glancing to the others, he gave a nod of appreciation as to how they'd pinned Tamsin in between himself and Alec without even saying a word.
Tamsin
The woman talking had Tamsin's attention, but she was not anymore settled by the fact she knew so much about her Grams, or about her father and mother. A frown touched across her lips, and then she moved to the table. She didn't even notice that the men had pinned her between them, and Cam had taken the front seat. She was still trying to wrap her head around the fact this woman knew things... things she wouldn't have been able to just know. "What do you mean, you'll tell me about my blood? And.. that the city wants me to take.. from it?" Brows knit, and she slid a hand to Justen's thigh, just resting it there to keep herself from shaking with nervous energy. Though, that nervousness was making itself known anyway in the way the beads at the doorway were shaking, and candles were slowly lowering their flicker.
Alec
Alec had no issue with pinning Tam Tam between them, and as Cam took the position closest the voo doo woman, he glanced at her, a slight lift of brow given before he looked back at the woman. He didn't interject, Tamsin had her own questions that she needed answers to and he'd get his chance, should any point come to mind that needed to be made.
Cameron
A cop, or rather Fed now, a trouble maker, and a hunter. Definitely going to have a protective posse among them for the witch. Cam turned and gave a smile to Alec, before she turned back to watch Agnes.
Agnes
The older woman shifted herself to a stool near the table, and then looked between them all. "I answer 'dem questions.." She offered, and then winked toward Alec. "An' yours too, when 'da time come." Then, she clapped her hands together, and laid them flat on the table as she focused her eyes on Tamsin. "Ya family. 'Dat Bennett blood run deep, and long, Tamsin. It go back t'da Salem days, an' even longer back still..." She spoke, her voice a low echo in the small room. "Tell me wa'cha know 'boud transferrin'...'da energies...when a witch die, chile." She spoke to Tamsin, and then leaned back a bit. "A nod of her head toward the side as if she was listening to another conversation too. Then she looked back toward the others. "Ya wan' see 'boud runnin' 'dis town. Well, ya only gotta take out one man t'get wa'cha wan'." She winked in Alec's direction. See? Answers were coming in their own time. "But ya g'won need 'dis one at her full power." She nodded, and motioned to Tamsin. -d
Justen
"Wait, what?" Justen looked from Agnes, to Tamsin and then over to Alec and Cam, not liking the direction the conversation was going already, but not for the reasons anticipated. "That's what this is about?" His gaze left the pair to look at Tamsin and get her reaction to all this.
Tamsin
Tamsin was startled about the woman's words, especially when it came to the ones she directed at Alec. A blink of those green eyes, and then she was looking back at Agnes, only to stop and look to Justen. She gave him a look that told him pretty easily she didn't know about the running the town idea, but then she looked back to Agnes. "About transferring energy?" She gave a purse of her lips, her fingers on Justen's leg were still, but she'd given a squeeze when he turned looking to Cam and Alec. And still, she answered the woman. "It flows between family members. Most witches are women, my father was the only male born into it in three generations." She exhaled, and then looked at Agnes. "The engery of a witch transfers to the next in their blood line. My Grams went to my father, and when he passed.. his came to me.." She frowned. "It only moves through family lines.. blood relatives.."
Alec
Alec didn't like that the woman was outing information he hadn't even given Tam Tam yet, on plans they weren't even decided on making let alone implementing, and his gaze narrowed on the woman. He felt the look from Tamsin, but again, he held his tongue. He wasn't going to interrupt her flow of information from the woman and if he started asking questions, he was likely to get pissed which would end with someone's neck getting snapped. And this woman had information that Tam Tam needed. Neck snapping would have to wait.
Agnes
Agnes caught the tension, and the fact that the witch didn't seem in on the information. She leaned and looked toward Alec. "My bad.." She said with a small laugh, before she looked over toward Tamsin. "Sha. 'Dat how mos' work, but you..." She hissed, and then leaned back with her hands rubbing together. "Oh, you.. Bennett witches.. you 'da diff'rence, all us udda witches wan' be.." She cackled softly, and then looked back to Tamsin. "Ya hear 'dem whispers? See 'dem figgers movin' 'roun' ya? 'Dey need ya. 'Dey need ya t'hep 'dem find 'dere res'.." She leaned a bit more, and then slid her hand forward along the table. " 'Da Bennett blood 'da only one 'dat can take on 'da en'gies of udda witches. Udda bloodlines..." She said the words and let the weight of that fall silent around the table.
Cameron
Cam gave a low inner curse as the damned woman spoke up, she knew Alec had wanted to get Tamsin alone to talk about it all, but hadn't had a chance yet. She glanced toward Alec, and leaned back to brush her hand against his leg. Then, eyes on the woman, while keeping Tamsin in her periphery. -d
Justen
"Why can't they find their rest on their own? What the hell are they hanging around for? Because if it's rest they need, I can sure as hell help them along." Whatever it was the woman wanted Tamsin to do, sounded a little too much like spirit possession, granted she hadn't fully explained as of yet, but he seemed to be the only one of Tamsin's friends that didn't have an agenda. He glanced between them all, and Tamsin's hand on his leg was given a gentle squeeze, before he looked back to Agnes.
Tamsin
Tamsin had not learned nearly enough about her family's history, or their abilities. Her mother had refused to allow magic in their home at all, and only after they split up, was her father able to try and help school her in the art of their heritage, but by then, Grams was gone. Tamsin looked at the woman, Agnes, and there was a small furrow of her brows. "What do you mean? Why me?" She gave a small frown. She understood that the essence of a witch, their energy was like their soul, and that passing it along to another family member was like handing down a personal heirloom in a sense. It was all their power handed down to the next in their bloodline. "But... that's..." She wanted to say crazy, but she wouldn't, because she had heard the whispers. She had seen the figures moving. "They didn't have family? No one to pass on their energy to?" She had to wrap her head about it all.
Alec
"Oh, by all means. Go ahead and out plans I haven't made yet, let alone decided whether or not to act on." Sarcasm. He had it. But then he was quiet again, a glance given Tamsin as she asked her questions. Blood lines. A lot of this crap centered around blood lines and Tam Tam's confusion wasn't unwarranted. He looked back at Agnes. "And what will it do to Tamsin, if these witches find their rest with her? What does that do to the balance of things? You witches are all about balance, right?"
Agnes
So many questions, and they all had the older woman cackling with glee. "Balance. Sha. We 'boud 'da balance.." She looked around at the four. "But how ya t'ink 'da balance be when ya got all 'dese spirits, all 'dis energy 'round 'dat ain' s'pose t'be here?" She looked over at Justen. "Ya know what happen when spirit get angry.. when 'da spirt get bad, sha? Ya know.. ya tell 'dem, sha? Tell 'dem what 'da bad is for all 'dem undead t'be wan'd'rin'..." She leaned a bit forward. "An' 'dey been doin' it f'long times, sha.." She chuckled, then looked at Alec. "She a Bennett witch.." As if to say 'duh'. "'Dere line made t'do 'dis. An' she... oh..'dat one 'da stronges' one I ever seen!" She laughed again.
Cameron
Cam was glancing between the woman and Alec, and oh yes, sarcasm was thick with him. Then she looked back to Justen as the woman spoke to him directly, in a sense. He knew about spirits, well, sure he did considering what he did. -d
Justen
"Yeah, I know." He nodded and looked to the others. "They go insane. Become vengeful. Get murderous. Some will possess people. Make them do things that...." He shook his head. "It's not pretty." he looked back at Agnes. "So you tell me why it is I'm not digging up graves, salting and burning bones right now." To him it was simple. Get rid of them, the quick and easy way, before they could become a nuisance.
Tamsin
Tamsin looked to Justen as he gave the explanation on what Agnes was asking him about. Vengeful. Murderous. Possess people. All of it had her frowning, and she didn't like it, none of it. She glanced to him, green eyes to his, and then looked back toward Agnes as Justen asked his own question about why Tamsin, and why not just get rid of the bones. Hunter style.
Alec
"Good points, all." Alec nodded, looking from Tamsin and Justen back to Agnes, catching and holding Cam's gaze as he did so, before finally settling blues to the woman's dark eyes. "And you're going to just help Tamsin do this, out of what? The goodness of your heart? I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, but people don't generally do something for nothing. What do you get out of it?"
Agnes
" 'Dere udda witches tryin' ta get 'da power for dem'selves...an' 'dey ain' 'da kind ya wan' have alla 'dat mojo..." She looked between them all, and then back toward Justen. "Better t'have 'da witch ya trus' 'dan someone 'dat ain' no good havin' it all, sha?" She looked around toward Tamsin. "'Dem whispers ain' g'won leave ya 'lone, chile. 'Dey ain't g'won letcha res'... until ya do what only you can do f'dem. Ya do it 'dat way, 'da power stay good. Ya let 'dem fester, an' let 'dem uddas get 'dey way.. and the magic g'won be black as 'da Devil heart.. an' 'dat g'won be bad for alla us." -d
Justen
"If Tamsin's the only one that can do it, then what does it matter what other witches want to try and take it? Because unless I heard you wrong, only a Bennett can take that power..." he paused and looked back at Tamsin. "You got cousins, distant relatives?" Or was it... Justen looked back at Agnes. "Or is a matter of only a Bennett can do it and not be an ass about it?"
Tamsin
Tamsin shook her head when Justen asked about relatives. She was, as far as Tamsin knew, the last of her line. No brothers. Cousins. Sisters. Estranged half siblings. Every generation had one child, male or female it seemed. One surviving child, at least. It was perhaps the downfall of her bloodline as well. "No, it's only me.." She gave a small glance toward the others, and then waited to hear Agnes' response to Justen's question.
Alec
Alec was curious to know about that himself and his gaze locked onto Agnes, waiting for the answer to that question. He still didn't know what the risks were to Tamsin, and he wanted to know before she made any decisions.
Agnes
Agnes looked to Justen, and she leaned forward and clapped her hands to the table with a loud laugh. "Ah! Ya doan' jus' look pretty. Ya be 'da smart one, sha?" She gave him a grin, and then leaned back again. "'Dat be 'da reason. Bennett blood is 'da pures'.. 'dey're 'da good witches, if ya wan' say 'dat. 'Dat kin' power ain' g'won corrupt a Bennett witch.. ain' g'won turn her bad.. make her go t'da dark side of magic. She 'da only witch now 'dat can hol' alla 'dat power, an' not let it eat her up... rot her soul... 'dat why they seekin' her out. 'Dat why she need act fas' .. because uddas 'dey comin'. 'Da spirits. 'dey feel it. An' 'dey scared..." She looked toward Alec, held his gaze, and then swept those yes toward Tamsin. "Ya 'da only one 'dat can do 'dis. An' ya got a whole lotta people 'dat can make sure ya a'righ' .. an' 'dat nuttin' go wrong.."
Cameron
Cam frowned some, and looked back between Alec and Justen, and then to Tamsin. For what any one of them might feel or think, it was going to have to come down to her choice. And hers alone. Cam didn't know what it would entail, but she was sure one or both of those men were going to get that out of Agnes before much longer. -d
Justen
Justen's reaction to Agnes calling him pretty and smart was a glance to Tamsin, one of those, 'she called me pretty' shit eating grins on his face. And then he sobered and looked back at the woman. "So what's it going to take to do this, and what's it going to do to Tamsin?" Agnes already said it wouldn't turn her 'dark' and that was a relief because he'd dealt enough dark magic witches in his day to know it wasn't pretty, and it wasn't easy to take them out. Hence the witch rounds he had in the trunk of his car.
Tamsin
Tamsin was listening to Agnes, every word she spoke was something she was committing to memory. She did catch that shit eating grin from Justen, and it caused her to crack a smile. Her fingers patted along his leg, to assure him that yes, he was pretty. And smart. Though pretty wasn't her first choice word. She then looked back toward Alec, and Cam, before she focused on Agnes to learn exactly what it would take, and what if anything, it would do to her.
Alec
Alec smirked at Justen's reaction, his gaze catching Tam Tam's and then he too was looking back at Agnes. His hand went to Cam's, fingers curling around her own, though he didn't lace them. There was still that thought in the back of his mind that he may need to move swiftly and the less entangled he and Cam were, the faster he could move to do what needed to be done.
Agnes
"She g'won hafta dance nekkid unner 'da moon, and sacrifice a chicken...while she say a few words." She said it, so quickly, so smoothly.. and then cackled as she waited for their reactions.
Cameron
Cam's fingers brushed along Alec's, but again didn't thread with his own. Agnes's words had her blinking dark eyes, and then okay, yes, she cracked up. "No shit..?"
Agnes
Agnes watched for all the reactions, and then finally, she'd laugh. "It g'won take a spell, 'dat she a'reddy know in 'dat book of hers. An' a bit of her blood, an' it g'won take a few udda t'ings... candles, mos'ly. An' 'dere a place in 'da graveyard.. a tomb 'dat g'won be 'da bes' place.." She heard the questions of what it would do to Tamsin, and there was a small purse of her lips. "It g'won make her tired, firs'.. 'da spells always do.. 'dem rit'als ain' easy.. and then..." She gave Justen a pointed smirk. "She g'won have a lotta energy to learn t'control..." -d
Justen
"What?" Hell, Justen had no issue with her dancing naked, so long as he could watch... But the whole sacrificing a chicken was... well, better than some things that could be demanded. "How about I sacrifice a bucket of KFC, extra crispy and we call it done?"
Tamsin
Tamsin was not in favor of the whole sacrificing a chicken thing, either. And dancing naked under the moon, well, that wasn't so bad. She actually did that, though Justen had yet to witness that, but a promise had been made sometime ago to make it happen. Then, she looked at Agnes, almost opening her mouth to speak before Justen piped in with the KFC offer, and she lost it. She laughed, and leaned to him and pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth, because sweet mercy that was funny, and so needed. She set green eyes back on Agnes after watching Cam and Alec's faces first, and then she lifted a brow at the spoken outcome. Tired, and then excess energy? That didn't sound so bad. That happened sometimes with just doing magic anyway.. the tired part.
Alec
Tamsin wasn't the only one to crack the hell up over Justen's quip and he looked over at the man and shook his head, grinning, before he looked at Cam, and then over at Agnes. "Lots of energy, hm?" He looked back at Justen, and gave the man a grin before looking again to Agnes. "How long does she have to decide, and how long before it needs to be done?"
Agnes
There was a glance between the four, though she had grinned at the KFC comment too, Agnes had. "T'ree days. We need ta do it by 'den... in order t'make sure ya get 'da best chance...an' because 'dem udda witches.. 'dey coming soon. We need t'make it happen b'fore 'dey get here." -d
Justen
Justen looked between the other three before he settled his gaze on Tamsin. "It's up to you. Your call. I'll back your play, either way, and if you decide you don't want to do it, we'll start dealing with 'em my way." Though, truth be told, he had no idea how many spirits they were talking about and that was IF they could even find the graves to dig up to salt and burn the bones.
Tamsin
Tamsin heard the timeline, and then she heard Justen, and he could see, as well as hear that relief that swept from her in both a breath and that glance. Her hand squeezed again at his leg, and then she looked to Cam and Alec, too, to see what they were thinking, or going to say. A small nod to Agnes. "Three days." She needed that time, to talk it over, to discuss it, because it was a lot to think on, and from the way she'd heard the whispers.. this was going to be a lot of energy.
Alec
"Whatever you want to do, Tam Tam." Alec nodded his reassurance, brow furrrowed in concern for her. "We'll help, either way." He looked back at Agnes. "What does she need, in order to do this? Is there any kind of prep beforehand or is it just the ritual? And how does the ritual go down?"
Agnes
"Find 'da spell in ya book. Ya know it when ya see it..." She looked to Tamsin, and then toward Alec and the others. "She need jus' t'be ready. An' be sure. Once she start 'da rit'al, she can' stop it.." She looked at Tamsin and held her gaze so she understood the seriousness of it. "I g'won get 'da udda t'ings she need. I can he'p her wit' 'da set up, but she 'da one 'dat got ta' do 'da spell.." She nodded toward Tamsin again. "T'ree days. Ya come here. We all go t'da graveyard t'gedder.." She looked toward Justen. "An' ya bring alla 'dem t'ings ya use, hunta..." And then back toward Cam and Alec. "An ya be reddy too, b'cause when 'dat rit'al start, 'da udders g'won know.. an' g'won come runnin' t'stop it.." -d
Justen
"Oh, wonderful." he nodded, and then looked at the Cam and Alec. "Guess it's time I give you guys a run down on my trunk." He had all kinds of junk in there. And he'd had a demon or two in there at one time or other. He looked back at Agnes. "Is there anyone else... anything else, that you expect to be looking to cash in on this energy?" If there were demons coming to the party, he'd better know about it beforehand. Or anything else for that matter. "I can lay a demon trap down for the ritual to be done in. They won't willingly step into it. If they do, I own their ass."
Tamsin
Baby and her trunk. Tamsin had a special relationship with Baby. That was just one of those things, because the first and foremost woman in Justen's life deserved that kind of respect and affection. The mention of his trunk, and Tamsin was looking toward Alec and Cam with a small nod. She'd seen it. He'd showed her a few ... okay, a lot of stuff in there on the road trip. Tamsin then looked toward Agnes to see if there was anything else coming .. as Justen had asked.
Alec
Alec gave a nod to Justen's comment and call him curious now, but he was interested in seeing just what the hell Justen had in the trunk of his car. He looked back at Agnes then, his fingers finally lacing with Cam's. Seemed they weren't going to need to kill anyone tonight.
Agnes
" Sha." She nodded to Justen. "Ya migh' wan' lay 'dat down jus' in case. I know 'dere witches.. but ya doan know what 'dey bringin' w'it 'dem. When ya got some 'da stronges' in N'awleans... roamin' an' needin' res'.. 'dey g'won fight hard t'get 'dat en'gy." She gave them all a nod. "I g'won see ya in t'ree days.." She looked toward the four, pausing on Tamsin, and then she moved toward the beads that had kept out any hint of activity in the shop beyond. "Now. Ya go an' cause mischief at 'da Dungeon, sha?" She gave them all a grin, and then she turned and moved off, and toward the back, then seemed to just.. not be there. -d
Justen
Justen nodded. It made sense, and it was better to be safe, than sorry. Rising, he held his hand out for Tamsin's and then gave Agnes a double take when she mentioned the Dungeon. He didn't say anything, just looked to the others as they got ready to leave themselves.
Alec
Alec rose, stepped back and eased the chair back in, before he looked back at Agnes. The woman knew entirely too much, but then he paused and had to ask. "Why don't you take it for yourself?"
Tamsin
She slid her hand into his and was on her feet as Agnes left the small back room. A glance to the others, and then she gave a quiet.. "Can we still get drunk? Or something?" She was hoping, because after all of that.. they all needed liquor.
Justen
"Hell yes." he nodded and then looked back at Agnes as Alec posed that question.
Agnes
Agnes's voice went back toward them, from the shop. "I tell ya. Bennett witch 'da only ones 'dat take all 'dat power, and it not make 'dem turn.." Her low chuckle was dark sounding. "I know 'dat I take it f'm'self.. 'dere g'won be a whole lotta uddas comin' t'take me out.." And that was all she had to say.
Cameron
Cam, was on her feet, fingers still threaded through Alec's, and she gave a glance to Tamsin. "Oh yes. Drunken debauchery is still, even moreso, on the menu." She gave a grin, and then started to leave with Alec. They needed out of there. -d
Alec
And there was the hook. The something wanted. She wanted the energy taken care of, but didn't want to paint a target on her own back. Alec looked between the other three, then back to Agnes. "Three days." Three days to decide. And then Cam would either be the strongest witch New Orleans had seen in generations or they'd be on their way back to Seattle without a backward glance.
Tamsin
Tamsin would be, because Cam was hot, but she wasn't a Bennett. They were headed out of the shop, nothing else said, nothing touched, as they made their way out, and back to the street, and it was on the street again that there seemed to be more air suddenly. She could inhale, and exhale, and not feel some sense of a weight burdening her. At least for now. Whispers tickled at her mind, her ears, but she was able to brush them off as she looked toward the other three, her hand still closed with Justen's, and said.. "Onward to hedonistic delights, with liquor chasers.." She gave a little grin. Alec was rubbing off on her. Not on her.. though he wouldn't object to that, if he could, she was sure.
Justen
Justen chuckled and nodded. "Lead on..." He as down for some heavy drinking and partying as well and as they headed out, hand in hand with Tam, that right hand slid back up under his flannel to adjust the pistol there once more as his gaze swept over their surroundings.
Cameron
Cam was watching, looking over the shop as they left as well, and only on the street did she turned more directly to glance around them. No visible signs of anyone watching too closely, so then she leaned into Alec, and gave him a nudge with her hip. "Alright. Now to the better part of the evening.." She grinned up at him, and then glanced back to Tamsin and Justen, before they were onward back in the direction of the house, only because the Dungeon was pretty much in that vicinity as well. -d
Alec
Very much in the vicinity. Just across Bourbon Street on Toulouse, in fact, and Alec dropped his arm around Cam's shoulders as they headed that way, his own eyes taking in their surroundings. His eyes and ears. Not everything one needed to know was to be seen. So far though, all was well and he began to relax some. "Anyone else think that was..."
Tamsin
"Crazy as hell?" She offered, and grinned up at Justen, before looking ahead of them at Alec and Cam. Her hand in his, the other one reached up to tuck a few strands behind her ear, and then she followed the street with her eyes, taking in the sights, and the sounds.. as well as working through in her head what exactly had happened back there.
Justen
"Creepy as..." Smirking, he looked at Tamsin and then nodded. "Hell yes." Justen nodded as he fell into step with the others, his hand still holding Tamsin's as they moved through the night time crowd. He shook his head and drew in a deep breath, letting it out slowly, that scowl still worn, despite the fun times they were headed for.
Cameron
Cam was very much in agreement with both Tamsin and Justen's almost assessment of the whole meeting with the woman, Agnes. She looked toward the street ahead of them, but then glanced back to the other two. Justen's scowl seen, there was a small raise of her brow, before she looked up to Alec, and then ahead toward the expected narrow passageway she'd heard enough about to be almost excited to find as their entryway into the Dungeon. -d
Alec
The door to the place was open, or rather the door to the passage was open, and Alec led them inward, and down the narrow gap between buildings to the open space or slightly more open space as it were, between the buildings they'd just passed and what was technically the back of the building that faced the next street over. At some point, the whole architecture had gotten split in a bizarre way which left that narrow gap the way in to the place. It wasn't a large place, but it had a definite vibe and was rumored to be a hang out of vampires. A fact that Alec found rather amusing.
gonola.com/2011....html
Tamsin
Tamsin saw the passageway ahead, and she turned, walking backwards, essentially, and glanced up to the scowl Justen was still wearing. A brush up of her thumb, and there was a knitting of her brows. "What am I going to have to do to get rid of that scowl, Mr. Kaj?" She asked, as she glanced over her shoulder to make sure she wasn't at risk for running into Cam or Alec, and then back to Justen.
Justen
Watching as Tamsin walked backward in front of him, the scowl eased and he smiled. "Oh, I'm sure I can think of something." He slipped his arm around her, a kiss dropped to her lips before he turned her and headed into the little courtyard between buildings, and followed the other two inside. He paused, the music washing over him and that smile that he'd had, turned into a grin. "Yes..." Moving further in, the seating.... Okay there were no tables, but there benches.... Inside cages. One brow cocked upward as he looked to Tamsin and then the others.
Cameron
Cam was looking forward, and caught sight of the seating, as well as the other.. decorations in the place. "Mmm.. this looks like the best kind of place for us.." She mused to Alec with that wolfish grin on her lips. She caught the look from Justen as she turned her head to see the two of them, and their reactions, and she chuckled. "At least there's no chains, mm? Wasn't that the only thing we said were a no no for us?" -d
Alec
"I love this place." Alec clapped his hands together and gave them a gleeful rub before heading for a cage, one hand lifting to get a waitress's attention. "Place tends to fill up with goths and wanna be vampires." Yes, Alec found a great deal of amusement in that. Now anyway. Before he was turned it was just an oddity, now it was downright hilarious to him and he wanted to see if there were any actual vamps other than him and Cam in the place.
Tamsin
The fact the place had cages, and benches in the cages had Tamsin's eyes wide, and she turned her head to look to Justen, and then back toward the cage and bench seats that Alec was leading them all toward. "This is going to be bad.." And she said that in a strictly wicked, dirty, debauched kind of awe-struck tone. Shadows. Darkness. Cages. Liquor. Oh yes, it was going to be wicked. And then she looked at Justen with a quirk of her lips. "So.. do tell me what something you're thinking of..." She stepped in, and then up to the bench, to set herself against the 'bars' of the cage, at least near the door. "I'm.. your prisoner, after all..." She gave a small grin, and then laughed a bit because that was dorky. Right?
Justen
"More like a guideline, rather than a rule." He smirked, and chuckled, following Alec and Cam to the chosen cage. The only bad thing was... If something went down, you were literally trapped in the damned thing with little avenue for escape to combat whatever the fuck was coming at you. He paused outside of the thing, debating, a glance around given at the clientele an staff. "What can go wrong, right?" He followed Tamsin in, that brow cocking upward once more at that comment and expression from her. "Well, if you need to be held for questioning..." He gave her that lopsided grin as his eyes moved over her. Any qualms he'd had were gone now as he settled in beside her.
Cameron
Justen had Cam looking over at him as they stepped to the cage, and she slid in beside Alec. There was a raise of her brow when Tamsin made that funny little prisoner comment, but then it was Justen's look around at the cage that had her more amused. "Relax. If anything's going to come get us, this cage will be sawdust before it causes a problem.." She chuckled, and winked at him as he moved in to settle next to Tamsin, and Cam was turning her focus back to Alec. "We're all trapped in a cage.. with no booze yet, and everyone's got on all their clothes.. this isn't how I saw our evening of debauchery, babe.." -d
Alec
Alec gestured to the waitress as she came over and he motioned. "Keep the drinks flowing and run a tab." Any resistance to running a tab due to the fact that they weren't regulars would be skirted with a little bit of compulsion and soon enough, the booze was flowing, and their service would be top notch, all night. Alec opted for his usual bourbon, a glance given the others as to what they wanted.
Tamsin
Tamsin gave a slow grin as she slid in and he settled beside her. A glance toward Alec and Cam, and then she looked behind her at the cage and its wall. There was a small grin as she reached up and tucked her hands under the draping of a few pieces of leather on the outside of the cage wall. "Gonna torture the answers out of me?" A small grin, and then as the waitress was there, Tamsin just about fell into Justen's lap trying to get her hands unhooked through the leather straps, and cleared her throat, then turned instead to bury her face against his chest as she felt the rush of heat in her cheeks. "I'll have what he's having.." She squeaked up, and then laughed against his chest some more.
Justen
Justen laughed, his arms going around her as she fell into him, having been busted by the waitress in her moment of kink. "Make mine a bourbon as well." His hand slid over her hair, fingers closing in a fist at the nape of her neck before he dropped a kiss to her forehead and then he was sliding his hand on down her back to rest on her hip.
Cameron
Cam had been almost ready to order her drink when she saw Tamsin and the leather straps on the cage wall... and oh shit. She had to wipe at the corners of her mouth a little. There went that mind of hers, doing all kinds of things to that little witch that just weren't proper. A glance to Alec, and that wolfish grin was well in place before she looked over toward Justen. "You better take advantage of that leather..and that witch..." She gave a low husky laugh, before she turned and nodded to the waitress. "Mine too." Then back to Tamsin. "Own it, beautiful .. not a one of us three are going to complain if you get a little kinky tonight.." She paused. "Or a lot." A wink to Justen, before she turned to look toward Alec. -d
Alec
"I never complain about kink." He shook his head and the waitress moved off to fill their order and yes, Alec watched the woman's ass as she walked away. Looking back at Cam, he waggled his brows at her. "We could bite that in the ass, and see how far she lets us ride."
Tamsin
The hand down along her back had her shiver right into it, and when his hand settled at her hip, she was leaning into him more with that draw of her mouth against his neck since she was already there anyway. Tamsin turned green eyes on Alec, and there was a grin there. "You don't complain about much of anything when it involves sex, Alec.." She countered. Then watched the waitress walk off, and heard Alec talk to Cam about biting her on the ass. Tamsin knew they were talking about the waitress, but hey, why waist the moment, to slid up and settled onto Justen's lap for the moment. Ass to groin, to protect herself from any more wandering eyes, at least for the moment. He'd protect her ass!
Justen
Like Justen would complain. He smiled, snugging his arm around her to hold her in place, chuckling at her comment to Alec about sex. "Well who would complain about anything involving sex?" Unless it wasn't enough. There would be cause to complain. If only jokingly...
Cameron
Cam heard Tamsin and chuckled, and then looked back to Alec with a brow lifted. "Maybe.. if you weren't getting enough, you would..." She gave him a grin, and then looked over toward the other two. Yeah. That wasn't a worry. Never had been. Never would be. "Some kink in your life does a body good, Tamsin..." She winked at her and then looked around the bar outside of the cage they were in. "There's enough leather scraps here, I think we could make you an outfit, even... or at least make sure you have enough straps to keep you detained for your.. interrogation..." She gave that wolfish grin, before she looked up as the waitress arrived with their drinks. "Oh, you are a tempting little morsel, aren't you..?" She eyed her up and down, and then leaned , hooking a leg around Alec's to make sure she didn't topple off the bench as she checked out the waitress's ass, to which the poor woman gave her a blink, a roll of the eyes, and then she turned to leave with a promise the tab was running. -d
Alec
"Me, not get enough?" He smirked at that and then leaned in. "In what world would you ever allow that to happen?" he dropped a kiss to her lips just as the waitress came back with their drinks, and as the woman passed them out, and Cam gawked, Alec gave her that panty dropping smile. "Yes, yes she is." Lifting his glass to take a sip, he watched the woman over the rim as she walked away. Smirking, he looked back at Cam. "I don't think she knows quite what to do with you."
Tamsin
Arm snaked around her and she was leaning back against Justen's chest. Cam's commentary on kink, and then on making her an outfit out of leather strips had her brows raised. "No you couldn't!" She laughed, and then looked around, trying to spot where all the leather was, just to see how much Cam was seeing. Could she? Dominatrix Tamsin. A small snicker at the idea of it, and then as drinks were passed out she leaned forward to get hers. Lean and lean back. Yeah, that wasn't pointedly working that position or anything. Cam's flirting with the waitress had Tamsin looking between her and Alec.
Justen
"I'm sure you could think of a few things." Justen smirked at Alec, glass taken and yes, he was enjoying that lean and shift back again. Lifting the glass, he took a sip and then let his free hand drop back to Tamsin's hip. He glanced around the room again, getting the lay of the place and looking for anything out of the ordinary... then again, the whole place was filled with out of the ordinary.
Cameron
"The day you aren't getting enough sex, is the day you know I've been sta...bbed in the heart and buried six feet under.." She murmured with a chuckle toward Alec, while looking back over at the waitress. "I just think she's not into girls.. damn shame, that." She glanced toward Justen and then back toward Alec. "Which means, you boys could get lucky.. get a little.. strange.." She gave a slow grin before she took a sip of her bourbon. "Just don't bring any strange back to the house.." They'd had that issue once, and it turned out to be a clingy, moody demon. Not happening again, thanks. A glance toward Tamsin as she caught her looking around. "Oh, Tamsin.. I am sure there is more than enough leather in this place to make you a get up.. what do you think, Justen? Want to see her gussied up in some leather here and there?" -d
Alec
"I promise not to bring any strange back to the house." Alec even crossed his heart with his fingers. "Can't have moody lurking about, popping in without notice or even a knock, and then unable to see how it was an invasion of privacy..." No, why would anyone find a complete lack of common courtesy annoying as fuck? Alec shook his head, still not quite able to wrap his mind around that one. Granted they were open and fun loving but damn, if you're not going to get naked and join in the fun, don't show up when they were about to have it.
Tamsin
Cam was talking to her, no, she was more asking Justen what he thought of wrapping Tamsin up in leather. Oh good goddess. She looked at Justen, and was grinning, waiting to see what she said, before she glanced to Alec at the mention of moody, lurking, and popping in without notice...hmm.. there was a brief moment she always asked who they were talking about, but she bit her lower lip instead and waited to see if Justen had visions of leather clad Tamsin dancing in his head.
Justen
Don't mind him, he was already lost in the vision. His eyes may well have glazed over slightly before he shook himself free of the vision. "What?" Justen looked from one to the other, and then back to Tamsin and he smiled at her. "I could so see you in leather. Maybe not the scraps found here..." Face it, they were likely covered with god only knew what...
Cameron
That promise, oh and he was even crossing his heart. Yeah, that earned that slow turn of Cam's head and the drop of a bourbon blessed kiss to his lips. And a sloe drag of her teeth along his lower lip. "Mmgood. No more fun ruiners. They're outlawed in the house. Houses." Whichever one they were in at any given time, damn it all. Cam turned, and caught that glazed look before Justen shook out of it and she gave a low chuckle. "Yeah.. the ones here probably have enough DNA on them to make crime scene investigation a living hell.." There, Cam said it. She wasn't shy. Fuck knows she wasn't shy about pretty much anything. -d
Alec
"Ew, try not to touch them." Smirking, he kissed Cam's lips and then glanced over at Justen and Tam Tam. He tipped his head to not so quietly whisper in Cam's ear. "We should give them something to aspire to..." A little personalized debauchery lesson. It was good for the soul.
Tamsin
"In leather?" She gave him a slow little grin. "Ohh. Now I have something to surprise you with.." Tamsin in leather. She shouldn't have said she'd try to make that happen so loud, especially now where Alec and Cam could hear her. She did turn when Alec whispered no so quietly to Cam's ear. A lift of her chin, and that infectious grin settled to her lips as she made that slow shift in Justen's lap again, and leaned to whisper back up along his jaw. "Ohh.. they're going to give us a lesson... I think we should pay close attention.. and make sure we follow their lead.." She wasn't exactly sure what Alec had in mind, but, well. At least in the dark they couldn't get thrown out for it, could they?
Justen
Justen bit back a groan with that little wiggle in his lap, and he shook his head. "That would depend..." What was the penalty for public lewdness in New Orleans? Was there one? Really, during Mardi Gras women were half naked, wearing only beads and sometimes paint to cover their breasts.
Cameron
"Now now, Justen..." She offered with a slow grin in his direction. "Come on. Play along... we just love giving lessons..." There was a glance around, and then she looked back toward Alec, with a tip up of her chin. "Not too many. I think I could handle the ones at least around the cage.. shall I, and you can ready the pupils for the lesson ahead..?" Compelling people to ignore anything they see was easier than compelling them to forget sometimes. But at least this way, there was no risk of cops being called just in case they got a little too... loud. Yes, loud. Cam slid from the seat beside Alec, and with a roll of hips that gave him full on view of that ass he so favored, she moved out of the cage, and headed along to the visible few closest to it. And of course, there was the waitress. Now.. that there wouldn't be any distractions... lesson could begin. -d
Alec
"Yeah..." he nodded. "A simple compulsion to keep all but the waitress from noticing us." Grinning, he grasped her hips and set her to her feet, then stood up and moved to step out of the cage. Those closest would be compelled and granted it wasn't fool proof, since people did tend to move around a bit, but it would, more or less leave a... he paused and looked at Tamsin. "Wait. You, little witchy, can put a cloaking spell around this particular cage, can you not?" He waved his finger about while pointing at her as if sussing out that very answer for himself.
Tamsin
Tamsin looked up at Justen, and then when Cam started out of the cage, and Alec caught her, there was a small glance to Alec, then to Justen, before she gave a nod. She turned, and moved to look about, and motioned for Cam to bring her the candle that was closest to her. It wasn't lit, more for a prop, but Tamsin needed it. Once they were all four in, she closed her eyes, and then quietly repeated the incantation. The energy moved around them in the cage, and then slowly, closely beyond it. The candle was settled center of the cage, and then it flared to life as she spoke to single word invocation. "Invisique.' She repeated it and then again, until finally, the energy seemed to soothe, and the candle snuffed itself out. "Have to get out own drinks this way..." She gave a grin.
Justen
"That works." He smiled at her, looking from her to the candle and back. "So going to have to be one of you girls because after a while..." he gave a cluck of his tongue and gestured to his crotch. "Don't want to scare the tourists." Justen looked to Cam and Alec and then back at Tamsin.
Cameron
Cam looked at Alec, and then toward Tamsin. She was in the cage, when the candle thing started, and well, that was something she never got tired of seeing. But when the energy was humming, Cam was feeling that sensitive artwork on her chest respond. The fuck.. she dropped to the bench and gave a breathless look up toward Alec. Side effects. That shit needed to come with warning labels. Cam gave a grin then toward Justen when the witchcrafty stuff was done. "I'll volunteer.." She winked toward Alec and Justen. "Wouldn't want you boys to incite a riot and all.." -d
Alec
"Better make it a bottle..." he paused, and looked around between them. "Two would be better." For starters. Because yes, he had a high tolerance. Alec dropped back down onto the bench and yes, he pulled Cam into his arms, onto his lap, but then paused. "Maybe we should stock up on booze first."
Tamsin
That he took it in stride when she did the spell, had green eyes looking to Justen, and she was smiling. Candle set aside, the spell done, they were all but invisible to anyone passing around or near the cage. Nothing to see here. She eased back up onto the bench, and then glanced toward Cam at the mention by Alec to stock up on booze first. Her hands rubbed together as she'd seen Alec do enough times, and she glanced between Alec and Cam, and then to Justen. "I'm ready to learn..." She then laughed.
Justen
"The eagerness is strong in this one." Justen gave Tamsin that lopsided grin, and then he motioned to Alec and Cam in that, 'carry on' way. "Alright, let's see what you got." He regarded the pair for a moment but then his eyes went back to Tamsin, watching her as she looked back at him.
Cameron
Cam was on her feet and moved out of the cage to get the bottles of bourbon. A little compelling conversation, and the bottles were hers, and there was a good hefty tip settled to the bar for the trouble. Then, back into the cage in time to hear Tamsin, and watch the motion of Justen's hands for she and Alec to carry on. Bourbon bottles settled down. There of them, to be exact. She poured glasses full from one, and slid the other two outwards. One in Tamsin and Justen's direction, and one towards she and Alec. A glass up, she took a long swallow of the bourbon, and then moved toward Alec. "You heard the lady and the hunter... let's teach them a thing or three.." She waggled those brows at Alec. -d
Alec
"Well, we've got it easy tonight, because of the wonderful magic of Tam Tam, but normally one would have to be... a little more discreet, in a bold way." He shrugged. "Sex is more than bodies meshing, hands, lips tongues.... other extremities..." he smiled, glass taken up and sipped from. "The biggest sex organ anyone will ever have is the brain." He tapped his temple and then took another sip from his glass, before he focused his attention on Cam. "When you want to seduce a woman, in public, naturally you start simply by watching her, admiring her, the way she moves, the way she speaks, let her know with a glance, a look, that you appreciate her beauty."
Tamsin
They were in learning mode, weren't they? That meant she should probably not be leaning too close to Justen, or, hands on him. So, Tamsin was settled beside him, and drew her legs along under her a bit as she listened and watched Alec. She gave a small grin, and took her glass up to take a drink, before she looked back with those vibrant green eyes on Justen.
Justen
Justen looked between Alec and Cam and then at Tamsin, before smirking and looking back at Alec. "Already got that down." he lifted his glass and took a healthy drink. Hell, Justen had women slipping him their phone number without anything more than a smile sent their way. Picking up women was definitely not a problem.
Cameron
Cam gave a low chuckle when Justen informed Alec he had the whole pick up art down pat already. "I think it's the lopsided grin of his..." She gave Alec the lean in and low spoken whisper, that Justen would hear easily enough. Tamsin too. "Next phase of the lesson, babe.." She brushed her lips to Alec's temple, since Justen seemed to be a real ladies man. Something Alec and he apparently had in common. -d
Alec
"Next step... Camouflage. Once you have her, you have to take advantage of your natural surroundings.... yes, we cheated here, but by and large, in this much dim lighting, and in these cages... not realy an issue, but even in the broad light of day, so much could be done." he smiled. "Say, we're out in a park, or a ... church yard." Hey, it had happened with them, more than once. "You're sitting on a bench, cuddling with your woman, or a picnic table." Alec took Cam's hand and had her rise from where she sat, moving her to sit sideways in his lap. "A simple, simple means of cuddling and getting your freak on in public is to have her simply settle. Naturally your hands will fall to her thigh. Now obviously this works best if she's in a skirt..."
Tamsin
Tamsin was grinning, and when Justen said he had that part already down, she had to admit, he did have the charm factor. Just like Alec. So, she nodded in agreement. He had no shortage of women trying to pick him up during the road trip. And not afraid to do so when she'd been sitting right there. The next step was given by Alec. Camouflage, and she gave a glance to Justen to see what he'd do as Alec demonstrated having Cam sit on his lap sideways.
Justen
Justen held up his hand. "Okay, a hundred bucks when you get to something I haven't already done, at least once." Justen looked at Tam and patted his thigh in invitation, a smirk given. "And uh, roadside rest areas also have picnic tables..."
Cameron
And that.. was where Cam's brow rose, and she looked at Justen. Then, back to Alec. "He's putting money on the table.." She gave a small chuckle, and leaned into that lap settled position she was in. Glance toward Tamsin at the mention of roadside rest areas and picnic tables, and then back to Alec with a lean in and a press of her lips to the corner of his mouth. -d
Alec
"Oh, it's serious now." Alec chuckled, his hand slipping between Cam's thighs, fingers brushing the denim along her inner thigh. "So you've got this down. Maybe less tell and more..." He nodded, and then reached for the bottle, holding onto Cam with one hand, topping off their glasses with the other. "Okay, instead of instruction, let's go with Never Have I Ever..." He looked between them as he set the bottle down and then picked up his own glass again. "Now, if someone suggests something that no one has done, the person who suggests it has to drink..." he looked between them all, just to make certain they were clear on that. "I'll start. Never have I ever, kissed on the first date." he looked between them to see who was going to be drinking with him.
Tamsin
The thigh pat had Tamsin scooting over, and she eased up and onto his lap, with that same side-settle that Cam had taken with Alec. The announcement of the drinking game instead had her brows up. And she had to think about the first question poised. "Wait.. what if it wasn't really a date.." She looked at Justen, brow up. Gator. First night. Did that count for the game? If so, she was drinking, if not, oh.. she was leaving the bourbon glass alone.
Justen
Justen was drinking. Didn't matter, he knew he had at some point or other, then he looked at Tam and chuckled. "Darlin' if you gotta ask, it's likely a yes." He nodded and then took up the bottle to refill as needed. Sooner or later the glass was just going to be skipped, he knew it.
Cameron
Cam watched Tamsin pause, and then laughed at Justen's retort to her. Okay, that was pretty damn funny. She motioned for Tamsin to lift her glass, and she did so herself. That was a simple one. To preserve Alec from asking everything, Cam took the next one. "Never have I ever had sex on the first date..or some equivalent of that.." She added to help Tamsin out. And after a refill on her glass, she was drinking. -d
Alec
Alec was drinking to that one, and then refilling glasses as needed. This could get interesting, really fast. At the very least, they'd get to know the other pair better. They could bond over hedonistic behaviors.
Tamsin
Tamsin looked at Justen, and stuck out her tongue. Yes yes, if she had to ask the answer was yes. So, she drank. And then looked between the others. There had to be something that not all of them had done. Oh! Little grin, as she watched the others, and then she asked the question she knew would get only one of them drinking. Well. She thought? "Never have I ever kissed someone of the same sex. Kissed. Not counting family." She added in there.
Justen
Justen drank to that one from Cam, and debated his own suggestion. "Never have I ever..." he paused as then as Tamsin posed her suggestion and then he cracked up. "That one I am not drinking to, but damned if it's not funny." Mostly because it brought back memories of someone else he knew, family, really, who did in fact kiss a dude. Granted it was the King of the Crossroads but still. It was funny. Now. "Okay, never have I ever... been attracted to someone I have wanted to kill." That one he did drink to, because, well, yeah there'd been at least one.
Cameron
Oh, Tamsin was a wicked bitch. Cam laughed at her question, and then of course, she was drinking. When Justen piped in with his question, there was a pause, and a moment of contemplation, and then fuck it. Cam took a damn drink. There was one of the guys who'd tried to pull her heart from her chest down in New Mexico.. that she'd actually been attracted to, and had later ended up killing. So yes. She drank. Dark eyes slid to Alec to look at him as she leaned in and dropped a warm kiss against his throat, with a slow nip of teeth against the skin. -d
Alec
Both of those suggestions surprised Alec and he skipped Tam's and drank to Justen's, then looked at Cam. "It counts if you want to kill them after, right?" He shrugged, and then tipped his head as Cam nuzzled and nibbled. "Never have I ever..." and by now he'd given up on the glass and just plucked up the bottle. "Never have I ever had sex in church." And he looked to Tamsin and Justen as he took a drink and then offered the bottle out to Cam.
Tamsin
Tamsin laughed a bit at the skipping of her suggestion, but then watched as he downed it for Justen's. The bottle grabbed, she was leaning, ass to groin, poor Justen, and grabbed the bottle for them now too. Though, for that one.. Alec's.. Tamsin had to sit out on the drinking. She was curious through, and watched Justen to see if he drank or not. Cam? She wasn't surprised, because Alec had, so it was natural to assume she'd done it too.
Justen
Justen drew in a breath and then plucked the bottle from Tamsin's hand and took a drink. "Hey, it was the end of the world and I figured I was gonna die. May as well go out with a bang...." He looked between them shrugged.
Cameron
Cam took the bottle from Alec, and drank, and when Tamsin didn't, she looked toward Justen with a grin. "Need to fix that one.." And chuckled, before handing the bottle back up to Alec. "Never have I ever..." She stopped, and shook her finger toward at Tamsin. "Drink, beautiful.. you already answered mine the other night. You've never had a threesome..or more..." -d
Alec
Alec plucked the bottle from Cam's fingers and drank, deep, on that one, and then he chuckled and offered her the bottle back. His gaze then went to the other couple. "Having sex in the same room as other people doesn't count. There has to be physical contact with two or more people during the act..." Just to clarify.
Tamsin
Oh, Cam was awful. Tamsin head the comment about needing to work on that one with her, the whole church sex thing, but then she was asking no, making sure she drank because of the threesome comment. Or, more. Tamsin gave a wrinkle of her nose, but she did drink since Alec clarified that it didn't count if they were just in the same room as other naked, sweaty bodies having sex. A glance to Justen.
Justen
Justen was about to lift the bottle and take the bottle from Tamsin for a deep drink, but he paused when she drank first. "You've had a threesome? An actual threesome?" Justen was then pulling the bottle from her grasp to drink, still watching Tamsin for her response. He was going to be shit faced soon if this kept up. Suffice to say, Cleveland had been more interesting than he'd ever thought possible.
Cameron
Cam was looking at Tamsin, too, when Justen was asking about a real live threesome. A lift of her brow, but she forged onward. "Never have I ever had sex during confession. In the booth." And she lifted the bottle from Alec to drink first, before she held it back to him. Hedonists. All the way.
Alec
Yep, Alec was drinking on that one. And his free hand was creeping further up her inner thigh. If she'd worn a skirt... The bottle was nearly done for, and Alec wasn't buzzed yet. Maybe by the time they killed the second one he'd feel it.
Tamsin
"Oh...no! I didn't mean to drink on that.." Tamsin gave a little grin, and then at the mention of a confessional, she was wide-eyed. "Really? You two? During confession?!" She was just.. shaking her head, and holding off on the bourbon. Then glanced to Justen. "You can still break that one for me, too.. and the other one..." Hell, there were a lot of things he could corrupt her with, and hanging around Cam and Alec, that wouldn't be hard to get back up and encouragement. She was leaning into him more, bodily pressed up against him, and toying with the buttons on his flannel shirt in between the drinks, and the questions. "Never have I ever worn opposite gender's underwear." Silk panties. She just couldn't picture it. On either Justen or Alec. SO it was tame, but it was a funny question.
Justen
"Gladly." Justen was grinning now and already making plans. When Tamsin posed her suggestion, he paused. "Does it matter where you wear them?" He was already lifting the bottle to take a drink though, before handing it back to her.
Cameron
Cam was taking a drink, because she'd worn men's underwear. What woman hadn't? Then she lifted a brow and looked over at Tamsin. Seriously? Tell her the woman was going to drink. "On the right parts, Justen. Surely." She was laughing, and then handed the bottle back to Alec. "I should get another bottle?" She looked between the other three. "There's still not enough buzz, and too many clothes.. damn it." -d
Alec
Alec chuckled and then nodded to Cam as she mentioned getting another bottle. "Yeah, we're going to need it. Make it two." Because no, not drunk yet, but given another bottle or two and he would be.
Tamsin
"I'll get them, Cam..." She offered this time, and held the bottle for Justen after a quick drink, and then rolled herself slowly off his lap and out of the cage to head for the bar. She paid for the two bottles, and it was not quite as easy as it had been for Cam, but Tamsin had her ways, too. So she was back into the cage, with bottles in hand, and she moved right back over to settled herself to Justen's lap, and she wasn't slow about that settle and grind. Mhm. Tamsin might be feeling her bourbon, folks.
Justen
At the right parts comment, Justen lowered the bottle. "Okay, never have I ever, kissed an angel..." And then Tamsin was up and moving and yeah, he was watching her even as he killed the last of that bottle and set it aside. He gave a slight shake of his head, one of those, damn, that's fine shakes, and then watched her as she made her way back. "Alrighty, witchy..." and then he grunted as she dropped to his lap. "Angels kisses, yes or no?"
Cameron
Well shit. Cam actually had to stop on that one. She, for once, could not swear she'd kissed an angel. A real angel. And she looked at Alec, with a brow raised. They'd been apart for a time, so maybe he had, but Cam? She couldn't swear to it. And then she looked back as Tamsin returned, and watched to see if the witch had done something Cam hadn't. -d
Alec
Alec.... no. He was at a loss to that one. "I don't know any angels to kiss." He gave a grudging nod as he regarded Justen. "So what's it like, kissing an angel?"
Tamsin
No angel kissing. She gave him a shake of her head, and then listened to Alec and Cam. Neither of them? Tamsin was amused. At the question from Alec, she turned, curious to Justen's answer. A few buttons of the flannel shirt were undone. Opps. She'd done that, hadn't she? Yes, quite eagerly. "Never have I ever... kissed a vampire.." She grinned, and glanced over toward Cam and Alec, before the open buttons of the flannel shirt distracted her again. A small nip to Justen's neck. She'd asked about vampires.
Justen
"You know that warmth that Tamsin puts out...." Surely they'd felt that sensation in the room the other night. "It's like that. All over. All through you. Everywhere." Justen didn't drink to that one. He'd never kissed a vampire. That nip of his neck that Tam gave him, had him chuckling, even as he tipped his head to give her better access. His free hand was sliding up her back, pressing her to him.
Alec
Alec contemplated Justen's answer, even as he drank to Tamsin's suggestion, the bottle was then offered out to Cam because she'd obviously kissed him, numerous times. Often. And damned well.
Cameron
Cam took notice of the no drinking at Tamsin's query, and there was a slow grin on her lips. "No to the vampire?" She had nodded to the warmth that was there the other night, but then was drawn back to the fact he'd never kissed a vampire. "Would you want to?" She took the bottle and drank, and right after Alec, and then turned, and kissed him. Just to prove her point, and his. -d
Tamsin
Tamsin looked at Justen. "All over?" A hmmm sound, before she was holding off on the drinking to kissing a vampire, but she noted Cam and Alec did, which was kind of the point. Justen hadn't, but when Cam asked if he would, there was a small grin, before she went right back to drawing her lips along Justen's offered neck. Kiss, to nip, and then back to a kiss against the exposed skin.
Justen
"Never thought about it, actually." And that nuzzling of his neck was driving him to distraction. She had a way of doing that, which he was not remorseful about. At Tamsin's question, he nodded, a smile given. "All over."
Cameron
Easiest way to just help someone out, was to take away a choice. So, Cam shifted, and she turned, sliding off Alec's lap with a wicked grind for good measure, and she moved over to where Justen was getting a rather intimate little neck massage by Tamsin. She stroked her fingers along the back of Tamsin's head, and then leaned in and planted one on Justen. A nice, bourbon laced kiss, complete with a little lower lip nip as she pulled back, and ushered him up his bottle as she moved back and took her place on Alec's lap again. "Now. You drink.." A slow grin, watched Justen's face, and waited to see if he kept being distracted by the delectable Tamsin, or went for wood planks and heart stabs. -d
Alec
Alec watched as Cam moved over to Justen, his lips curving up into a highly amused smile, knowing what was coming, and he just tipped that bottle up to drink again, while Cam kissed Justen.
Tamsin
Tamsin felt the fingers stroking her hair, and when Cam kissed Justen, there was a glance, a look from Cam as she moved back and away, and then to Justen. Waiting for connections to be made, and even more, she was trying to brace herself if he was going to throw her off his lap in lieu of vampire hunting, or if the way she was moving her fingers along his chest, parting buttons as she went, was more of a deterrent than something to be ignored for bloodshed.
Justen
That kiss from Cam was a surprise and his lips parted for a moment, the kiss returned for the all too brief moment it was there. When she straightened and told him to drink he just stared at her for a long moment. "Wait, what?" He was still trying to wrap his mind around that as he looked from one to the next. "You gotta friggin' be kidding me?" He looked back at Tamsin, waiting for her reaction, and then realized she didn't drink either. "hey..." and then he was tipping the bottle up, taking a drink before offering it out to her, one brow rising. "Did you?"
Cameron
Cam gave a slow grin, then turned in and gave a nip to Alex's neck again, turning herself in his lap just because she liked to make him squirm. Her dark eyes looked toward Tamsin when Justen offered her the bottle, but Cam raised her hands. "I never touched the pretty witch. Not that I wouldn't mind..." A wink to Tamsin, then she was turning back her focus on Alec, bottle passed back to him. -d
Alec
Taking the bottle, he chuckled, arm around Cam's waist as she squirmed and then his fingers were toying with the buttons of her jeans. "Never have I ever, fucked in a bar full of people." He smiled, then tipped the bottle up, taking a deep drink, his eyes on Cam's.
Tamsin
Tamsin shook her head, glancing up at Justen. "Never have kissed one.." She gave a small grin, and then when the next question came up, now that.. well, Tamsin was passing on that one too. Oh, wait...she looked at Justen, and Alec, and then at Cam and scowled. She knew the bathroom at the restaurant wouldn't count. Damned particulars. So she did not drink. Instead, went right back to finishing the last few buttons on the flannel shirt.
Justen
"Well we can take care of both of those for you, right here, right now." Justen smiled at her, his hand sliding up her back, beneath her blouse.
