Alex Vipond: Alex moved along the pier, checking the shops, looking for something to jump out at him and shout 'buy me'. So far nothing had, but the crap at Ye Old Curiosity did draw his attention. He paused, glancing in through the window, shades which he wore despite the over cast day were pulled off and planted on top of his head. "That's some fucked up shit." Moving into the shop, he wandered toward the display. He didn't touch but he was eyeballing the little shrunken heads that were supposedly made of goatskin, like they'd open their eyes and start talking.
A Blessed Devil: Curiosity would not kill the cat that evening but it would definitely make things more interesting because Alex would have company soon. The Pier would be host to a few different creatures that evening, and one that he might be surprised to see almost dressed casually. But it worked for the blonde devil daring to push his sunglasses up. Jeans that were casually faded, boots and a dark blue button down shirt, if it wasn't for those eyes he'd almost look normal. "Please, sir, tell me you have no intention of buying one of those," he said finally, coming from nowhere around the corner to greet his 'friend'. :::
Alex Vipond: Turning away from the display, Alex chuckled, hand out for Lestat's, as a smile rose. "Do you believe this shit? 'Goatskin'. I don't think so." Alex looked back at the display, then shook his head before stepping away from it and back out the door. "So what brings you here?"
A Blessed Devil: "I believe that people believe this shit," he said, emphasizing that word that sounded a little funny with that little bit of his accent still around. "As for myself, no. They almost like they're about to come alive, do they not? I was out surveying the city, dining a little, and I sensed you near. You have had interesting conversations lately, about me perhaps?" Not that Alex went and talked a lot, but he had a friend if she would be called that. :::
Alex Vipond: "As a matter of fact. some chick named Lilith. Younger, not overly sure of her abilities, I think she thinks she's stronger than she is, but she holds a lot of curiosity about you. Says she knew Marius. I smell fan girl, for certain but there's something off that I can't quite put my finger on." He shrugged. "She didn't say where she was staying, but I get the feeling she will be around a while."
A Blessed Devil: "And do you think that she will be around a while in hopes that we will cross paths?" Simply curious himself, he liked Alex and he didn't want to invade his mind to find out his thoughts, not only would he likely know what was happening but this time he was savoring conversation. Fan girl? Yes, he had experienced those girls before, and he knew there was something deeper about this one but he wasn't dying to know what it was. "Hmm, knows Marius? Usually ones who know Marius will always come to me, no doubt she is one of those. You have to love the younger ones that overstate their abilities." :::
Alex Vipond: "Yeah, they get a little enervating." He shrugged as they walked along the pier. "She came off like she knew more than she was willing to let on, and seemed to think herself quite smart as she questioned. Interesting point, she sent her demon boy toy off to the bar while she discussed you with me." He smiled to Lestat. "So from that, I'm thinking she wants a little more than just an autograph."
A Blessed Devil: Another time that Alex could get him to laugh, since he had recently fed, he didn't quite look or sound as much like a monster as he normally did. "So she chooses to play the human hide and seek game. Keeping secrets from a demon boy toy to try and gain access. Interesting. Thoughts on this situation? How might you handle it if you were me?" It almost always turned out that those who claimed to know so much usually didn't, and it sounded like this creature might just need a game or two played with her. :::
Alex Vipond: "Head on. Find out what she knows, and if she's a point of concern. If she is...." he shrugged. Wouldn't be the first supernatural he'd put down. "The amount of response would be determined by the amount of potential harm."
A Blessed Devil: "If she is a point of concern, then she will go away. I don't sense anything about her that would mean any harm to me at all. But I also tend to destroy those who are such an annoyance that they need to be removed." He said it so casually, but it had been years since he had done that, hadn't it? "Fangirls can always take things to the extreme, can't they, Alex? Including your stalkers?" :::
Alex Vipond: "Without doubt. It's the ones who think they're better, stronger, faster that are a cross between amusing and annoying. Well, not necessarily fangirls but those who tend to stalk. I had one in Sau Paulo once. Shifter. Tiger. Thought he was all that and a bag of chips. I could have taken flight, could have avoided him, but I knew, I just knew he would be back, and during a very public moment." Alex shrugged. "I dealt with him, then and there, rather than waiting for a less convenient time."
A Blessed Devil: "So even you are prone to those moments where the moment just strikes you? Very good of you, Alex, you allow yourself to give in to them, but you don't allow them to overwhelm you. You have come such a long way in your many years. I must admit that even I would have liked to see that, I cannot imagine seeing you in such a position." He would give a little more thought to the situation as they walked but he was moving slower as he was thinking. "I do believe that I could find out even more about her, should I meet her face to face. It's much more interesting to see actions when they're not through the vision of others." :::
Alex Vipond: "Shit happens." He shrugged it off, then paused, as if thinking, but in all actuality he was searching. He went completely still for a moment, the only movement from him was the breeze tousling his hair as he sought sign of her presence nearby. She may well feel that reach, that grasp as he sought her. "She's not far, but precisely where is the question."
A Blessed Devil: Lestat was closing himself off, Alex perhaps he would let in but anyone else would have no chance at all of invading his thoughts in mind. And he laughed again, lightly, turning almost as still as Alex. "Yes, my friend, you are correct, shit does happen. Let's just hope that it does not happen to dear Lilith this evening." :::
Alex Vipond: "That, is entirely up to her. I do not trust her motives, but then I tend to be somewhat suspicious of our kind." He shrugged. Fact of life. He'd been fucked over by more vampires than anyone else. And just because he was paranoid, didn't mean they weren't out to get him.
A Blessed Devil: "I don't think her motives are to be trusted, Alex, not at all. I snatched glimpses, but only the smallest. And I can assure you that you do not need to believe for a second that I would do anything to bring you or those you love harm." Just the smallest glimpse into Alex, not reading him as much as glancing into his mind but there would be no more. "Should the need to dispose of this one arise, will i need to worry about your displeasure?" :::
Alex Vipond: "I don't know her, beyond our little conversation. She could just be out to get into your pants or she could be looking to make a name for herself in taking you out. And I don't mean to the prom..." Though the thought of that struck Alex funny for some reason and he snorted a bit of a laugh, before he cleared his throat and squelched the rest.
A Blessed Devil: "Wouldn't that be interesting? I suppose I could let her try if she truly wishes but then in the end she would be left as nothing but a pile of greasy ash on the pavement." He sounded almost wistful when he said it, but he wasn't going to go to that extreme unless it was necessary. It was the laugh that really got his attention, he heard the snort and it amused him. "A vampire with a sense of humor, we do need more of those in the world." :::
Alex Vipond: "It's gotten me into trouble more than once." He smirked. "I used to drive the Temoin of the city batshit with it. He could not understand my humor, or my modern ways. He found it ghastly that one of my age would actually behave like a man of this age." One shoulder rose and dropped with that typical 'whattayagonnado' expression on his face. "Really pissed him the fuck off when Meghan, my wife, refused to have anything to do with him, and chose me over him. I mean, there he was this tall, viking warrior type dude and here I am, five foot ten, and scrawny. My mother used to say... before she passed, that my feet were the only thing that would hold me down in a strong breeze." With size twelve feet, it wasn't any wonder that such would seem the case. He was still scrawny and didn't quite seem to have grown into them.
A Blessed Devil: There was a bench close by that he had spotted, gravitating towards it without really thinking, and he took a seat. Crossing one knee over the other, he was contemplating how to respond to that. "The humans for years have been saying that large feet signifies large size in other areas. Perhaps this temoin was jealous of your...feet. Apparently you have many more attributes and that is why your lovely wife chose you instead of him. Ah, the shortcomings he must have had. In a way, he reminds me of Louis, stuck in an age that is no longer appropriate to the modern world and not giving anyone who adapts to it the benefit of the doubt. There was only a matter of time before even I saw change coming." :::
Alex Vipond: "He was Belle Morte, could not understand why she could resist his ... charms." Alex smirked. "I've a Houngan friend who made certain charms and amulets for her, blessed items that protected her from his mental manipulations. Too, I marked her as mine. That alone should have been enough to get him to lay off, but he didn't. Instead he sent his bitch maker after me, to seduce me." He shrugged. "I think it really pissed her off when I turned her down."
A Blessed Devil: "I have came across, over the years, many of our kind who had convinced themselves that they were superior to all others. I readily admit that I relished the thought of proving them wrong. Did you find joy in the fact that you were able to resist their advances? It must have infuriated him that she was human and had the capability of resisting. Not many have that power, even if they were in possession of charms and amulets." Now he took the time to laugh, he was learning to like Alex even more. :::
Alex Vipond: "It was in fact, a point of pride that we'd gotten over on him. Too that is why we have two anniversary dates. We slipped off to Vegas a month before our wedding to put the final nail in the proverbial coffin. For some reason, the bonds of marriage they were unwilling to break, even when they were willing to break vampire law in order to attain that which they wanted." He shrugged. "Frankly I think they were fucking psycho."
A Blessed Devil: "It does sound like it. And where are they now? No longer around, so you must have scared them off. Or someone else did. For all the boasting and bragging, they take their defeat and run with their proverbial tails between their legs." It was what usually happened when anyone didn't get what they wanted, but lucky for him, when he wanted something he took it and didn't stand for defeat. But that was the difference, he would not take that which did not belong to him. "Maybe one day Marius will make an appearance and he can regale us with tales about our mutual 'friend'." :::
Alex Vipond: "One day they were here, the next they were gone. Trust me when I say, I do not think anyone was remorseful over their departure. In fact if anything I think the counsel may well have had a hand in it. They had screwed the proverbial pooch, quite royally on more than one occasion." Alex settled to the bench beside Lestat, and it was reflex really, the way one leg draped over the other. It wasn't until he looked back at Lestat that he saw the similarity and smirked.
A Blessed Devil: To anyone walking past, human more than likely, they would assume two friends who had just happened to stop and take a rest on a bench, but anyone else might have sensed that there was something inhuman about them. Alex carried himself so much more professional than Lestat did, he had learned how to make himself more human but often he still let his judgement lapse. "This phrase...it means what?" he asked, hearing one that he was not familiar with, and Alex the teacher would have to explain to the student once more. :::
Alex Vipond: "Basically you've fucked things up to the point that the situation is completely hopeless and all your efforts to correct it were a waste of time, hence you may as well have screwed the pooch for all the effect you had on the situation." He shrugged. "They were entirely too full of themselves to not end up in a shit storm from the counsel. Frankly I would be surprised if they didn't have their fangs removed."
A Blessed Devil: "They could be just a pile of ash by now, and then they would have met the proper end. Though I am becoming more aware that there are many more things that I could learn from you. It is not often that I have asked anyone for help, as you might know, but consider this a small window of weakness on my part." People watching was a sport that he engaged in, though the bloodlust was very well contained for the moment so it was more just observation on his part. "Which of the immortals is in charge of the city, as they say? Or is it just a comunity?" :::
BIame The DeviI: Destroy Lestat? How could one be so ignorant to think she would even try? Such laughter would have arisen from her if she were there to hear it. No Lilith wasn`t stupid enough to do such a thing for she knew it wouldnt end in any sort of victory. About now she`d be taking her nightly stroll just to get out of the house and away from the choas Damien seemed to bring. Only pausing when she felt that said reach of a familar presence searching. It didnt take her too long to head off in the direction from which it came. No, she wasnt too terriably far either. It took only moments at the speed she was going yet she`d step out at a far distance to get a sense of what the hell she wasgetting herself into in the first place. Appearing shy though not concealing her presance as those ice blues peering over to the two sitting on the bench. One whom she was familar with the other. Why what do ya know. Such a sight had her smirking as she slowly walked towards them with her hands clasped behind her. Finially stopping to take a lean on one of the lightposts just toe of the two. Silent only because she didnt really want to interupt their convorsation that would be rude.
Alex Vipond: "There's a master of the city but he is in large part, an absentee manager. I do think Alea has her sights on his position," which could also explain the man's sudden disappearance. One brow rose as Alex contemplated that, and then he nodded toward the woman to indicate her presence to Lestat. "And there she is. Not Alea, Lilith." Being specific about which she would be a good thing.
A Blessed Devil: "I must meet this Alea, very soon. i do not believe that it would hurt to contact her, make my presence known. Or she could be aware that I am here already." His eyes were watching something out straight ahead but he knew that the woman was there and the fact that she was trying to be inconspicuous made her even more conspicuous. "She is one that has habit of popping up out of nowhere, is she not? Speaking of the devil, are we not?" :::
Alex Vipond: "Alea can usually be found at Trinity Nightclub. She owns it. As to whether or not she knows you're here, I am sure she may well have felt your presence but she's something of a diva and will wait for you to make yourself known." He glanced toward Lilith. "So it would seem."
BIame The DeviI: A nod back would be given to Alex. Flashing him a warm small smile in greeting before shifting her icy gaze over to Lestat. Momentarily pushing off her leaning place to move closer towards the bench just to try to bring some ease to any suspision they might have. " Hello Alex and Lestat is it? The infamous brat prince...I had almost thought my friend was lying when he got ear of you being in town, " she said keeping that little smile as she stopped in front of Alex. Giving him a brief little look before looking back to Lestat, " Mind if I sit? "
A Blessed Devil: A diva? Now that was someone that he could definitely identify with, even if he was a male version of that stereotype. Now the woman had his attention and it wasn't necessarily all warm and fuzzy radiating off of his stone cold body when he watched her. Violet eyes were piercing and it would be very uncomfortable for her even through that little smile on her face. "You are asking me if I am Lestat? I was under the impression that you would know this already. And which friend is this, pray tell? The demon that you refused to speak about me in front of/" Oh yes, he was well aware of that even if Alex hadn't mentioned it, but another silent thanks would go to his friend. He made a quick motion of his hand for her to sit if she wished, but by no means was that an invitation for Alex to leave. On the contrary. :::
Alex Vipond: Alex simply lifted a hand and let it fall once more to his lap, fingers lacing as he shifted in his seat to regard the woman who joined them on the bench. "Yes, just what friend informed you of this?" He was curious. Sue him.
BIame The DeviI: His peircing violet eyes sent a little chill down her spine. A look that brought little comfort yet she was kind of prepared for that for many reasons. Little sigh pushed past her lips as that smile faded upon taking her seat next to Alex. Leaning back to gain some comfort before answerng softly," You dont know him. He just knows of you as I just know of you. But if you must know his name is Damien..." she said, tearing her eyes away for the time being. " I simply just wanted to meet you. As any fan would. "
Jesse Reeves: One would have to wonder how someone was prepared for a look, from someone they'd never met, but stranger things had, perhaps happened. Jesse moved along the pier, the shops by and large ignored, it was the pair on the bench, now a trio, who held her interest. As the woman settled beside the pair, the red head in jeans closed in, rounding the bench and moving along behind it, one hand brushing Lestat's shoulder as she rounded the far and settled with the group.
A Blessed Devil: It had been ages since he had been in close contact with her, the last time that he had heard, she had been forever holed up in the jungles with Maharet. But the simple brush of the hand made him smile and he didn't even have tolook her way. "Now, if you were the one stalking me even again, Jesse, I would forgive such a grievous sin." He took her hand in such an old fashioned gentlemanly moment and kissed the top of it, his violet eyes piercing her own. "And still the hair of flame becomes you. Are you familiar with my friend Alex? He's quite the musician as well." :::
Alex Vipond: Alex smiled at Jesse, and then looked to Lestat. "We're acquainted. One of my many trips to Brazil." He smiled and looked back at Jesse. "Good to see you again." He looked back at Lilith. "This Damien, is he local?"
Jesse Reeves: "Family trait, Lestat, as you well know." She smiled to him, then shifted her attention to Alex. "Brazil it was. Seems you tend to have issues there, more than any other place. What was it last time? Something about being held hostage?"
Alex Vipond: "Mmm, yep." He nodded. "In my defense, I was not the only one being held, it was my entire band," his very human band, who knew nothing of his nature. "I didn't want to make a mess." He looked back at Lilith.
A Blessed Devil: "As I very well know, of course. But at least you still know how to smile, i was afraid your self contained exile might have robbed you of that quality.' She still had the ability to charm just about anyone, did she not? His attention was turned to Lilith but his own smile was rather stilted. "A fan, you say? That could be quite interesting, you have read the books and heard the music then?" He was curious as much as he was testing her, it was only on suggestion but like alex, he didn't let just anyone in. "But you should definitely share with me why you did not want this new love in your life to know that you were talking about me." :::
Jesse Reeves: "You know what they say. Exile is so five minutes ago..." She gave a roll of eyes, and then just grinned at him before her attention too went to the woman sitting with them, her expression losing all warmth and instead becoming quite studious.
BIame The DeviI: It was as simple as that. Lilith would even keep her mind open to him if he wished to read it. Honestly she had nothing to hide. Gaze drifted off to the red-head giving her a nod in greeting along with a smile before speaking. " Yes hes just visiting though..." she`d answer eyeing Alex before Lestat, " Of course and the reason why I had him leave was for Alex`s benifit I didnt know whether he knew what Demetrius was and even if he did. I wasnt sure if he felt hes just visiting though..." she`d answer eyeing Alex before Lestat, " Of course and the reason why I had him leave was for Alex`s benifit I didnt know whether he knew what Demetrius was and even if he did. I wasnt sure if he felt comfortable answering such a thing in front of him. I was trying to be polight. "
Alex Vipond: Jesse was, beyond doubt a very beautiful woman. One that her nature only enhanced. Alex smiled at her quip, but his attention too was on Lilith. What must it be like, for one of her years to be faced with the power of the three of them. Alex knew well the feeling of being in a room with those twice his age. In his case, those he faced had little love for him, and only refrained from trying to kill him because of the repercussions should they fail to do so. The memory of him facing Ivarr over the expanse of the elegant table in Sebastian's underground lair caused his lips to twitch upward in no small amount of amusement. Ivarr had expected him to be cowed. Alex had been anything but. "My benefit?" This truly amused Alex and that was clear in his expression. “ Just how would that be beneficial to me? What he is, holds no bearing on the conversation had. If anything, it was to your benefit to send him away. It made no difference to me, what so ever."
A Blessed Devil: It would have been rude to ignore Lilith, seeing as how she was a fan and all, but her words confused him and he looked back and forth between Jesse and Alex before he looked at her again. Focusing on her, if she was going to leave her mind as an open book, then he would read every page whether she allowed it or not. "My dear, might I say that your cloaking skills are a dreadful mess. If I look at you just this way, are you sure that you would like to stick to that story? Perhaps you did not want Demetrius to know how much I interest you. Do I interest you now?" he asked slowly, almost purring as he leaned in even closer and let that aura grip and twist at her. :::
Jesse Reeves: "So you sought to spare Alex's feelings, shelter him, as if he were a child." Was that really what she was inferring? It did seem to be. Jesse looked from the woman to Alex, who did seem to find the situation amusing. She then looked to Lestat as he questioned her as well.
BIame The DeviI: Alexs comment hit a nerve. Such a nerve that her eyes would narrow slightly as she looked at him. Shaking her head as patience thinned, " I see that was a error on my part then. However Demetrius could hear every word so honestly really it didnt matter if I sent him off or not. It was to make you feel at ease which obviously didnt seem to do any good, " she shrugged shaking off her look as she attempted to keep her temper in check. Once Lestat spoke she merely looked at him quirking a brow as he spoke. Lilith wasnt cloaking anything so yes her cloaking skills would seem to be a dreadful mess. Instead of talking back though she`d respond with a wolfish grin, " Demetrius already knows....he knew far before I ever spoke to Alex about it, " she`d say this snickering afterwards. Leaning boldly closer as he did to lock eyes as she felt his aura gripping..." Let me ask you this...Lestat. Why would I lie? What motive to you think I have? Seriously. " her tone was calm as her eyes were unflinching.
Alex Vipond: "I had no need to be put at ease and frankly see no reason why you should have come to that conclusion." Alex leaned back, elbows propped on the back rest of the bench, legs kicked out before him and crossed at the ankle. "Seriously, had you done anything to piss me off, I would have snapped your neck, and carried you out like a drunk; then let your demon friend take you home to sleep it off." He shrugged. "It takes a lot to piss me off though."
Jesse Reeves: "Why does anyone lie? Because they can. Some are pathological about it." Jesse let out a breath, and then looked back at Alex. "I think she has a crush, and didn't want her demon lover to know about it. Five bucks says I'm right..." She nodded.
A Blessed Devil: He didn't have to look at Jesse and Alex, in fact it would be better if he didn't, for as his eyes locked on hers even harder, his pale white hand came to rest on the back of her neck and began to squeeze slowly with a grip that could snap it if he merely thought about it. "I believe that you would lie about it, because deep down in that black heart of yours, you know that you are not nearly as sneaky as you might think. My darling, Lilith, I have been around long enough to know well when a person, whatever they are, has ulterior motives. Though I do believe dear Jesse is correct in her assumption. I might have let you off easy had you just been honest with me." On his face was a smirk, one that would lead the other immortals in the group to know that he was about to be up to his dastardly deeds once more. :::
Alex Vipond: "Lestat.... We are in public, do remember." Alex looked from the pair to the crowd milling about to see if any were paying any undue attention. "I do think a broken neck, or worse at this point would not be conducive to our continued wellbeing."
BIame The DeviI: It would have been so much easier if Demetrius was here. Because none of them seemed to believe her the simple question of why seemed to ring in her head. Though it was silenced as soon as Lestats hand rested on the back of her neck squeezing slowly with the amount of pressure that sent pain enough to get her attention. Cat-like eyes winced abit to it yet never left his, " I am being honest with you. Answer me what evil plan do you think I must be conjuring?
Jesse Reeves: "Alex is right, Lestat. Now is not the time to prove a point." Jesse looked over to him, green eyes on the brilliant hue of his own. "Please." Jesse looked over at Lilith. "For a woman who was so eager to make his acquaintance that you approached someone else in regard to him, someone you had no way of knowing as to whether or not he even knew Lestat, you are curiously absent of any logical reasoning for it." Yes, she'd gone from pleading with Lestat to not snap Lilith’s neck here in public to putting the screws to her, in 2.1.
A Blessed Devil: He had drowned out the outside noise, it was like survival mode all over again, except this time there were no wolves threatening to kill him. He knew she was feeling pain, it was radiating off of her, and yes, he had been so very close to snapping her neck and ripping out her vocal chords. But Alex had a voice of reason and that reason broke through the confines of the haze he was in, introducing reason with Jesse following along. "If you wish," he said, in a voice so flat and dull he sounded almost bored. The hold released on her neck and she would not see his hand fall into his lap but it did and then the spell was broken. "Evil plan? Young one, i do not believe you are wise enough to cast an evil plan upon me. I just despise liars, because I see no reason to hide your true meaning." He stood at once, turning away from all of them for a moment, it was his way of releasing those demons that were threatening to erupt. ;;;
Alex Vipond: Alex was still watching the crowd, making sure that they were not on the receiving end of any undue attention. Anyone that seemed to be giving them more than a passing glance was swiftly dealt with. A quick suggestion planted. These are not the droids you are looking for. Nothing to see here, move along...
Jesse Reeves: Jesse rose and moved to Lestat's side, one hand placed gently on his arm in a soothing gesture. She said nothing, simply stood next to him, her only movement, that of the red flag of her hair stirring in the breeze. Otherwise she could well have been a statue, so still was she.
BIame The DeviI: Plead? Ha! Lilith did not plead. Anger now raged as comments reigned their sounds but a distant blurb as the very emotion lit up in her locked stare. Such emotion that yes was mixed with pain but she was hardly pleading. It was mere reasoning. She had nothing to hide from Demetrius nor from anyone else. At the very moment she didnt even know she was holding her breath until it was let out by a soft growl. Not directed really at anyone in particular as Lestat finially let his hold on her go. Leaving her trembling slightly as she followed his movement up with her eyes even as he broke the spell. Uneasy she would not speak nor move for the time being. Thats until he finished speaking, " And what is my true meaning then? If you know it! Please enlighten me cause I fail to see what your seeing. All this talk of ulterior motives....lies....why would I come to you knowing you could strip me of deception so easily? Im not a fool Lestat but like I said pray tell me.. "
A Blessed Devil: Alex would not have to say a word, the two could reach each other through the mind and Jesse's touch was soothing in a way that he needed. For all the pride in himself about the self control that he had built up, it had almost shattered into the wind over one vampire who was mentally and physically beneath him. He had no time or patience right then to deal with one who felt like playing games and he would venture to guess that neither Alex or Jesse would argue the point. "Jesse, beautiful Jesse, I bid you adieu and we will speak again soon." He kissed either side of her lips briefly and he turned to Alex with a softened look. "My friend, you have my sincere apologies for ruining this evening, but we shall continue our conversation soon." But one last message, and he leaned in briefly and pinned Lilith to the bench like a lover embracing his own. "You, lovely Lilith, have been given the gift of life. Next time, you shall not be so lucky." Then he was gone, simply in the blink of an eye, like he was never there. :::
Jesse Reeves: "Flatterer." She smiled all the same, the tender gesture appreciated. She then looked to Alex. "His exits are as his entrances." She moved to Alex's side and then looked to Lilith. "Not exactly as you had hoped, no doubt."
Alex Vipond: With Lestat's abrupt exit, Alex shook his head, as if to clear the dust from the sudden departure and then he was chuckling at Jesse. "I'll have to start calling him Speedy Gonzales." As Jesse addressed Lilith, Alex's attention followed to the woman.
BIame The DeviI: This was retarded, redundant, and honestly she too ran out of patience. A shudder was given as soon as she found herself pinned by him and she`d glare back defiantly. Not uttering a word as he dissapeared like a ghost. Yet only then did she finially see clearly to what was going on here. As if a veil had been lifted she hit clarity which turned her glaring gaze to Alex. Obviously he had to have told him about the occurance with Dean or someone had. Which was yes a assumtion but why else wouldnt she be trusted? She had done nothing but that she could recall in this town. A lesson she learned from that very night and it should have died that night. There was no use in arguing this point. If she wanted to fucking hurt anyone she wouldnt have agrued. She would have fuckin done it....if she had a secret crush like they so thought she wouldnt have even asked to arrange a meeting through Alex either. Taking a deep breath in her eyes turned quickly on Jesse before she spoke, " You all are fools, " a hurt angry tone she`d use. Trying to recover and collect herself for the time being as she shook her head tearing her eyes away.
Jesse Reeves: "We? It's you who can't seem to decide whether or not to play coy. Don't blame others for your own shortcomings. All you had to do was be up front and honest with him, and you failed in that, and pissed him off in the process. Don't blame us for your lack of sincerity."
Alex Vipond: "Don't look at me in that tone of voice." Alex shook his head at her. "You stepped on it, not me. You came off last night like you knew a hell of a lot more than you displayed here tonight. That is not my fault. You want to blame someone, go look in a mirror." He looked at Jesse. "I gotta get home. It's late. Catch you later?"
Jesse Reeves: Jesse smiled and nodded. "I'll stalk you later." She smirked. "Maybe even chase you into the men's room." She gave him a kiss to either cheek and the headed back up the pier. She'd not asked Lestat where he was staying, but really she didn't have to. She knew how to find him.
Alex Vipond: Alex smiled and headed back to the lot himself. It was well past time to get home.
