Condemned Legacy: Uriah lingered in place. Stared after Lux until she was gone and then, moved on down the stairs to hop into the passenger side of Alex's murdered out Benz. That was going to lose to his Lexus LFA. Soon. –d
Placenia Hosea: He's not musketeer, but Alex was a neat fellow whose charisa maybe higher than his own. If he talked there was probably thirty or more words relating to Hitler. Go figure. Looking to the new guy who he didn't know yet, this one he made a brief introduction. "We have not met. Another of Alex's friends?" Slightly canting his head, he almost forgot that Jeffrey was still in the church so headed in there first. "Jeffrey, go on home. I'll be there soon" Jeffrey got up, walked outside, the man was very loyal to Hosea as their connection showed from long ago. His Spanish in coherent with his, both switching to Spanish from their English dialect then went back to the men who looked forward to this place, the Grumpy Gator? "Grumpy Gator? I should really get out more often. All them books and scrolls, journals.." A brainiac one was going to give off hints that he could have went to Ivy League, but instead he hadn't and went somewhere else for his educational needs. (d)
Alex Vipond: In his dreams. Better enjoy them while he could. Alex waited until Uriah was in and buckled up, and then he pulled from the curb. As soon as they were out of the city limits, Alex opened her up, and he didn't slow down; not one lick. He moved through what traffic there was on the highway like a wraith. Alex had driven the Autobhan, more times than he could count, and he pushed the car to its limits just as he had then, on a road where slow people got ran off the road. Alex wasn't going to make excuses later when they raced and he wanted to make damned sure Uriah knew what he was in for. Alex's visual acuity was off the charts, compared to that of a human, and his reflexes were lightning fast. As they came up on the bar, Alex slowed, but he didn't brake. He let off the gas, downshifted, then hit the brakes as he cranked the wheel and the car slid sideways, making the turn into the lot. Gravel flew as he rolled in, and spun the car around and into a parking space. Dust billowed up around the car and yes, he would have to have it detailed, but that was something he did on a regular basis anyway. He killed the engine, looked over at Uriah, chewing that ever present piece of Doublemint and grinning. "Keep talking smack, Old Chap." Alex grinned, and pulled his door open. The dust had yet to settle and he waved a hand in front of his face as he closed his door.
Condemned Legacy: "Save it for the race you ole man." he replied with a smirk. If his intention of doing all that had been to try and scare Uriah, it hadn't worked. If anything, he had enjoyed the ride. Why? Uriah liked speed. Liked hugging the curves too. (Roads and women, but roads in this case.) And once the car finally came to a stop, Uriah grinned over at him before sliding out of his seat. The door was shut behind him and he rounded the Benz, following Alex into the bar. "At least a charity or two will benefit from this lil wager of ours, eh mate?" he said with a shit eating grin. "Come on... let’s go and enjoy our bender, yeah?" Once they reached the door, Uriah's hand came to Alx's shoulder, all chummy like. "Just... no more talk of you and your wife... yeah? I'm trying to be a good man..." –d
A Spirited Scion: After taking care of clean up inside the bar last night then getting some needed sleep, restless as the sleep had been, Callie had spent much of the day away from the bar. Out on her own, a walk through the park, a walk in the mall as well. When hunger struck and it started to get late, she'd made her way home, took another shower, dressed for a night of tending bar, which meant a Grumpy Gator shirt instead of a normal shirt to go along with the boots and jeans. Whenever the guys made it inside, Callie was sitting on a pool table, eating a grilled cheese sandwich, watching television. (d)
Alex Vipond: "I will refrain from regaling you with tales of our sexcapades." He couldn't keep from looking up toward the roof of the bar though as they headed for the door, a smirk touching his lips and then he was pressing inward through them, and making way for the bar. A drink was to be had and forthwith! A glance around showed him Callie on her green felt perch. "Hey there, Callie!"
Placenia Hosea: Because Jeffrey was too tired to be driving anymore, there was that call to a second driver who was a middle aged human who stepped on the gas going as fast as he could. Now, driving dangerously was a passion he sometimes loved to live on the edge knowing that anytime from today and tomorrow his remains will be somewhere, but he was smiling while the driver followed in step to Alex's vehicle. Didn't know Alex drove a car..other than himself? Not to mention who'd have guessed that more of the undead variety operated machines. Some wouldn't dare touch this kind of thing. Parking in the an opened space, his new driver from the one earlier opened the door of the back seat. Hosea's six ftframe exited the car entering a lively business. His hazel pools swept across the room mostly to witness so much to do around here. Very much. Is this what it was like to live even for a little bit? He saw Alex standing with the guy he saw at the church. They were here so walked where Alex was with a female the two was having a conversation with. The girl was no one he knew as of yet, but he was willing to start becoming social around Seattle. It's either that or be stuck reading more chapters of historical text. Do that too long and one could find that it wasn't healthy, not even for him. (d)
Condemned Legacy: Once inside, Uriah gave a glance about and gaze settled on Callie. "Evening Callie." Nod and smile given. Yes, Uriah was in a pretty good mood. Might get sauced tonight. He did have a driver after all. –d
A Spirited Scion: The green felt perch was one of her favorites. There will eventually be a Callie butt print on it that won't come off. Seeing Alex and Uriah walk in, her hand lifted in a wave to the dynamic duo as she slid down to her feet. "Hey: guys!" She carried her plate behind the bar, putting it up in the serving window before washing her hands. "How are you two? Oh, Alex, I have those two checks ready for you, too." (d)
broken epoch: Adam was driving the speed limit. And he pulled into the lot with his shiny black '77 Chevy Nova. Putting the car in park, he leaned back in his seat for a bit. Rubbed his eyes with his palms, then stepped out and headed inside. –d
Condemned Legacy: "How are you luv?" He asked Callie as they made it to the bar. "And can we gets a couple rounds of scotch here?" he asked as he did a roundabout little diddly with his finger to indicate himself and Alex. "Busy tonight?" he asked, making small chit chat. –d
Alex Vipond: Well driving wasn't exactly rocket science and Alex had actually been doing it for a number of years. Henry Ford was an acquaintance. Those were the days. Racing along at twenty miles an hour with bugs in your teeth.... Whoo whee! Alex took up a lean against the bar, grinning at Callie. "Cool. I will take them off your hands and send them along with the rest of the proceeds." As Hosea arrived, Alex gave him a nod and then there was Adam following him in. Another nod was given. Pretty soon it will be Bobble Head Alex.
A Spirited Scion: Callie smiled at Uriah. "I'm good. Not busy so far tonight." The other man had been noted as he approached Alex and Uriah. "Evening, sir. Welcome to the Gator." Adam got a wave for a greeting before she moved to fetch glasses and the bottle of Scotch. "Feeling alright tonight, Adam?" Two glasses were filled with about three fingers worth. She left them there for each man to take when he was ready. The bottle moved back to the counter, she reached into the cooler to dig out a Heineken for Adam. Cap popped off, she set the bottle down for him. (d)
Placenia Hosea: Oh sure. He knows that driving wasn't rocket science, but some of those who actually assumed the undead kind didn't do anything that means. Then again, that was for only half of their population of their species you could say. That wasn't always, but few of them did know around the cellphone for instance. His was just inside a leather cover hanging on the right of his waist, his wallet on him in case he thought he may need it anywhere he went cause in this world money was no object. "Thank you, miss. It's a nice very nice place you got here." Turning to look at the new arrival, someone who he didn't know he gave a nod in greeting to. (d)
broken epoch: Adam nodded too, "Evenin' fellas." He said as he walked through to the bar, giving wave and a smile to Callie. "Callie." He was wearing his usual, cowboy boots, jeans and a t-shirt. A little scruff on his face. "I'm feeling alright. How are you? How's Seija?" -d-
Condemned Legacy: "Thanks doll." he said to Callie and cast a friendly wink to her. He reached for his glass and lifted it for a swallow. Glance over his shoulder to the Spainard. Uriah just sorta scowled. A little. Yeah, he didn't get good vibes there for whatever reasons. Maybe his senses were a little off or something. Who knew. Glance to the other guy who he had seen here a few times. (Adam) Uriah gave the man an up nod of acknowledgement. –d
A Spirited Scion: "I'm fine, thanks. So far as I know, Seija is fine too. " Callie hadn't seen Seija since last night. There wasn't a long texting session either, which was odd, but not worrisome. She nudged the beer closer to Adam then retreated walking back over to where the three of them were. "Thanks. I appreciate that." A smile offered to the unfamiliar one. "What can I get you?" (d)
Alex Vipond: Hosea needed to start hanging out with a better class of vamp. Alex didn't know any bassackward, techno retards. Taking up his scotch he nodded his thanks. "Run a tab, will you Callie." he pulled his wallet and slid his black Amex over, before he looked back at Adam. "You know, you look awfully familiar. Like I know you from somewhere else."
broken epoch: "Good. Glad to hear it." He picked up the beer for a sip and pulled his phone out of his pocket while the others talked among themselves. Flipping through messages. Texting here and there. Then he was being addressed to he looked up to see Alex, "Oh? I've been here a few times..." He'd seen Alex around... -d-
Alex Vipond: "Yeah but that's not it...." He shook his head. "It'll come to me." Lifting his glass he took a drink, then looked around. "I was wrecked by the time we left last night. So damned tired." He shook his head.
Condemned Legacy: "Heard you did good though, right?" Glance to Callie then to see if she'd confirm the rumor. No, not the one where he was on the bloody roof with his wife. –d
A Spirited Scion: She took Alex's card, moved it off to be run later on, then nodded To Uriah in answer. "He was great. Rather than work for a while I was outside with the crowd. It was fun." She grabbed those two checks, which were from her own account instead of the bar's. For Donate Life, the check was for three thousand. For the Michael J. Fox Foundation the amount was for two thousand. She set them down for Alex to take whenever he was ready. (d)
broken epoch: Adam shrugged. This wasn't the first time he was told he looked like someone else. Heck Efi confused him with someone last night. He sipped his beer then went back to his phone. -d-
Alex Vipond: "We killed it." Alex nodded. "The crowd was really into it, we had a blast." He was great on the roof, too though. "Thanks, Callie. We really appreciate this." He smiled and took up the checks, folding them over and tucking them safely into his inner jacket pocket. "Dont' forget your donations are tax deductible."
Condemned Legacy: Uriah nodded and smiled to Callie since she confirmed and then said she was basically being a lazy tender. "Slacker." he teased before taking another swallow of his drink. "Well, I'm sorry I missed it, maybe next show. Whenever that is and for whatever reason." he added. –d
Seija Naris: Seija had been asleep all day. Alllll dayyyy... And now her sleep schedule was even more messed up! She stirred in Derrick's bed and rolled to her side, peeking blue eyes from beneath the sheets which she'd pulled all the way up to her nose. –d
Placenia Hosea: A slight turn of his head to notice the girl who owns or works here, it's one of those two. He smiled at the woman who was doing what any worker of a business did, it's good knowing that doing what you're good at is a bonus no nethless. Because he didn't know her the way these two did, he kept silent knowing where he was. A glance at the new female who wandered in, then turned to look at both Alex then the one who was his friend. The lady he assumed must be a significant other to Alex's ally. As for expecting anyone to trust someone like him, he liked it that way, didn't really care about who liked him or didn't. For someone who came from a surrounding where he didn't often accumulate many friendships from such a life he once had that put him in this thanks to how his late father raised such a brillant son. A son who he made sure that his mind was sharper than what he could do with other attributes. His hands empty he thought it be appropriate to order something off the menu. "Can I get a brandy?" A faint smile to the woman who he heard earlier, Callie. He turned his head to hear the guy Adam talking the woman. (d)
Alex Vipond: Efi could confuse herself with someone else. Don't feel bad.
Seija Naris: (Ha!)
broken epoch: Adam lifted his blue-gray eyes to regard Callie, "Know of any motels or hotels in the area that have good security..?" Odd question, but these were odd times. "I think my room was broken into last night." -d-
Alex Vipond: "Was anything taken?" Alex sipped his scotch and looked back over at Adam. "Call the cops?" Yeah, probably not a lot of luck there.
Condemned Legacy: Alex's Ally doesn't have a significant other. He called Callie Luv and Doll, as a general and friendly endearment. Uriah sipped his scotch quietly, simply listening. –d
broken epoch: "No, the door was just busted open. I guess they didn't find anything they wanted so left. Doesn't give a guy a pleasant feeling, though." Beer was sipped. "Cops came. Nobody saw anything. Place doesn't even have security cameras." Talk about cheap! -d-
Faith on a Steek: The office door came open and Derrick came walking out. He was in his usual attire.. He made his way over behind the bar to dig out a bottle of water.. He heard the man at the bar ask for a brandy. So he put the bottle of water down, picked up a brandy glass, then a bottle of Brandy de Jerez, pouring half a glass, then a napkin was sat on the bar, and that glass on top. " Six bucks. " .. Bottle was put back.-d-
Condemned Legacy: Uriah finished off the glass and helped himself to another, since Callie left the bottle there for he and Alex. (I think?) Otherwise, he'd have to wait his turn and signal to Callie. –d
Alex Vipond: "I'd move if I were you." Alex nodded. "And just because they didn't take anything, doesn't mean they didn't leave anything." He shrugged.
broken epoch: Adam gave Derrick a nod, lifting his beer to the man, "Evening, Derrick." Then looked back to Alex. "...Precisely why I was asking Callie for suggestions." -d-
Condemned Legacy: "Mistaken identity." Uriah said to Alex and Adam. "The perpetrator made a mistake. Looked around, but since you kept your valuable with you, they moved on." Uriah said casually as he toyed with the glass a moment. How'd he know?
A Spirited Scion: "I don't know of any places that have good security." She'd never stayed in a hotel here to know. "Sorry that happened, Adam. It sucks." (d)
Condemned Legacy: Uriah had connections. To the dead. And the dead often wandered the streets like homeless people. Searching. Seeking. –d
Faith on a Steek: "More than likley Mathlie " He said to Adam, as he reached over for his bottle of water again to open it. -d-
broken epoch: He glanced over at Uriah and thought, then nodded. "...You're probably right." Then back to Callie, "Thanks anyway, doll. I'll go looking later tonight. Got everything packed in the car now." Shrugging, he took another sip of his beer. At Derrick's suggestion he looked up again, "Why's that?" "He still thinks I'm working for him.." -d-
A Spirited Scion: "Are you?" She glanced over to Adam, moving to grab that bottle of Scotch to refill for Uriah and Alex. (d)
Faith on a Steek: "Been using you from the start. And he more than likely knows if you are working for him or not.. he has information. Are you still working for him?" -d-
broken epoch: "Technically.. yes. I was never fired.. and I tried to quit and he wouldn't let me cancel the contract... but seeing as I spent most of the weekend either in the hospital or moving my things around.. i haven't really done any work." Pause. "I should probably report something to him tonight." -d-
Alex Vipond: Good question. Enquiring minds want to know. Even Alex looked over at Adam at that one. He nodded his thanks to Callie for the refill. "Why if you want to quit?"
broken epoch: He looked over at Adam. "Contracts are contracts for a reason." -d-
Condemned Legacy: Uriah's phone went off and there came a string of British cursing that was mumbled under his breath. The phone was pulled from the vest pocket. A few nods were made. He gave a reply here and there and then sighed. He ended the call and took the freshly poured drink, downed it and left the empty glass on the counter. "I'm going to catch a bloody cab Alex. I have to get back to the Pool Hall. Seems someone tried to break in. Again. I need to get with this Krystal you spoke of." he replied. "I'll give you a ring later. Update you." He laid a few bills on the bar and slid them toward Callie. "I intend to, mate, this is getting to be a bleeding headache... " He gave a nod and wave to all. He then pulled his phone out again, dialing the cab company and headed outside. -d
broken epoch: "Anyway. He hasn't contacted me since the meeting with Castiel. So I'm not really sure what's going on." -d-
Faith on a Steek: "yeah but when you’re being used to screw someone’s life up, should you keep with them?" -d-
Alex Vipond: "Dude, you really need a new security system. I told you to contact Krystal." Alex looked over at Uriah and shook his head.
Faith on a Steek: He took his water and headed back to his office.. Door shut behind him .-d-
broken epoch: He looked to Derrick, "It was Seija that suggested I keep working with him. She said it would probably be safer that way. For now, anyway.", but then he was gone. -d-
Alex Vipond: "And it's hell on your Home Depot card."
broken epoch: He gave a wave to Uriah then sipped his beer again before looking back to Callie. "So.. I'm sorry, but I thought you were aware that I was still technically employed by Jones. Er.. Mathlai.." -d-
A Spirited Scion: "Seija was probably right, Adam. It is most likely the safest thing for you to do. Has he wanted you to do anything since the other day?" (d)
broken epoch: He set his beer down, resting his wrists on the counter. "He sent me a message shortly after meeting Castiel and said that the job wasn't finished so I had to keep looking. That was the last I heard. And as our working relationship has been up until now, I send him updates. He confirms it and waits." -d-
Alex Vipond: "And what sort of updates do you send? What sort of information is he looking for?"
A Spirited Scion: "How was it not finished? Castiel said he destroyed the staff. He's after something else now?" (d)
Seija Naris: Seija finally emerged from the office, blonde hair though a bit ruffled still looked nice falling around her shoulders. She wore a white t-shirt and a pair of shorts, bare feet tapping against the floor as she made her way behind the bar. She looked well rested, especially compared to last night. Bright blue eyes regarded each individually, giving a smile as she went for a bottle of water and twisted off the cap, listening to the conversation. –d
Alex Vipond: "There you go." Alex smiled as she made her appearance. "Feeling better?"
broken epoch: "He didn't explain how it wasn't finished. That's literally all it said. Want to see the email?" He pulled out his phone. Then looked to Alex, "I tell him my progress. I'll probably have to make something up for the next one.." Eyes cut to Seija as she walked in and he smiled softly to her, "You look much better than yesterday..." -d-
Seija Naris: She heard the last bit of their conversation but smiled to Alex. "Much. Thank you." Then Adam, she nodded again. "Thank you. You as well." –d
Alex Vipond: Alex nodded and leaned to look. "The question is, this dude seems to know everything, right? So... how is going to not know what you send is made up? I mean for all we know, he could be tapped into the security feeds and watching everything we're doing, right now."
broken epoch: He raised an eyebrow, then furrowed them. "....That's a good question... I didn't think of that." -d-
A Spirited Scion: Callie reached for Adam's phone so she could look over the email. She smiled over to Seija. "Want something to eat or drink?" (d)
Placenia Hosea: Does he have a competition with another someone whose intelligence reached his own? If this is true then part of him wanted to go meet this dude while he couldn't help catch what Alex was getting at.
broken epoch: The email read exactly what Adam said: Coullain, the meeting did not go well. The job isn't finished. Resume your work and report your progress to me. -d-
A Spirited Scion: If she could do so very discreetly, she'd be looking at everything. Though, in order to play that off, she didn't move far from Adam. (d)
Alex Vipond: "So what kind of information is he looking for you to send him? I mean Castiel was the end of the road so... Where does he expect you to go from there?"
broken epoch: Also. Note the email address. JonesyLovesChachi@gmail.com. Mathlai has a sense of humor.. He'd take the phone back after a reasonable enough time for her to read the short message. Nosey Callie! -d-
Placenia Hosea: He's not musketeer, but Alex was a neat fellow whose charisa maybe higher than his own. If he talked there was probably thirty or more words relating to Hitler. Go figure. Looking to the new guy who he didn't know yet, this one he made a brief introduction. "We have not met. Another of Alex's friends?" "Run a tab, will you Callie." he pulled his wallet and slid his black Amex over, before he looked back at Adam.
