Terri x Kurai: So she should have clarified that he look later, but that could be addressed later. Once catching sight of him in her rear view, Terri shifted into gear and drove off in the direction for the club. Not that it would be too long of a drive - a little further inland just on the outskirts of the downtown. She pulled into a lot across the street from what looked like an old brick Cathedral complete with stained glass windows yet there was a line outside down the steps that led inside. The irony of using a gutted out church for the house of a nightclub was always amusing to Terri, it hadn't been her idea either. Rather, the brain child of those who Sired her then left her. Car parked, she climbed out and locked the doors up - a little chirp being made as the alarm was turned on. She didn't trust anyone messing with the old beauty. Alex Vipond: Alex pulled in nearby, and slid out, taking a look at the place, then opened the back door and pulled his jacket out. At least some semblance of propriety should be made. Slipping the suit jacket on, he shoved the sleeves up almost to his elbows and then closed the doors, hitting the button twice to lock and set the alarm as he moved to follow her in. Face it, he had well over a quarter mil in that car, between the list price and the modifications made to it. If someone stole it, he'd be pissed. Terri x Kurai: "It's was completely gutted out years ago, so nothing's left to cause unimaginable pain." She announced when walking over to him. The line of people were prevented from coming in by a security guard standing by a length of red velvet rope. From the stained glass windows there were dancing shadows and basically the technicolored rainbow from the lights within. Outside he could hear the muffled sounds of a live band already playing - and despite any hearing, it would still be muffled just because that was the kind of expense Terri put into the place. Human wise, the only time they would hear the deafening decibels would be from the doors opening in closing as people were granted entrance or they left for one reason or another. Alex Vipond: "Yeah, I don't have issue with that." An oddity he was, to be certain, but as it was, he actually went to church, at least once a year, to light a candle for friends who died a cold February morning in 1959. "It looks good." Crossing the street to the place, he didn't bother with the line, just headed straight for security manning the door. Terri x Kurai: Well, he wouldn't have to bother with security regardless since she was inviting him in. The guard, spotting Terri - which she gave a nod back to Alex as a sign for the guard to let him in also - unhooked the rope so they could get through. Of course, when some in the line caught sight of him, there'd likely be some squeals and shrieks. And a sudden wave of fans to swarm the security guard - thankfully he could handle it long enough for them to get inside and Terri to send two others out there to help him - less Alex decided to do something else entirely. Alex Vipond: Alex would wait until the screamers were inside to start signing. It would at least give him enough time to get a good look at the place. Unless there were some already inside. He was in the habit, fortunately or unfortunately, of carrying a Sharpie with him wherever he went. One never knew. He did wave at the fans as he stepped inside, and then he was checking the place out. Terri x Kurai: "Aren't there days you just want a break from all that?" She asked once inside the club - though in a sort of foyer before actually heading in through another set of doors. There were roughly four floors to the club and on each their own bar. The first floor having the largest dance floor with an industrial or rave-like feel to it. There were even hanging cages where - not strippers - but still provocative dancers reigned. To the immediate right there was a set of stairs that led to the second loft-like floor where a black metal railing kept people from falling down into the crowd below. On this level were a few tables and chairs, enough to seat four to six to each table, and the most prominent feature on the second floor being the tattoo parlor to the right. To the left was more stairs leading to the third floor, the fourth above that being a VIP lounge. The largest bar was on the first floor, but it was also the most crowded. Terri led the way up the stairs and motioned to the smaller bar where a particularly busty tender was serving drinks with some fancy moves wearing black leggings and a corset to just enhance those traits. "That's Geri, tell her what you want and that I said no charge." Unless he wanted a tour of the parlor of course. Alex Vipond: "I get away from it. It's not constant, fortunately but I have places to escape to. A house on the lake, a place in a little town in Italy." Alex followed her up, and when she directed him to Geri and the bar, he nodded, and wandered toward the bar. "And what are you having?" Taking up a lean there, he looked over at Geri, "Glenmorangie, neat, three fingers, on Terri who wants...." And then he was looking back toward Terri. A double take was given and he looked back at Geri, one brow rising and then he was looking anywhere but at her. One hand lifted and slid through his hair, fussing with it a bit as he tended to do when he got nervous. Terri x Kurai: Before the thought of disappearing into the parlor even came to mind, she heard Alex and started to raise a hand to wave it off, but when seeing his reaction to Geri, she couldn't resist. The tender certainly seemed to notice as well... she was the favorite at the club for obvious reasons. Pouring Alex the requested drink she'd pass it to him then lean on the counter just a bit. "Anything else sweetie?" Her voice having that seductive, raspy sort of tone believe it or not was her normal voice too, so it wasn't like she was flirting that much. "Give her an hour and in the VIP lounge Geri here does body shots." Terri said nonchalantly, looking at the woman with a chuckle before giving the tender's shoulder a playful nudge. "The usual Ger... and leave 'im alone." Alex Vipond: "My wife's body shots are all I need," he smiled at Geri, "thanks, though." He looked back at Terri. And gave her a nod of thanks, because Dayum. That woman's breasts went on for hours and from the look of them, they were real. Motorboat anyone? Not looking, by the way. Nope. Terri x Kurai: Terri couldn't help a laugh to his response before Geri set an opaque bottle in front of her from which Terri took a long swig before giving a nod toward the tattoo parlor. "That's Monster's Ink... only open when the club is..." Which, of course, was at night. One might think that there was no way anyone would think of getting a tattoo at night. But you would be surprised how many people decided at the end of the day they just wanted some ink. Alex Vipond: Not all that surprising, since Alex had most of his work done at night, at least on the large one. That shit had taken not just hours, but days to complete. And did we mention it hurt like a bitch?"I'll have to check it out some time. I think my fleur de lis may need a touch up."

Terri x Kurai: It wasn't particularly dark outside, being early in the evening yet, but when you were able to be shielded from the accursed rays of the sun, one could manage. Club Eros wasn't open yet, it usually didn't for another hour or two, however those with special permission were often granted early access. Mostly this granted to guests of employees or, if it was a night of live performance, then the band and their guests, so the amount of people inside were scarce. Terri was seated at the first floor bar, blackout curtains kept any light from coming in until opening. Little lights were on here and there making it easy for the humans within to see easy enough. Terri was seated at the end of said bar, avoiding everyone, a glass of crimson in front of her while hand cupped her forehead and other arm propped up on the bar top, her body otherwise hunched over. She wore a long black maxi skirt with a long sleeved fishnet shirt and a halter-top underneath it. Her short hair, black as always, had the front dyed white this time rather than red. Stifling a yawn, she looked up as an older male approached and spoke quietly to her, making her turn to look at the stage as a small group just finished setting up. "Alright, alright... let’s hear it boys." She called, another yawn given before taking a drink from her glass on the bar. Alex Vipond: Alex was checking out local venues, since it had been almost a damned year since he'd done so, and if he was going to stay home next year, he would need some local gigs. Either that or he'd be doing some StageIt shows from the studio. Or both. The newest place to catch his attention was Club Eros, and Alex parked that murdered out Benz in the lot and headed inside. Despite the 73 degree weather, he was wearing a denim jacket along with his ripped to the point of being Holy jeans, over the top of his gray t-shirt with the black detailing that read: I'm not saying I'm Batman, I'm just saying no one has ever seen me and Batman in a room together. It was either that one, or the black one that read: I only sparkle at night. It had been a tough decision, but Batman had won out. Stepping inside, he dragged his hand through his hair and gave the place a look around. Terri x Kurai: If he had come in with the sparkle shirt, it likely would have been shown the door. If there was one vampire flick that Terri despised with a passion, it was Twilight. She often threatened to throttle the author of the series and with how she said it, one could believe she really would if ever given the opportunity! She was leaning back on the bar with elbows propped up on top and her drink in left hand, occasionally being lifted to those pierced lips for a drink and lowered again. The group currently onstage was the main show - local band who was slowly getting out of the 'garage stage' - though they were co-showing with another band who was still in the 'garage' stage. The heel of boot was lightly tapping the rung of the stool sat in, to the beat of the song - they were doing a NIN cover and, admittedly, they weren't too bad. Piercing blue eyes shifted when seeing the doors open and close, a quick glance toa small clock behind the bar was given before rising again - and reading the t-shirt with a grin. "Careful, I might steal that." Alex Vipond: Alex hated Twilight too, hence the I only sparkle at night part. The last time Alex had been here, there hadn't been any live music and really, he hadn't been looking at the backline that night. He hadn't actually decided as of yet not to do any touring next year, but to focus on recording projects. When the woman mentioned stealing his shirt, he chuckled. "Hey, it could have just as easily been a Happiness is t-shirt that was covered in kittens." Terri x Kurai: The last time there had been a DJ playing the music. However, the club was more known for live performances when they were available - though they did require 'try outs' as it were, unless the name of said group or performer preceded them. Which they had had a number of well-known alternative artists come through - Korn, NIN... to name a couple. Though that had been years ago. When he spoke of the other shirt, Terri snorted, giving a shake of her head. "That probably would have gotten you kicked out." She said, a thumbs up was given to the performers on stage and music was cut off. How they wanted the performance to go was left up to them, Terri just was there for sound checks to ensure Eros' equipment was working. "So, what brings you into my neck of the woods?" Alex Vipond: "I'm not going to be touring next year, so I figured I would scope some local venues to set shows up at in between studio projects, just to keep the appetites of the fans whetted. A few StageIt shows for the out of state and out of country fans should appease until the following year when I'm not burned out from the hella crazy schedule we'd planned for this year." It had been insane; sometimes having as many as six shows, back to back, in different cities, and even different countries. Terri x Kurai: "Awesome..." Terri replied, finishing off her drink and setting the glass down on the bar, though motioning to the male behind there for a refill then turning to him. "What are you looking for in music venues?" She asked, taking her glass from the bar after it was refilled as suddenly the lights went out, though the multicolored neon rainbow started up - blackout curtains from the windows being rolled up. Terri gave a motion to the second floor "Might want to head up here if you want to avoid being mauled." She suggested, already heading for the stairs close to the entrance and heading up to the second floor - the rather gifted tender Geri was there of course, showing off those particular assets as usual, though in a tank rather than the corset get up she wore the last time. Alex Vipond: "Capacity, acoustics, backline." Backline was probably more relavant than capacity. Yes, let's not shove things in people's faces again. Alex followed her up and he smiled at Geri, "Scotch, neat," and he held three fingers up to let her know how deep he wanted it. "So how's you backline?" Terri x Kurai: "Welcome back love." Geri greeted with his smile, giving him a playful little wink along with it. No sooner that had they taken a seat at the second floor bar, did people start filling in and, until it came time for the live show, pre-recorded music was just being played through the unseen speakers, lights, of course, pulsing or moving to the music. Geri handed Alex his requested drink before shimmying her way over to another customer - leaning forward on the counter and just not holding back. Terri, of course, ignored the woman for the most part. "Do you have to ask?" Terri answered jokingly before taking a drink from her glass and giving a nod toward the stage that could be seen through the railing of the second floor. "Top of the line and kept well maintained I might add. If there's anything wrong with it, we generally have it fixed the same day." That, likely meant there was a small day crew there, to inspect when Terri wasn't there and make sure everything was still working before the club opened. Alex Vipond: "Good. I'll schedule a few dates, in fact if you don't have anyone slated to headline on New Year's Eve yet, I could go ahead and book that date now." Yes, dates were often booked that far out in advance. Sometimes further, when it was a major date like New Year's. Terri x Kurai: Terri thought for a moment then looked to the big breasted tender. "Hey Geri!" She called, interrupting the woman's flirting - but this was business related, so that took priority. In fact, Geri, seeming to know that tone of voice from Terri, changed from her aloof demeanor to one more serious. "We have anything for New Year's Eve? She asked before the tender could address her. There was a moment as Geri seemed to think mentally before giving a shake of her head and Terri gave a nod to Alex then. "We do now." And that was when that ipad was brought out from under the bar and Geri began making some notes before tucking it back under and heading back to what she was doing previously. Easy as that... Terri preferred things that weren't going to be painful and required a lot. "Let me know when you'd like to do a walk through and we can go over some plans if you want." Terri said to him then, a sip taken from her glass. Alex Vipond: "We can run sound check around four, if that's not too soon for you and then hit the stage at nine." Lifting his scotch he took a sip and looked around as the crowd continued to grow. "What is your capacity here?" Terri x Kurai: "About a thousand..." She replied, motioning to the stairs they had come up and there was even more. "The third floor is there is just a lounge area - some pool tables, seating - but speakers and TVs show the live performances below. Then the fourth floor is the VIP area... which, nothing too special, but does give a Mediterranean feel with the decor. And, again, TVs and speakers to show what's happening down below. But the first and second floors are the favorites..." As if he couldn't tell with how many people were filling it up already. If they went to the third or fourth floors, he'd see how scarce they were.

Terri x Kurai: As usual it was a packed night at Eros, though instead of a live band playing it was their DJ booth that had the spotlight. In fact, it wasn't just an ordinary night... but a battle of the DJs. This served two purposes, in Terri's mind. The first and most important purpose - the house DJ had put in his two week notice. It was nothing against the club, he reassured her of that, but he was moving on to bigger and better things. The second purpose? When she had made the announcement of the battle - which she hadn't as much time as she normally would have preferred - most of the people that packed the place were actually new customers - likely brought in by the DJs that signed up for said battle. Terri, dressed in black wide legged jeans and a deep purple corset style top with faux silver eye hooks with heeled boots, stood on the second floor leaning over the railing and looking at the cheering - or jeering - crowd below. It was a rough crowd! And Eros had a reputation to protect.
Cutie Fangs: Hand in hand with Jack, she was escorted inside. Since it was her first time up in the club, she was dressed the part in the blue jeans that Eithne got for her (complete with a CK stamped on her tush), and the hoodie that Alex got for her with her name on it, and a chunky pair of Adidas kicks. She meant to find her friends right away but she was overcome with delight being in a c l u b so she danced a little, and sang, "Let's get it started in here," because she did know who the Black Eyed Peas were. Alright, then Jack tugged her along and off she went with him once more hand in hand. She didn't know where Alex was, but she mind-yelped for him. Alex! Where are you at? While she waited to hear from him or see him, she tapped the egg shell toe of big Adidas. Urban Nadia.
Alex Vipond: Alex slipped in through the door, a wiry figure in a swirling black velvet coat that nearly brushed the floor. To ward off the chill, he had not one but two scarves draped around his neck, one a deep burgundy, the other in a large black and gray hound’s tooth design. Black jeans, black boots, black t-shirt... Sensing a theme here? The only relief to the black was the scarves, the metallic belt at his waist, and the stainless steel chain hanging from his hip. He had a cigarette tucked behind his ear, and a stick of gum in his mouth that was being worried to death between his teeth. When Nadia reached out, he chuckled. Behind you, babushka. No, he still didn't know it meant grandmother.
Terri x Kurai: Wellll... it was a rarity to find Black Eyed Peas played here... the club had been known for hosting acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson... and other such similar artists. With a smooth transition, the current DJ contender switched from an original beat of his own and rolled into Marilyn Manson's rendition of 'This is Halloween' - and what did he just have to do? Yep, pointed that index finger in Terri's direction purposefully letting her know this particular play was for her. Shaking her head with a snicker, icy blues looked away before sensing a familiar presence and eyes shifted to the entrance. The trio caught her attention and she pushed off the railing and headed down the stairs to them. "Hey!" She called - hell no she didn't do any of that Jedi mind trick stuff.
Cutie Fangs: Oh! Yeah, Nadia didn't care what was playing, she just hummed BEP ‘cause they were one of like four American groups she was familiar with. She peeked up to Jack when Manson came on, mulling over whether or not she liked it. It was not Bach but it wasn't half bad. When Alex answered, she squeal-giggled over little shoulder at him and took in his dark attire with big lamb eyes, gobbling him all up before Terri spoke to them. And so then she turned that way, still clutching Jack's hand, apple smile popped right at Terri. P.S. Adidas toe still tapping to this-is-Halloween-this-is-Halloween.
Alex Vipond: Alex smiled and moved toward her, hand lifted to Terry in greeting as he squatted down for his Nadia hug, arms out, velvet pooling around him on the floor. Once he'd gotten his Nadia hug, and a kiss given her cheek, he'd straighten and look back at Terri. "And how are you, and you," he looked back at Nadia, and then to Jack, "and you, doing?"
Terri x Kurai: "Same sh... stuff, different day." Terri replied - yes, correcting herself for little ears... wasn't that just surprising? Though she couldn't vouch for the other patrons in the club so who knew what little Nadia would hear. She gave Alex a once over with a tilt of her head to the side. "Nice threads."
Alex Vipond: "Thanks." he nodded, and looked around. "The place is really hopping tonight," understatement, there was standing room only. "What'd you do, have the bouncers out on the street, inviting people in at gun point?" Joke, yes. Hey, be happy he wasn't crying into his whiskey tonight.
Terri x Kurai: Terri looked around, rather proudly even, before hearing his little joke. Though she did look at him as though he'd just made her see the light... "Oh my gosh that is the best idea ever!" She exclaimed - oh her voice was just riddled with sarcasm - though the kind that brought smiles, not tears. Giving him a light nudge she pointed toward the DJ booth while - a switch had been made and it was another man behind the turn tables. "Battle of the DJs. My house DJ is leaving so I figured why not have live auditions. They do it on TV." A shrug given before motioning to the stairs leading to the second floor. "Want Geri to brighten your night?" She asked, joking of course.
Alex Vipond: "Ah, I see." When she threw out the offer of Geri, Alex shook his head. "Noooo." Alex smirked, and nudged her back. "As kind as the offer is, I think I need some cool down time." Aside from the occasional freshy, Alex had no designs on women at the moment. When Jack had to take Nadia home, Alex gave her another hug, told her how perfect she looked in her American dress, and gave Jack a nod up as he and the Little Princess headed out. He looked back at Terri. "I love that kid. She's sweet and bubbly and... vicious." He cracked up. "I can't help it, she's perfect."
Terri x Kurai: Terri eyed him at his response. "Get that head out of the gutter Alex; I was referring to getting drinks." She replied, then looking to see Nadia leaving and giving a nod. "She's a child vampire... never came across one that wasn't vicious... though I did not expect the cute side." That last bit added after a pause.
Alex Vipond: "She's the first ever and yes, I can use a drink." He glanced around, and then looked back at Terri. "It's both beautiful and tragic." It likely was only a matter of time before Nadia went stark raving mad, or maybe she'd already had that bout, but she was over the century mark and still around, so that was saying something.
Terri x Kurai: "First ever?" She raised a brow... that didn't seem real, but she wouldn't question it. In fact, without waiting for much of a response, she led the way up to the second floor. Parting the crowd like Moses and the Red Sea, Terri headed to the bar where the infamous Geri worked - though with a look from the boss lady, she would strive to keep it completely platonic around Alex.
Alex Vipond: "First ever for me." He didn't mean first ever, child vampire. When she headed for the stairs, Alex fell into step with her. When they reached the bar, Alex gave Geri a smile and a nod. "Glenmorangie." He held up three fingers, because yes, he was looking for it to be that deep.
Terri x Kurai: "Ohhh ok." She replied, taking a seat at the bar, she didn't need to put in her request, Geri already knew the usual. A grin and wink was tossed Alex's way and she poured or fetched the drinks, bringing them over. "Nadia is a great kid... but what's going to happen when she starts to get up there? I couldn't imagine being as old as I am yet being eternally that young."
Alex Vipond: "I don't know." Alex shook his head. "At what point does it kick in? I mean obviously she knows she'll never grow up and every once in a while, I'll see it in her eyes, that realization." He lifted his glass and took a sip, then leaned back against the bar, glass in hand, as he watched the crowd. "She brushes it aside and, well, yesterday I gave her the Valentine’s gifts I'd gotten for her, which she wore tonight," Alex smiled, "but when I walked into the diner to meet her, you could see the look on her, that realization that she'd never know love the way you and I could."
Terri x Kurai: Dammit that cat had her tongue and coincidently the cat's name was Alex. On the tip of her tongue she wanted to point out that Nadia also wouldn't experience the pain of heartbreak... but she wouldn't! That would be locked away and the key thrown - no, destroyed. She took to the bottle Geri had left for her and took a drink. "Almost makes you feel sorry for her... until you see her tapping out the beat to Nightmare Before Christmas..." Though it still made her surprisingly thankful that her Sires at least waited til she turned eighteen.
Alex Vipond: Chuckling, Alex nodded. "She's spoiled rotten too, and not just by me." He'd take her home if he could, but he knew that would never fly. Still, she was the closest thing he'd ever have to having a child. And that thought he brushed away for a number of reasons, mostly because he felt he didn't deserve any, after depriving his sister of hers, no matter how much the want was there.
Terri x Kurai: "I am not surprised..." Terri replied with a chuckle. “She is adorable even for being a vampire." Another drink taken from her bottle before changing the topic. "How're things going?" She asked - testing the waters so to speak. Which it wouldn't take much to keep her from asking again either. Once told the first time, Terri usually didn't do the same again.
Alex Vipond: "Just hashing out the details you know? Dividing the marital assets," he looked into his glass and then took a sip before continuing. "She's not sure if she wants the lake house or the condo. If she doesn't want either, which, you know, could be since we did spend time in both places, together, then I'll just buy her a new house; something all her own, without any... residue."
Terri x Kurai: Terri herself had never been through a break up as tame as ending a relationship with another or as chaotic as ending a marriage. However, she had heard stories... and had issues with friends that came and went... so she could at least imagine how stressful it was for him - or anyone going through it. Another swallow was taken before speaking again. "You need a distraction." She said... then added after some thought. "And I don't mean the kind you think of when all I say is Geri's name." She a smirk was given before she went on. "The party idea, this weekend in the VIP lounge. Instead of it being about being single again - why not just a get-together of friends?" She looked over at him again, finishing off the bottle and setting it down for Geri to retrieve when she could.
Alex Vipond: “That… sounds like a much better idea.” He nodded and chuckled, then finished off his whiskey, the glass slid over to Geri before he looked back at Terri. “And I think I’m going to bail. I've got an early day in the studio tomorrow. I’ll catch you this week end.” So yes: A get together of friends was a much better idea. One that wouldn't make Alex any glummer than he already was.

22 February, 2015
Alex Vipond: The sky had stopped it's spitting of water for the time being, but it really didn't make much difference, one way or the other, to the locals who were so far beyond used to the damp that it was suggested their feet were webbed. Alex wasn't born or raised in Seattle but he had been in residence, off an on, over the years (read YEARS), and felt like he was almost a native. Alex was, oddly enough, in a better mood. No his life wasn't all sunshine and roses at the moment, but he was feeling much like his old self again, and when 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder drifted around the corner like it was on rails, one could tell he was feeling a little froggy... No pun intended. He hopped out, tossed the keys to the valet, gave the man a look and a strong suggestion, and the kid immediately went to take extra special care of Alex's car. He was proud of that ride, he'd bought it new September of '61 after all, and ... subsequently lost it... long story, but found it again, three years ago, at an auction in California. He paid 8.1 for his own damned car. But it was worth it, to him. A nod was given the doorman and that red leather jacket was unzipped as he stepped through into the club, a stick of Doublemint rolling around his mouth, and that LV chain swaying at his hip as he headed for the stairs. He figured Terri would be up there and at the very least, the view of bartenders was infinitely better. No offense intended to Emilio, but Geri had much better looking breasts.
Terri x Kurai: No offense would be taken. Emilio preferred a smaller crowd anyway, let him keep his eyes on his surroundings better that way. Terri, indeed, was at her usual place on the second floor dressed in black wide legged overalls with : a black lace top. The needlework made it thick enough to be worn on it's own, but there was still some hint of skin shown through. Of course the chest was covered so no peep show there. There was a live band actually playing tonight, some small garage band group from a place just outside of Seattle. She and Geri maneuvered around each other almost like an odd sort of dance that went with the beat and entertained the customers while getting them their drinks.
lethargic fate: Lola made her way inside and offered a little wave to another of the bartenders, the blonde hair was slicked back from having been out in the rain. The small nod was given to one of the others as she moved to stow her jacket before heading up to see what was needed to be replaced and refilled. The quiet young woman shifted a little as she waved to Alex but well. work was needed. The tee shirt and jeans were the staple of clothing for her.
Alex Vipond: It was like a dance, with those two. And it was one worth seeing to be certain. The wave from Lola was returned with a smile, and then he was wending his way through the crowd to the bar and taking up space there. He shot the girls a grin. "Alright, who's gonna booze me up tonight?"
Terri x Kurai: "Hey there Lola!" Terri called when she saw the blonde after doing a back to back turn with Geri. "Normally not that busy on Sundays, but with a live band for a change..." Yeah, people preferred the performances to the DJ playing. Granted, the club was certainly not one hurting for business... but there was always a hike in profit when there was a live performance. Icy blues shifted when hearing the familiar voice and she smirked. "I'm closest unless you'd prefer a face full of Geri." She said to Alex, though would give a nod toward the railing that lined the balcony basically meaning to gesture toward the stage even if she was off a bit. "So when were you planning on being up there?"
lethargic fate: "Good evening." She spoke up as she looked around and began to shift to the side behind the counter, taking a quick inventory. " Anything in special? " She asked as she gave it a moment as the two women split the seas.. so to speak Lola could step in and catch ahold of the cup rack and lifted it up out of the way , for the clean glasses lifted upward. She turned and was back out of the way before being a nuisance.
Alex Vipond: Alex's gaze shifted from Terri to Geri, and he grinned, before looking back at Terri. "I'll let you two hash it out, but I'll have my usual. As far as my getting up there..." He shrugged. "When do you want me?" He shot Lola a wink and then looked back at Geri because face it, with all that pushed up, it was begging to be looked at and no, don't mind the slight leer there, before he blinked and looked back at Terri.
Terri x Kurai: "Um... it's been a bourbon crowd tonight. Thanks, Lola." Holy crap... did you hear that? Call the press... Terri actually thanked someone! Anyway! Any hashing out wouldn't happen as Terri was quick to react first, getting Alex's usual then sliding it his way. "Those are dangerous five words to be throwing out Alex." She said with a wink before taking a lean on the counter since she had a breather anyway. "I thought you were talking New Years the last time we went over it. That came and went though so you tell me when you want you up there."
Alex Vipond: "That was six months ago. New Year's has passed." He lifted his glass, drained it and slid it back toward her. "Hit me again, and let me think on it a bit."
lethargic fate: She gave a small nod and was off with the rack of dirty glasses as she slipped off to go down to the kitchen and exchange them out for clean ones. She had caught the words of it being a bourbon night, so she'd eyeball what was being drank up the quickest to make sure it was replaced.
Terri x Kurai: "Not my fault you have a lousy secretary." Terri replied, reaching back for his drink again. Tipping the opening on the rim of the glass, once the liquor poured, she'd raise it up so the bottle and glass had nothing but air between them as the liquor flowed, then with a simple movement of her wrist, the flow stopped and bottle would be set on the bar counter just in case he wanted a third.
Mister CoIe: ::As his club was starting to be put together, there was still a few weeks before David's club, the Lair, would be ready for its grand opening. However, on this Sunday; David was coming into the club. Attired in a pair of black slacks and brown button down shirt, the club owner arrived at Eros tonight to see the smaller, but familiar looking crowd. Making his way towards the bar, he approached the bar and plopped down on a nearby barstool::
Alex Vipond: "Maybe I should have fucked her like she wanted me to, she might have stuck around, and actually done some work." Doubtful, but it was a thought. Most of his employees had pretty much drifted away once they'd realized that yes he was married and yes he was serious about it. Was, being the operative word there. If David had made his way on upstairs he'd get an up nod and a flash of rock and roll horns from Alex.
Terri x Kurai: Terri blinked when listening to him - though in all truth, employees that expected to bed their boss were not the kind that needed to be working. They were the kind that needed to grow up and take some classes on work ethics or something. Though her next comment really couldn't be helped... and she said it with as straight a face as she could muster, though those red pierced lips were cracking into a smile very slowly. "Would you feel better taking Geri or I home wrapped up with a bow?" She asked. And that was as close to sugar coating as Terri got. A wave to David was given - he'd find her behind the second floor bar instead of sitting at it for a change.
Mister CoIe: ::Not seeing much going on downstairs, David went up the stairs to see Alex give 'em the devil horns as David chuckled, and said:: Alex, how are you? ::Then he waved to Terri, also saw Lola working as he gave her a wave as well. Geri was there too, and he gave a smirk and smile towards her as he said:: Hey, can I have a scotch on the rocks? Thanks...
lethargic fate: She made it to the kitchen.. and traded out the rack for a clean one.. and started the trip back up. She caught sight of David and offered a small nod , since her hands were full. Before back around the counter to dug the glasses back in place. She took a moment to look at the bottles, as she set off to go and make sure that the bottles that were being used the most were being replaced . Which mean.. she was off again to make sure they were well stocked for the crowd. Even as small -ish as it was.
Alex Vipond: "I can only have one?" She walked in to that one. Yes, he was in rare form tonight. Someone may well have to muzzle him before long. As David reached the bar, Alex offered his hand out, dap ensuing, before he picked up his glass and looked back at Terri. "The bow is optional, right?" And hey, good things came in small packages! If anything, Alex was proof of that.
Terri x Kurai: "I don't dig Terri sammiches." She replied with a chuckle before straightening and getting David's scotch on rocks served up. As for the bow being optional? Terri'd just wink at Alex for that comment before sliding David his drink. Geri was slacking - or busy entertaining a group off at the opposite corner... "Here you go."
Mister CoIe: ::he laughed at Terri's comment as the man was given his drink, thanking Terri a bit and watched their playful banter back and forth. Taking a sip on his drink and glancing around, seeing Geri for a moment, then keeping his gaze wandering::
lethargic fate: She made her way back up with a couple of bottles as they were tucked into place. Her hands slid down her sides as she looked over the rest. The glance to Terri and the two men as she offered a small smile. " Oh I put groceries in the kitchen.. I . .don’t know what you eat.. so it was what looked good at the store. "She chimed up to David, ya know.. bologna cheese.. bread.. a can of salmon because it looked interesting..
Terri x Kurai: "Groceries?" Terri echoed, turning to look at Lola with a tilt of the head - though then eyes shifted to David... "I'm assuming you mean at his place yes?" Thumb was jerked in David's direction. "Because we don't serve food here."
Mister CoIe: ::He was helping Lola get out of the shelter and the only thing in return that he wanted was a fairly stocked fridge. David smirked at what Lola had put in the fridge and said:: That sounds really good to me. It'll be the most full the fridge has been as of yet. ::he laughed a bit as David turned to Terri and said:: I do cook up a mean grilled salmon, if you all ever want some...
Alex Vipond: "Interesting." He nodded. "I never thought of salmon as ... interesting." But now he was thinking of it. "What makes a salmon red? Anyone know? I mean, all other fish are white. Are they like pelicans and the red tint come from the plankton or whatever it is they eat?" Alex looked at Terri and shrugged. "I think of these things sometimes..."
lethargic fate: She gave a small nod and shifted a little. " Alex and Nadia had gotten me a room at the Inn, but it was only if I could pay them back.. but it was pricey and I'd end up giving them all my checks to try and pay them back so.. I went back to the shelter.. but.. it.. was creepy.. so David is letting me stay with him if I put groceries in the kitchen.. I'm not very good at it. " She admitted before the blank stare was given to Alex. " I.. don't know. "She admitted, it may have been a rhetorical question but that sort of went over Lola's head.
Terri x Kurai: There was nothing wrong with where Lola stayed - that wasn't Terri's prerogative really - but she just didn't want the girl wasting her time buying food when no one was there to cook it or serve it, etc. Listening to Alex's question Terri gave a nod. "Something like that, yeah." How she knew? Long story short, she read... a lot... when she didn't have anything else to do. "Some kind of chemical in the food they eat." Uh oh, random factoid moment! "Don't get the farm raised shit, they inject artificial coloring into their salmon."
Mister CoIe: ::The man smirked a bit about the coloring of salmon, giving a shrug and saying:: I don’t know why it turns out that color. I just grill it up that way. ::Listening to what Terri had to say, as it made sense:: That's good to know. I didn't know that. Anything else that I should be avoiding when grilling Terri?
Terri x Kurai: "The flames?" Terri replied without skipping a beat. "They can burn." A nod given before she went for the special stash of drinks behind the bar.
Alex Vipond: "Gross." Alex swapped out his gum for a fresh piece, then drained his glass and slid it back over to the girls for a refill. Yes, he as drinking like the proverbial fish. No worries, it took a lot to get him drunk. He had a high tolerance. Alex couldn't help it, he looked over at David with a smirk. "Terri doesn't like to be sammiched, I don't think she wants to be grilled."
lethargic fate: She looked at the three of them and wow a lot of this went over her head. So.. she turned to see what else needed to be taken care of here. She moved around behind the counter, getting out fresh garbage bags and changed them out. She started to ask.. but sometimes it was best to be left in the dark about things. "I start classes tomorrow morning.." she thought it was good news at least.
Mister CoIe: ::When he heard Alex's comment; there was just a short laugh and said:: Yeah, I'll make sure to avoid that in the future. ::looking to Lola as he asked her:: What sort of classes do you start?
lethargic fate: "I have to get a G.E.D so um school? I haven't been in a really long time." She admitted.
Terri x Kurai: "That would depend on who was doing the grilling." She answered with a grin, opening the bottle and taking a swig. Taking up a lean on the counter, she looked over at Lola as she sprouted off her good news. "Awesome." Terri replied with a smile. Furthering education was always something to be encouraged! "If you need help, just ask. Math can be taught using alcohol as long as consumption is done after the teaching."
Alex Vipond: "Good for you." Alex nodded, and then looked to the stage. "You got anyone that can play cello?" He looked back at Terri then.
Mister CoIe: ::He smiled a bit as she mentioned the GED stuff as he was proud to see her doing that. He smirked at Terri's comment and said:: Alcohol makes math bearable. ::Looking to Alex as he heard about the cello, saying:: Are you recording again?
Alex Vipond: "Haven't stopped really, but I was thinking more along the lines of right now..." He nodded to David and then looked back at Terri once more. "So do ya, huh?"
lethargic fate: Well the last grade completed had been like.. fourth. So she was a bit behind, to say the least. She looked at them all and actually smiled. " I might have to ask you to help. There was an old woman helped me at the store. "She admitted. Then question came up about the cello. " I can play piano. "She offered with a small shrug.
Terri x Kurai: Geri had sauntered over in time to hear Alex's question and grinned, giving Terri a nudge though got an icy glare in return before she spoke up. "You're lookin' at 'er. Except I don't take the instruments out of the music room." She replied, looking back to Alex. "My..." pause here before continuing. "I was taught a little bit of everything though am more known for the drums because I never openly played anything else."
Alex Vipond: "If you need help with like history or anything, I can help." Math, f'geddaboudit. He looked back at Terri as she answered his question. "Well, instruments in the music room don't do us any good here."
Terri x Kurai: "Here...?" Blink. Oh was he serious?! "I don't perform live anymore remember?" She told him this hadn't she? Another swig was taken before eyeing the stage herself.
lethargic fate: She watched them a moment, then turned to pick up the bags of trash as she made her way out from behind the counter again.
Alex Vipond: "Which was why I asked if you had anyone on hand who played cello..." He contemplated further and decided he'd just have to do a different song.
Terri x Kurai: "Ask one of them to borrow their equipment." Terri replied, giving a nod toward the band that was already on stage anyway. Eros didn't provide instruments for the bands that came, they brought their own.
lethargic fate: She threaded her way through the people toward the back as she made sure that the trash was taken out before pausing to wash her hands. The few minutes lingering behind to help in the kitchen before heading back up to see if Geri or Terri needed anything else.
Alex Vipond: "Hell, I'll just borrow their musicians." He drained his glass and slid it back across the bar for a refill, even as he pushed from his lean against the bar. He headed for the stage, and stepped up, spoke to the band members. The lights went out when they came back up, there were two musicians who would be playing: one on guitar and one on cello. As they started to play, Alex stood center stage between and just before them, and after the intro, he began to sing.
After the intro, Alex began to sing.
This is the end Hold your breath And count to ten Feel the earth move And then Hear my heart burst again For this is the end I've drowned and dreamed This moment So overdue I owe them Swept away I'm stolen
Let the sky fall When we crumble We will stand tall Face it all together Let the sky fall And we'll crumble We will stand tall At Skyfall At Skyfall
Skyfall is where we start A thousand miles And poles apart Where worlds collide And days are dark You may have my number You can take my name But you'll never have my heart
Let the sky fall And we'll crumble And we'll stand tall Face it all together Let the sky fall And we'll crumble We'll stand tall Face it all together At Skyfall
As the sky falls Will we crumble ooooh As the sky falls
Let the sky fall As we crumble We will stand tall Face it all together Let the sky fall And we'll crumble And we'll stand tall Face it all together At Skyfall Let the sky fall We will stand tall At Skyfall
Terri x Kurai: Terri had looked over at Lola when she came back up - a majority of the crowd from the second floor had gone downstairs when Alex started performing - and she gave the girl a nod. "Take a break if you want." She said, stepping out from behind the bar herself and walking to the railing, leaning against it and watching with the bird's eye view.
At Skyfall
Alex Vipond: Alex lifted a hand, blew a kiss, and gave a heartfelt "Thank you!" to the crowd, before he moved to step off the stage.
lethargic fate: She gave a small nod as she listened to the song and tilted her head a little as she shifted a little, what she needed was a cigarette.. so while on break she made her way down from the second floor to go indulge in a bad habit.
Terri x Kurai: Well his departure of the stage would be met with voices of objections of course. Though now that his fans knew he was there, any walking on his own would probably be near impossible. Terri couldn't help it, grinning. "Oh go on, you know you want to do one more!"
Cutie Fangs: The Russian wandered into the club, hand in hand with Jack. Clad in a fluffy winter coat --velvet smock beneath-- and thick tights with shiny Mary Jane's, she missed Alex. Catching the tail end, her shoulders sagged. Sad, sad little ballerina.
Alex Vipond: Well for a smile he could be convinced to do another.
Cutie Fangs: Well she didn't have it in her to smile now. Wait. Catching the Elder's eye she waved little pale hand. "Alex! Alex! I here!" I here. Her English was awesome sometimes.
Alex Vipond: Terri's words and Nadia's call clinched it. The gum rolled around in his mouth and he looked back at the band, a nod given. The stage lights went out and there was movement on the stage as things were shifted about. The crowd cheered, and when the lights came back up, Alex was sitting at the keyboard. Without preamble, he began to play.
My eyes are painted red The canvas of my soul, Slowly breaking down again Today I heard the news The story's getting old When will we see the end Of the days, we bleed for what we need To forgive, forget, move on Cause we've got
One life to live One love to give One chance to keep from falling One heart to break One soul to take us Not forsake us, Only one Only one Only one
The writing's on the wall Those who came before Left pictures frozen still in time You say you want it all But whose side you're fighting for? I sit and wonder why There are nights, we sleep, while others they weep With regret, repent, be strong Cause we've got
One life to live One love to give One chance to keep from falling One heart to break One soul to take us Not forsake us Only One Only One
Terri x Kurai: Well Terri would see Nadia as well and make her way on down the stairs to meet her and Jack. "Hey guys..." She looked at Nadia in particular. "Want to see it from up top or go up to the stage?" She asked.
Just you and I Under one sky….
One life to live One love to give One chance to keep from falling One heart to break One soul to take us Not forsake us Only One Only One
One life to live One love to give One chance to keep from falling One heart to break One soul to take us Not forsake us Only One Only One
Alex Vipond: As the last note died down, Alex rose once more and gave a bow, and blew kisses to the audience, as he made his way off stage.
Cutie Fangs: Her face lit up. She was Alex's biggest (pint sized) fan. Tapping a shiny Mary Jane to the music and humming along, she looked up, popping an apple smile at Terri when she appeared. Prone to acting her age at times, she let go of Jack and tucked her hand to Terri's. For his part, Jack up-nodded.
Terri x Kurai: Terri blinked when feeling Nadia's small hand in hers. It was so awkward of a feeling that it couldn't be described even if asked. However, she didn't pull away, though would start guiding the little Russian through the crowd to where Alex was stepping off. "Go get 'im." She said with a chuckle and she'd wait to feel that telltale tug of her little hand to indicate she would go toward him before letting go.
lethargic fate: The blonde had stepped outside, she had heard the song from there as she lit up the cigarette. The hazel eyes flickered around before she exhaled. She wouldn't spend long outside, just enough to get her nicotine fix.. before ducking back inside. The pack stuffed back into her pocket as she headed off again to check over the bar.
Cutie Fangs: It was incredibly awkward but Nadia didn't realize, nope, she was tickled. She was idly swinging Terri's hand like she often did to Jack, and led along. Incoming! When they were close enough, she let go of Terri's hand and launched herself at Alex for the hug. Duh she was going to kiss his cheek as well.
Alex Vipond: Seeing Nadia and Terri heading his way, he held his arms out as he crouched down, a wide grin on his face. When she rushed him, he closed his arms around her and gave her a squeeze. "I am very glad you could come out tonight!" The kiss to his cheek was returned in kind, one to each of hers. European. It was a thing.
Cutie Fangs: "I overslept. But I came as soon as I wake up." Which meant seven p.m. or so since she overslept.
Terri x Kurai: Terri wouldn't rush, but unseen those slender fingers flexed a bit after Nadia's hand left hers. Arms crossed over her middle as she watched the too. "Don't think you're getting out of an actual scheduled performance just because you went impromptu on me." She said with a grin. Geri would still be upstairs working the bar and offered a smile to Lola when she returned. "How is it outside?"
Alex Vipond: "There's nothing wrong with sleeping in." Alex did it every now and then hisownself. Not of late, naturally because one would have to actually sleep in order to sleep in, but yeah. "Shall we head back upstairs and no..." He looked back at Terri; “it doesn't let me off the hook as you put it."
Cutie Fangs: She smiled at Alex's comment and this time tucked her hand to his. Lamb eyes gobbling up the others, and she peeked over her shoulder making sure Jack was still there since he was still her security blanky "Wherever Alex want to go."
Terri x Kurai: Sleeping in? Terri missed making a sarcastic comment on that? Good heavens... at the suggestion of heading back up, she gave a nod. "Shall I beat people away with a stick?" She asked with a grin.
Alex Vipond: "If you feel you must." Alex chuckled and with Nadia's hand in his, he headed back up the stairs, and yes, hands were a swingin'. "Pick a day, Nadia, any day you want, and I will do a full show here that day."
Cutie Fangs: "Have to be on a Friday because that is when people how you say, party up." She loved using American phrases now and then. She moseyed along with him, Jack coming with though he was unhurried since the Demon Kid was always safe with Alex.
Terri x Kurai: She let the two of them lead the way while Terri brought up the rear, chuckling when hearing Nadia suggest Friday. "They party up on Saturdays too Nadia, believe me..." Fridays and Saturdays the club was lined outside the door and around the block. Sundays normally were slower, but with live performances instead of a DJ, that changed things. In fact, since Alex gave his performance, it likely would make an increase in business. Once on the second floor, Geri would have Alex's drink already ready for him at the bar with that eternally charming smile.
lethargic fate: Lola had simply gone back to work though had gotten caught by one fellow thinking his moves were slick and himself somewhat hotter than what he was. The blonde only stared at him blankly before suddenly pointing off in another direction.. when he turned his head to look, she just melted back into the crowd and sought out the safety of carrying the bucket of ice up to the second floor bar.
Alex Vipond: "A Friday it is. Is there any special month you would like it to be in?" Never knew, she might want it to be in the Spring or Summer. As they reached the floor above, Alex led the way through the crowd, and yes, he stopped from time to time to sign something for someone. Everything from bar napkins to breasts, though he was quite careful of the latter, making certain it was only the tip that touched the skin and not his hand. He had one paternity suit slapped on him, he really didn't need another.
Cutie Fangs: She smiled over little shoulder at Terri and bobbed her head, Saturday as well indeed. And then she peeked with Russian disdain on the riffraff and gutter trash that offered the top of a breast to be signed. Peasants. -- Not that Nadia was a s n o b or a p r i n c e s s or anything. "Spring I think. Because then can wear pink." She meant her, she'd wear pink. She doubted the Rock Star would.
Terri x Kurai: Gutter trash? Well, well... it was a pity that, whenever Alex made it to the bar again, Geri herself was leaning over with that knowing smirk as if to say 'let’s see you sign these without touching.' Terri, seeing this maneuver, laughed, giving a shake of her head before attention shifted to Nadia as she made the request for Alex to give his performance in Spring. "Spring would work, good choice there Nadia." She said with a grin for the Russian. Icy blues had caught sight of the wannabe smooth talker and would watch Lola after she had made her getaway to make sure the fucker wouldn't follow.
Alex Vipond: "Spring it is." Sometime before Spring Break, when everyone headed south to get wasted. And no he wouldn't wear pink, but he would wear his kittens in a race car t-shirt if that made her happy. When Geri leaned, looking for an autograph, Alex's brow went up and he pulled his Sharpie back out. Smirking, he signed them, writing on one, All the love, and on the other a stylized, AV.
lethargic fate: She circled around the counter and brought the ice over to the cooler. The blink was given as Alex was signing Geri's boobs. “Isn’t that just going to wash off?" She asked a bit confused and shook her head. People were so weird. She dumped the bucket of ice as she glanced around again and shifted back out of the way. The fellow realized he had been duped as he followed Lola's escape with his eyes only... before the guys behind him laughed and teased him a bit.. nothing more than the simple razing of one's friends right?
Cutie Fangs: The oversized eyes caught sight of Geri and she peeked away with a rueful look, almost wistful in expression though within a moment she was her peppy self. Rather than sit, she remained standing for now, her hand tucked to Jack's. Watching while Alex signed some plumpness before she glanced off into the void and basically hoped one of the humans got out of line so she'd be vindicated in draining them.
Terri x Kurai: He certainly had the room to be that creative didn't he? Gaze shifted to Lola and Terri laughed softly. "It's the thought that counts. Besides, Geri will just take a picture of it before washing it off." She said - though now she wondered how many paperless women would be wanting Terri to tattoo his autograph into their skin? Oh if there was ever a time to hate being a tattoo artist. Geri left Alex's drink on the counter before she moved on to the next customer. She turned to look at Nadia then. "So how have you been since I last saw you?"
Alex Vipond: "Not without some effort." he recapped the Sharpie and waved it at Lola. "Time and some rubbing alcohol will get it off." Yes, Alex knew his Sharpie well. Tucking it into his hip pocket, he looked over at Nadia and smiled as he reached for and lifted that glass of whiskey up and took a sip.
lethargic fate: "It just seems strange since she sees you all the time. " She knew that he was a singer, because well everyone told her he was and that he was famous , but it seemed a little strange to see him as anything other than the kind man that had helped her out. Seeing him as something so... lofty seemed odd. She picked up her bucket and was off once more to keep up with her job.
Cutie Fangs: Swinging hands idly with Jack until the biker excused himself to wander outside and have a Marlboro; she peeked at Alex and returned his smile. She then basically lit all up at Terri's question, gobbling her up with the big doll eyes before she spoke, little hands buzzing in animation. "Am good. I dance with local ballet company here. And I give you and Alex and my Eithne tickets. And I get free M&M's for you at intermission." She always acted like this was the part that'd sell them, the free candy, nevermind that they all lived on blood.
Terri x Kurai: Oh neither she or Geri saw him as anything other than a good friend. As the crowd grew around the bar, Terri hopped off her seat and slipped around behind the bar - after listening to Nadia of course. She took the tickets from her with an appreciative smile and tucked them away in one of those massive pockets on her overalls. "Awesome! Though give my M&Ms to Alex, they make me sick." All foods made her sick actually which was why she didn't eat them while Alex managed to get beyond that. She paused near Alex, however, when on the other side of the bar, and leaned over. "Keep the sharpie out and I might let you brand me later, bow not included." She murmured near his ear with a grin before turning and stepping into that routine of switching from one side then the other with Geri.
Alex Vipond: Alex's lips curved up as he listened t othat whisper, and then he looked at her. "And I may just take you up on that." Chuckling, he lifted his glass and took a sip, then looked around the place once more. When Nadia had to go explore, he gave her a wave, and Jack got a nod up, and then he was watching the girls again as they worked the bar.
Terri x Kurai: "Sure you would." She joked when in ear shot again, passing one guy's girl a glass of vodka diluted with orange juice. She took a bottle of whiskey off the shelf and literally tossed it to Geri, who caught it effortlessly and poured a few shots and delivered them. Whiskey tossed back, she put it on the shelf while taking down on of the selections of bourbon... and so on and so forth. Drinks served, bottles tossed back and forth by practiced hands and the temporary bar rush was over. Though as Terri made it back over to Alex another woman approached, asking exactly what she had been afraid of - a tattoo done over Alex's autograph on her chest to make it last. "You're drunk, go home." Terri said, frowning at her.
Alex Vipond: "You may want to think about that." Alex nodded. "Give it a few days, time for the novelty to wear off, you'll think of much better things to do with your breasts."
Terri x Kurai: See? He was so much nicer about it. Terri, on the other hand, she could rival those grumpy cat memes, but less cute. She took a napkin out from under the bar and passed it to Alex. "Here, just sign this for her.." She muttered while those shimmering lip glossed lips parted with a string of objections. Both to him - saying there would be nothing she wouldn't love more - and to Terri, insisting she wasn't drunk. "Look, it's a sharpie... it'll take a few days to be gone entirely. If you want it done tomorrow for sure, come back in before you have some drinks and I'll be glad to fix you up."
Alex Vipond: Alex slid the napkin over and pulled his Sharpie as he spoke, signing it. "Definitely before you have anything to drink. Alcohol thins the blood and when being stuck with needles... Excess bleeding isn't the thing you want to have happen." Alex smiled and offered the napkin out to her. "Trust me on this."
Terri x Kurai: Excess bleeding was something no one wanted... especially in Eros. It was a trying ordeal enough to be giving tattoos, being in such close proximity of blood... something that Terri just couldn't afford herself to think about. Can you say a glutton for punishment? Clutching the napkin with a giggly bob of her head, the woman finally left and Terri gave a sigh with her arms stretching out over the bar and head dipping between her arms. "Idiots." She mumbled before arms drawing back and falling to her sides as she straightened. "See? Those are the kind of fans that ruined performing for me. Her and the ones that liked to tear off pieces of clothing or even hair..."
Alex Vipond: "I almost lost my Clash t-shirt in Tokyo. In the airport. While wearing it. Thought I was going to be strangled." He sipped his whiskey as he regarded her, then shifted in his lean against the bar, elbows on it, one leg kicked out as the other knee braced against the face of it. "And if you keep teasing, me, I will take you up on it." He lifted his glass again, eyes on hers as he sipped.
Terri x Kurai: "I can believe it!" Terri replied with a laugh, shaking her head. "Those Tokyo crowds are insane. Went there once... just once... and I ended up with a slash..." She held out her arm - there wasn't a scar or anything, it was just for demonstrative purposes. "From my wrist to my elbow because a fan tried to cut a piece of my shirt off me." This was back a little over ten years ago, she hadn't even been eighteen yet... so, yeah, it was scary shit. She pulled her arm back and was about to help herself to her stash before he spoke. Fingers grasped a bottle and she leaned in. "I don't recall saying I was teasing." She replied, her eyes meeting his and opening the bottle. Eye contact was broken only for her to take a swig of the contents.
Alex Vipond: "Well what's a little bump and grind between friends?" Chuckling, Alex took a drink of his whiskey. "God knows we could all use a little." He let out a breath and straightened his back, given a little twist to each side, before he took up his boneless lean against the bar again.
Terri x Kurai: Terri chuckled a bit, setting her drink down. "What are friends for right?" She asked - a rhetorical question - though that was taken up as an invitation too. Sliding over, she daringly leaned over and, unless told otherwise, she'd brazenly brush lips to his skin before making the retreat and drinking from her bottle again.
Alex Vipond: Alex watched her as she leaned, his eyes following her in her retreat. "Well if you can't fuck your friends, who can you fuck?" Not fans, they got clingy and tried to slap you with paternity suits as it was, even without touching them. Terri x Kurai: "They sell those blow up dolls nowadays." Terri replied with a chuckle. And yes, fans were far too clingy. So were friends... so you had to be careful on which ones you chose to go for a no strings attached kind of thing. There was another drink of the bottle taken before she looked around as though contemplating something then looking back to him. "So, where to?" She asked casually - yeah, she could leave when she wanted. Geri was more than capable of holding her own even in the toughest crowds... Terri just enjoyed having something to do which was why she usually dropped in to help her out.
Alex Vipond: "They pop when you bite them. Very disconcerting..." He nodded, expression completely serious, though there was a spark of amusement in his eyes. When she asked where to, Alex contemplated that for a long moment. Not the house, surely. Too soon even for him, to take another woman into their bed. The condo was out, as was the lake house, because Alex wasn't even certain which of them Meghan was at, if either. She could be at Charlie's for all he knew. "Your place, neutral ground? I can book us a room." He pulled his phone to see what was available and where.
Terri x Kurai: She almost choked on her drink at his return comment about them popping with a bite. Shaking her head, she finished off the bottle. "Just remember, I bite back..." Terri replied, a little discreet peep of that particular pair of teeth was given before licking her lips. Just like he wouldn't open his place, she wasn't about to open hers... though some completely separate reasons. "Booking a room sounds good." She replied, walking out from behind the bar and taking a seat at the bar, legs stretching out and crossing over the other.
Alex Vipond: Alex nodded and looked back at his phone, as he browsed rooms. Finding one he liked, he booked it, then lifted his glass, and drained it. Turning his arm, Alex actually checked his watch for the time, despite having his phone in hand. "Shouldn't take us more than ten or fifteen to get to the Sheraton." he dropped the phone back into his pocket, as he looked at her, his hand sliding into his pocket to slip out payment for his booze, which he left on the bar as well as a good tip.
Terri x Kurai: Transaction was completed, Terri made sure to let Geri know that she was heading out for the night, and looked over at Alex. "Sheraton?" She repeated... that was a ritzy place... but she wouldn't complain by any means. She did, however, go over to the door for the tattoo parlor - aptly named Monster Ink - and made sure it was locked down before she walked back to Alex. "Lead the way." She said with a smirk, reaching into those deep pockets and pulling out her keys for the Mustang.
Alex Vipond: Smirking, Alex headed for the stairs, the valet ticket pulled and once they were outside, he handed it off to the attendant, who went and fetched his car. While he waited, he zipped up his jacket, and swapped out his gum for a fresh piece. Taking note of her keys, Alex nodded. He knew it wasn't anything about his driving, but with things as they were, discretion was a good idea. Otherwise it would be splashed all over the web how he and Terri had hooked up. When the valet brought his car around, he tipped the kid after looking it over carefully, and a little mental probing of the kid wasn't out of bounds in this case. It was after all, an eight point one million dollar car. Don't get him started on how he ended up paying that much for what really was, his own damned car to begin with.
Terri x Kurai: Actually, press hadn't even been a thought when considering different cars, Terri just refused to leave the car in Eros' parking lot. However, she would do what she could to make sure no one could make any implications. Negative images was the last thing either of them needed. While he waited for the valet, she headed on out to the lot herself. Yes, she actually wore a jacket this time - nothing too heavy, it was more like a hoodie than anything else. Keychain was twirled around her pointer finger before reaching the 1967 Mustang, glossy black with flame detailing. She was in the driver seat and firing up the engine while watching the mirror for whenever the valet brought him his car.

Terri x Kurai: Sometimes still having your mentors around was a good thing - being an abandoned childe and all, Terri turned to them for resources she couldn't get herself. Which was why she was sitting in Eros, dressed in her usual black but in the form of a long sleeve turtleneck sweater that went down to about her mid-thigh with black fishnet leggings and knee-high boots. She also wore sunglasses and lips hadn't been accented with that ruby red gloss yet. She was nursing from a skinny necked bottle as usual - but this time it held something different than what Eros kept stocked for 'special' customers. Overall, she didn't look too bad, just like someone coming out of a drunken haze. Thankfully, the club was more or less empty aside from the occasional employees that weren't seen regularly because they blended in with the crowds.
T C Beckwith: TC rolled into the alley behind the club, and killed the engine. Rocking the bike over onto the stand, he turned the gas off, and pulled the keys, giving the area a good once over, as he swung his leg off. Heading in through the back, TC pulled his shades off, because... mark the day down on the calendar, folks, because the sun was actually out. People weren't exactly how to handle it. Moving in through the back, he clocked in, then headed for the locker room to change. The club had an image and his jeans and t-shirt didn't much blend in with the clientele. Stripping down, he ignored the catcalls, flipping Emilio off with a smirk as he slid into his trousers. Buttoning his shirt, he tucked it in, then buckled his belt and sat down to pull his boots back on... his one concession and no, there wasn't a dress code, but it was a matter of exuding authority without becoming confrontational. A man, well dressed, was more apt to be listened to than a bum in ripped jeans and a holey t-shirt sporting the Grateful Dead. His hands lifted, thumbs drawing a line at his temples back, through his hair and separating that from the rest of his mane, which he then wrapped in a band to keep it back out of his eyes, leaving the bottom half of his hair down. Rising, he made sure he had everything from the pockets of his jeans, before he tossed everything back into the locker and closed the door, giving the lock a spin to reset the tumblers before heading out onto the floor.
Terri x Kurai: Emilio had a distasteful frown upon his face when hearing the catcalls though when seeing it was he getting the finger gesture from TC, he stared at him hard for a long moment before deciding it wasn't worth his intellect and walking away. Now, Emilio may be the general manager, but Terri overruled his judgment - so thankfully she didn't share his discrimination. In fact, when Emilio emerged, he made his way over to the still hung over looking Terri just as she took a final sip from the bottle and setting it down. Licking her lips, she looked at the empty bottle, then back to him. He again voiced his concern over the hiring of TC to Terri and she glared at him - from behind those sunglasses. "Don't start that again." She warned, staring at the empty bottle a moment before giving a shake of her head. Out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of TC walking out and smirked a bit. "You have a license to fly that bird?" She asked nonchalantly, not looking directly at him, but since Emilio was there at the bar as well, it could be assumed he told her about what happened.
T C Beckwith: Smirking, he nodded, taking up a lean his side against the bar. "Straight from NASA." Elbow on the bar, fingers laced, he looked between the pair. "Anything special going on that I should know about?" And his gaze shifted back to Terri then who looked a bit worse for wear. "Long weekend?"
Terri x Kurai: Oh that got a grin... sunglasses lowered a bit on her nose to let the piercing blues look at him directly. "Can't argue with that one." Then she looked to Emilio. "He's got permission from NASA." She said as if that would solve everything. In truth, it was just her saying to stop complaining, she wasn't going to send TC home or anything. At the weekend comment, she looked back to him. "Very long." She admitted with a nod, though added. "Not in a bad way." Geri would soon show up with another bottle that looked like the one she'd just finished and Terri took off her glasses. "You are a lifesaver..." She said to the busty tender, who was also handing her a small zipper bag which likely contained the face paint she wore - which wasn't a lot, colored lipstick, eye liner, and mascara.
T C Beckwith: Geri's arrival garnered a long look from TC and he smiled. "Well, hello there." Yes that smile got him into and out of trouble often enough. "If you've got a moment..." he paused, leaving it hang just long enough, "I would love a cup of coffee, if that's not too much trouble." His smile was still firmly in place as he pulled his eyes from Geri and her endowments, to look back at Terri, then over at Emilio. TC gave the man a nod, then looked back at Terri. "So what have we got on the schedule?" It was best to know what was going to be in house so one could plan event security.
Terri x Kurai: This was when tensions were high... her mentors worked for her at the club so while they were there for guidance, they could not control her on who was allowed in or to work at the club. Geri, normally a friendly woman that went out of the way to draw attention to those gifts of hers... actually eyed TC briefly before scooting in behind the counter and getting the coffee for him. After that, she headed right up to her usual place, the second floor bar. Terri took a long drink from the bottle, eyes closing then opening. "House DJ tonight so it won't be as crowded as it was when Alex did his random performance a couple nights back." Though there was a thoughtful pause there. "Actually, might still get a crowd now that his fans know this is one of his hang outs." Groan... that likely meant needing more security on hand. "I wonder how many girls who didn't have anything for him to sign that night are going to come to me wanting to tattoo the remnants of his sharpie autograph on them..."
T C Beckwith: TC chuckled at that. "Probably all of them. The man draws them in, like flies to honey." He gave a shake of his head. "For such a little fella, he has a larger than life presence." He paused, and shook his head. "Outside of the whole..." And he left it at that. Wasn't about to say another word on the subject, no matter how vamp friendly the place was.
Terri x Kurai: There was an audible groan at the prospect of 'all of them' coming in. She'd have to double check to make sure she was stocked on black ink once she got her head together that is. Breaking into the zipper bag, she pulled out her bright crimson lipgloss with the mascara and eyeliner. With a practiced hand she painted her lips with rings still in and all. "He's not all that li-" Pause, and she looked at TC a moment. "Ok, since you're towering I guess he would be little to you." She corrected herself, looking away and adding on the mascara and eyeliner next. Little known fact, the shadow wielders, least her kind, didn't have reflections. So yes, it had taken her years to master applying her makeup without being able to see what she was doing. A curse, some called it, but Terri learned how to deal. "Now, now... we biters aren't all that bad." She said, looking over at him with a grin - oh she knew that could be taken in a multitude of directions, but she said it anyway.
T C Beckwith: "Never said you were, Darlin', just said there was more to him than the obvious." Well, obvious to those who knew him well, at any rate. TC often wondered what he'd been like in his early life, before he'd been turned. Oddly enough, TC pictured him pretty much as he was now.
Terri x Kurai: "There's more to everyone than meets the eye." Terri replied, giving a shrug of her shoulders. "Just not always in a good way." Now that she looked more like her usual self and less hang over-ish, she put everything away and took a long swig from the bottle to finish it off and stood. "So, have you had a tour of the place?" She asked, the doors would be opening soon and then it would be near impossible to talk let alone show him around.
T C Beckwith: TC watched her as she put her make up on, and of course the application of the lipstick drew his eyes to her mouth. Hardware aside, she had a very pleasing mouth. When she asked about a tour of the place, he slowly shook his head and straightened from his lean, while killing his coffee. Setting the cup down, he smiled. "No, I have not."
Terri x Kurai: Yes, Terri went through that phase when she got the piercings... lips, eyebrow, tongue and navel... they weren't distasteful though. No one could say that she looked trashy with them... but she also never removed them to let them heal. Her Sires were always supportive of it and encouraged her on 'expressing' herself. Yeah, those were the good days. "Right... well better late than never. Obviously, this is the first floor. Dance floor is pretty much all over, there's the stage... DJ and lighting booths are there..." Then of course were the stairs - she'd also point out the fire escape doors too since those were essential. Then it was on to the stairs...
T C Beckwith: TC took note of each item of import as it was pointed out. "Fire control system?" Hey, one never knew, especially in this day and age of staged pyrotechnics during shows. When they reached the stairs, TC hung back to let her go before him, and then he followed her up. No it wasn't so he could watch her ass, though that was a side benefit. It was more a matter of his momma raising him right.
Terri x Kurai: Terri would admit it, what she chose to wear was picked out of sheer laziness... there weren't any zippers or chains ot navigate... just an easy slip on and off and done kind of attire. Minus the boots, those actually had a buckle and lace combination to them. "This is the second floor, over there.." She motioned to Monster's Ink - it was labeled on the outside with it's own set of neons. "Is my tattoo and piercing parlor... Geri's bar is here..." There were actual seating arrangements up here close to the railing that over looked the dance floor and stage below. "Now, in case you couldn't tell, we don't serve food here. We're strictly drinks and music... there's diners and other places to go and as long as they have a current stamp on the back of their hand they can come back in without paying a second time."
T C Beckwith: "How do you keep head count that way?" It was a valid question. With people coming and going, it would be difficult to control how many to let in and still be within fire code.
Terri x Kurai: "Everything is electronic now a days." Terri replied, making her way to the bar where Geri was getting set up for the night. "Tablets. One tallies those coming in the other tallies those leaving and it's all synced. In fact, when you have the time, there are signs posted letting people know that when they leave, they aren't always granted automatic re-entry. The stamp on the back of their hand just means they don't have to pay again."
T C Beckwith: TC nodded and looked around the place, watched Geri there at the bar for a moment before he looked back at Terri. "How long have you been doing ink? And how do you keep the drunks from getting pissed off over not getting one in the heat of the moment?"
Terri x Kurai: "Over ten years... first job was working in a tattoo parlor at seventeen." She said with a nod, though she didn't do any ink then of course, she hadn't been licensed at the time. But she learned and got licensed later. Never had an unsatisfied customer yet in those ten years... "I don't?" She said sort of blankly, though chuckled a bit. "I've not had any real assholes yet that I couldn't sweet talk down and talk them out of making the biggest mistake ever. Though if it came down to it, then they would just end up escorted out and cut off for the night." Eros rated low on the amount of times LEOs had been called out... which really was zilch... maybe once or twice in the entirety that it had been open. And it was totally chalked up to how she had a zero policy for the idiot drunks. "Also, anyone we do cut off for the night for having too much, we pay for the cab service too. It's less expensive to ensure they get home safely than it is risking getting sued because we let a drunk go home driving and he hit someone."
T C Beckwith: "Good policy." TC nodded and looked around. "I have to say, I'm impressed. To have so much going on in one place at one time and keeping it all together..." He nodded, then looked at her, a smile given. Anyone would have to do an excellent job keeping the place on an even keel so no, he wasn't being patronizing because she was a woman and getting it done. He was genuinely impressed.
Terri x Kurai: "What can I say, I'm an overachiever." She replied with a wink before looking to make sure Geri was good before giving a nod back to the stairs. "There's the third floor and VIP Lounge yet to see if you want to keep going?" Granted, she wasn't trying to sound overconfident or full of herself - but she also didn't suddenly become miss little angelic over a compliment. Besides, keeping so busy avoided her going to a dark place. The flood gates below were opened and people began to flow in.
Alex Vipond: And guess who was the first one in? Well, maybe not the first, but he'd arrive, showered, no longer covered in Gus slobber, and relatively decently dressed. Okay so the t-shirt looked a little moth eaten in places, but those were strategically placed holes! His leather Diesel jacket kept the chill off even though he had the damned top down on the Jag as he pulled up in front and left the car with the valet. They pretty much knew by now he tipped well, and didn't tolerate foolishness with his car. Heading inside, he got his fancy hand stamp and then headed up stairs for the bar, avoiding the majority of the crowd on the first floor.
InkedPr1ncess: It had been long enough since Bren had been in Seattle that she'd almost forgotten where some places were or things that she wanted to do there. Hopefully she was going to catch up with some friends but for the first two days she'd been busy helping out at a friend's shop and getting some other things done. The club she happened to find when she was wandering around the city wasn't one that she remembered but it looked exactly like a place that she would want to hang out and probably have a couple drinks. Good thing she was dressed halfway decent for a club or else she might not have gotten in, black leather pants, boots and a sheer black shirt with black bra underneath. She flashed a pretty smile and got through the line fairly quickly, she wanted to take a good look around but a nice and smitten young man directed her upstairs to the bar and that was where she headed first. :::
T C Beckwith: TC looked over the rail to the floor below, spotted Alex as he wandered in, and chuckled. "Speak of the devil." No, they'd not been speaking of him at that particular moment, but they had been, perhaps ten minutes or so earlier.
Terri x Kurai: Terri headed over to the rail when TC spoke - though didn't have to since she caught sight of Alex coming up the stairs first. "His ears were burning." She said with a chuckle before offering a wave to him when he made it to the second floor. It didn't take long for the first and second floor to start filling up - the DJ starting his routine and the lighting engineer hitting the lightshow. The place got dark yet was light with the Technicolor rainbow as the lights moved or flashed with the beat of the music.
Alex Vipond: Alex gave a wave to Terri and TC up there, wait, TC? One brow rose and he chuckled as he headed from the stairs toward the rail where they were taking up space. "Overlooking your domain?" he looked at TC and yes, the bro dap and shoulder bump ensued.
InkedPr1ncess: The music was awesome to her, pathetic really that she lived in LA and didn't go out club hopping nearly as much as she used to. She would definitely have to chance that after seeing this club. She could move a little bit to the music when she came up to the bar, ordering her normal Patron but she knew for sure she actually recognized at least one if those club go-ers, if not too. "Alex? No fucking way, I was gonna try and find you tomorrow." She would head his way to say hi, a hug for an old friend wasn't all that inappropriate was it? :::
DezzyGotDizzy: Bam! You wouldnt think you would see ol Dez out in public again so soon did you? She was though.. and today she gave Wendy O a run for her money. Fishnet dress, electrical tape in X's over her nipples, and some white panties that said tuesday on the front. 20 eyelet Ronald McDonnald red Doc Martins and a smile. She paid.. walked in and blue blue eyes darted around the club. Victims.. potential PiC.. all assessed in that way she had. Then.. low and MFin behold... it was da Boss. No not Bruce Springstein. It was Alex.. and she skipped.. for real... skipped like little red riding boots over to the boss and stood behind Miss Tattoos.. waiting her turn for hugs and kisses –d
Terri x Kurai: Terri took a precarious lean with her hip against the railing keeping both him and TC in eyesight. Though at his question she raised a pierced brow as if to ask him just who that question had been for since his eyes had been on the new Head of Security. "TC here came in just in time, the old head of security quit because he was moving out of town." Terri said, a glance over to Geri was given as well as a nod to indicate drinks - yes, she'd let TC have a shot or two, despite being on the clock. "Actually, glad you showed up - you've just reminded me to check my stock of black ink. Your friend here jinxed me tonight saying everyone you autographed the other night would be coming in to make them permanent." She was just about to excuse herself to go to that small tattoo and piercing parlor there on the second floor when the woman dressed so lewdly compared to the rest in the club caught her attention. "Oh hell no... how the fuck did that get past those idiots." Men - thinking with their dick instead of their brains. She watched Ms Fishnets come up the stairs and get in line? to see Alex, though Terri would approach her instead. "Evening, mind if we had a word?" Or more... yes, she was trying to be nice as she spoke too by the way.
T C Beckwith: TC looked and looked again, and damned if that wasn't something that would start trouble and yes, as head of security, he'd have a word with the door man about appropriate dress for the club. The boss had it in hand however and TC looked over at the tattooed woman as she moved to hug the rock star. He smiled and then went about his business, getting a drink from Geri at the bar and then he started making the rounds, keeping an eye on people and making sure they knew he was keeping an eye on them.
Alex Vipond: Alex turned as Bren was heard and then of course as the hug was returned, he spotted Dezzy in that get up and had to wonder if she'd just escaped a mental institute. Didn't she realize that A, she wasn't Gaga, and B it was fucking cold outside?
T C Beckwith: TC, while Terri was speaking to the girl in the fishnet dress with her tightie whities showing and her taped nipples, headed down the stairs as he watched the crowd, making sure no one was going to cause a fuss, and headed himself to the door to speak to the door man. TC took him aside and had a quiet word while his counterpart played double duty and counted heads both coming and going.
Rissatopia: When she arrived, she looked down to the small slip of paper in her hand, making sure this was the right place. A long legged saunter carried her from parking lot to club, Seattle's chill clinging to the blood red vintage Chanel that draped her. She paused near the entrance since it would seem security detail was counting heads. She began to dig in small silver clutch in case she needed to flash an ID or pay.
DezzyGotDizzy: It was cold...but Dez always ran hot. With Terri walking over she just watched her come and when she asked to have a word she nodded, that thick brogue, more so accentuated by a recent visit to the home land. " What can I do for ya lass? " She shifted from foot to foot checkin out the surroundings to make sure she was still next on the hug list. Dez was no Gaga. She was however usually stuck in a bad eighties music video as Alex knew when it came to her outfits. She was at least in the 20th century with her clothes now eh? –d
InkedPr1ncess: Bren thought she remembered her, she wasn't sure, but even her eyes widened when she saw the look. The girl was beautiful but even Bren would never dare wear an outfit like that in private, let alone in public. But clearly the establishment wasn't too keen on the current outfit and she was definitely going to stay out of that discussion or else she'd be kicked for her see through shirt. She'd given a wave to TC but maybe he didn't recognize her now, it was sure nice to see Alex. She sat down close if there was room and asked how he'd been. :::
Terri x Kurai: Lady Gaga be damned, Terri wasn't going to let her club be mistaken for a stripper's paradise. There weren't any cages hanging down from the ceiling - no poles or catwalks - it was straight music, booze, and a tattoo/piercing parlor. Fishnet dresses and nipple tape was something that belonged on the street corner... and NOT the same corner as Eros either - she wouldn't let that happen either. Calmly, she would wait for the woman's acknowledgement - though if she was going to ignore her then they'd really see Terri bristle like a black cat Halloween decoration. When the woman spoke to her, Terri flashed a smile - oh it was a fake one, but not obviously fake. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave." She said, not apologetically either, but more matter-of-fact. "You're welcome back when you've changed into something more appropriate." A look around she would allow that granted people flashed cleavage maybe some hint of skin here and there, but they didn't have their bras and underwear visible. Heck Terri was wearing a turtleneck sweater dress with fishnet leggings and knee-high boots.
T C Beckwith: TC was kind of busy chewing ass; he'd catch up to Bren as soon as he was done. In the meantime, he made it clear to the doorman that there was a certain standard to be upheld and it wasn't one that involved naked, or near naked women. If it wasn't suitable for prime time, don't let it through the door.
DezzyGotDizzy: " Oh... yer harshin me for expressin what the Good Lord gave me eh? Understandable Lass.. have a good night then. " She flashed Alex a grin and spun on her heel walking away.. passing TC and the door men and right back out into the street. She didnt wanna offend the masses with her nearly boyish curves for God's sake. Once she walked out though she turned and looked back at the building blue eyes flashing with violence as she clentched her fists and all her knuckles cracked. Maybe that was why Dezzy never came out in public any more.. everyone always had an opinion. Pulling her phone from her boot she made a call, and Why yes she actually had a phone now! But the call was quick and she hung up and turned left at the corner and vanished into an alley -d
Alex Vipond: There were tables that lined the rail, if one recalls correctly and Alex would take a seat there to get caught up while the others dealt with business. He gave her a smile as he sat down. "And how have you been?"
InkedPr1ncess: What an eventful time already, she had to admire somebody that had guts like that, and she could understand the woman asking her to leave considering most of the clientele weren't scantily dressed. But she turned back to Alex after she had a drink of the tequila. "Real good, decided to come back for a visit since I've been working my ass off. How's things with you?" She didn't see his wife yet and most likely she would ask since the ladies had been friends, but not yet. "It's good to see ya again. I was gonna try you at the studio tomorrow." :::
Rissatopia: Didn't appear as if she needed to flash an ID or pay so she stepped around the men at the door and around the Saw II runway model, tape and all. Her heels clicking softly as she wandered with the kind of understated but natural hip switch that required a whip crack sound effect, she tucked the little slip of paper back into silver clutch and looked around, serene gray gaze taking over the people and club itself.
Terri x Kurai: Terri blinked... well that reaction was just a tad uncalled for wasn't it? She could have banned her for life from Eros... in fact, she was oddly tempted to do so. Then again sometimes a certain person seemed to think he was co-owner of the club at times. Walking over to the table Alex and his friend chose, Terri leaned against it rather than taking a seat. "If I ban her from coming back are you going to bring her ass in regardless?" She asked bluntly - this being asked simply because of how Lola was hired on - by him technically.
Alex Vipond: "If you ban her you obviously have reason to do so. I will not drag her ass back in." He smiled at her, and then reached into his pocket to pull his smokes. As for his wife... well that ring finger was bare, but that wasn't the only thing Alex had on his mind at present. No sooner had he lit up and he went still, freezing in place, and then his head slowly came up. He rose, exhaling smoke as he pulled the cigarette from his lips and he looked down over the rail, his eyes searching the floor below.
InkedPr1ncess: Well, whatever was going on was noted, she didn't remember all of Alex's habits but there was definitely a hint of tension as she downed the glass of tequila and thought about ordering another but she hadn't done it yet. "Friend of yours, Alex? Naughty boy, I think she forgot her clothes at home." Seattle didn't always have the best weather for taped nipples either, but some people just didn't mind it. "This your club?" she asked the woman, nodding approvingly towards her. "It's awesome." :::
Rissatopia: This was a good club and Arissia would know because she usually hung around in Europe where people really knew how to --do-- clubs. For the most part, stateside clubs were a sad little shadow of the shit in Prague and Brussels but this lair seemed sweet. Something in the air, she looked around, soft hair lifted briefly by witch's wind when she scanned. Typically her posture was so bitchy that you'd swear she had stood on the senate floor conspiring to have what's his name --Caesar-- killed and out of her way but meeting the Vampire's prowling gaze, she smiled warmly and headed up, the hem of red Chanel dusting her shins.
Alex Vipond: Dezzy and her inappropriate attire were forgotten as Alex watched that face from the past as she mounted the stairs and headed up. Turning, he crushed the barely touched cigarette out and watched the ethereal Queen wander up and toward him. Speechless, was a good word, and he stared, trying to correlate the vision before him now, and the one from two decades ago. The woman who was friend, confidante, source of his ability to begin the launch of his music career all those years ago, and part of the reason it was put on hold. Her disappearance, his supply of that ever so vital blood that allowed him for the first time in his immortal life to walk in the light like a normal man... And here she was, once again.
Terri x Kurai: Listening to Alex, Terri gave a nod and would start to head to the stairs before hearing the question from his friend. Looking back, she again gave a nod. "Yeah, Club Eros is mine." She acknowledged and gave her a half smile for the compliment. "Thanks." She sidestepped for the red dressed woman to make her way up and headed down to find TC.
InkedPr1ncess: Whoever the woman was made Alex speechless and that wasn't something that she remembered ever happening too often. Must have been somebody special and her own heightened senses let her know she was more Alex's speed than her own. The woman was noted, especially with how well she was dressed, and Bren definitely felt like an ugly duckling compared to the beauty. So she took that chance to go back over to the bar and order another drink. :::
Rissatopia: He was in the company of two ladies both of whom she drank in with curious and friendly gaze before she was right in front of Alex. He didn't look twelve, and he was not blonde. "Bonsoir Alexandre." Saying long time no see would have been a pinch of an understatement so it went without saying. She pussycatted up to kiss one cheek and then the other as if they were on a trellis in Paris or merrily playing in the ruins of Pompeii, then she backed a step to really look him over. "You're slim as a blade of grass still."
T C Beckwith: TC was downstairs, having finished his impromptu meeting with the doorman, the one that let the scantily clad woman in, and then the other so he wouldn't make the same mistake as his counterpart and then TC was turning as Terri was coming down and making her way toward him. He moved to meet her half way. "They won't make the same mistake again."
Alex Vipond: "Well that's not going to change any time soon." he smiled as he looked at her, taking her hands and stepping back to get a better look, before looking into her eyes again. "How have you been? Your family they... Let you go?" Or was there going to be a herd of pissed off Fae storming the place to drag her back any moment. "Manners..." He smiled to Rissy and then looked at Bren. "Bren, Rissy, Rissy, Bren. An old friend." he looked back at Rissy and smiled. Old friend indeed. Just never gonna mention the actual age...
Terri x Kurai: Actually Alex was in the company of one woman - Terri had already left by the time she joined Alex. Finding TC, she stopped when they met half way and listened to him - thankful for that enhance hearing, otherwise she'd never hear above the music and chattering between the customers. "Oh I know they won't. Remember what she looks like because she's just been banned." Terri replied in that matter-of-fact tone. Harsh maybe? Well when she was nice to the stripper wannabe about leaving and welcome to return when dressed appropriately yet was snapped at in return - it just didn't bode well.
InkedPr1ncess: "Very nice to meet you, Rissy. I'm a friend of Alex's." She gathered the two were friends for a much longer time since Alex was in fact many years older than she was. She was curious to how old the woman was but it wasn't really nice to ask ladies their age even if she was one. It was real nice to be back in Seattle but she also knew a lot had changed since she had left the city over a year ago. :::
Rissatopia: Very old. No mention of her age, lest they tell her to go sit with Rose, Dorothy and the other Golden Girls. Arissia was apparently flying her hypocrite flag since she, too, was still slim as a tall blade of grass. Delicately, she set her clutch aside before Alex took her hands, a clash of warmth and cool. Easily now she grinned at the remaining woman, her smile curling her mouth, popping to gray eyes and scrunching her nose so she appeared all of fifteen and her features looked almost like she should be in a Keebler tree somewhere baking cookies. She told the truth, "It's nice to meet you."
T C Beckwith: Well one would think that any mature woman wouldn't take offense and being politely asked, privately asked, to go change her clothes. Some just couldn't handle maturity.
Rissatopia: Or. And this was just a thought. She could leave her home with all major reproductive organs covered with more than tape. Again. Just a thought!
Alex Vipond: Iron undies? Could work. Maybe. Alex pulled up a chair for Rissy and then held it as he waited for her to sit. Once she was down, he'd retake his own seat, a hand lifted to one of the serving staff to bring them a round. He looked at Rissy to see what it was she wanted. The staff pretty much knew his penchant for Glenmorangie.
InkedPr1ncess: Bren was just going to enjoy the atmosphere of the club and the company, the two might have had things to talk about or catching up to do. And she was hopefully there for a few more days so she could play catch up with Alex as well. The mood had lightened since the other girl was gone and hopefully less stress meant more partying. It was her kind of club after all, definitely not the typical stale hangout joint. :::
Rissatopia: "How have you been? -- Did you ever start really playing music?" Talk about being out of the loop. How long had she slept for anyway, twenty-two, twenty-three years? Something like that. "And I'm passing through," she murmured, answering his question from before. "I have to check on things." Shaking her head at the offer of Glenmorangie, she glanced at Bren before she could shimmy off. "Do you want to do some shots with me?" Epicureanism, the pursuit of pleasure, it was still clearly her gig. She shook back soft hair and tucked it behind her ear, a big fat diamond parked in the lobe because Baby Girl didn't --do-- fakes. "We should get sodden." Well that was her vote. Then again it always was.
Alex Vipond: "I have yes." he nodded. Three years they'd spent. 2001 to 2004, by 2005 things had slowed to a drizzle. Alex had tried to carry on, on his own, but with his band mate ditching him for most of the shows, interviews and what not and then losing Rissy on top of it... It was time for a break. He'd done small gigs, here and there, always careful, always making sure he'd managed to score some of that special vintage, before taking any day time shows. But now recently, he didn't need the blood. He had a little bit of witchcraft to help out in that regard. "I've put out a couple more albums, gone on two tours, gotten married...." he paused there, and then took up his whiskey as it was brought and knocked a good portion of it back, "And I have a divorce pending." If he could get her to sign the damned papers.
InkedPr1ncess: Well, shots always sounded nice, hopefully Bren wasn't imagining that she was talking to her and she had just finished off her second glass of tequila. Casually listening to conversation after that, she was paying attention to the dancing and getting drawn into the music when she heard that little bit of information being shared. Maybe it was better she hadn't asked but now she was curious. "Divorce...like an actual divorce? Are you joking?" she asked, not to be too rude or anything but she was almost sure Alex wouldn't joke about Meghan. :::
Rissatopia: "Married!" Naturally, the Epicurean honed in on that. She still felt as though marriage --monogamy!-- was so provincial. Alexandre was a beautiful Vampire, and he was French. "But you are beautiful and you should be slaying every---" Oh. Thankfully he mentioned divorce and she so hated for him to be wounded, so she proceeded with tact and did not finish telling him that he should be slaying every pretty piece of ass that crossed his path. Yeah she was quiet, instead laying her hand to his arm and gesturing with her free hand for shots. She and Bren needed to drink. Obviously. It was five somewhere. "I am sorry to hear that." And she was. See why she hated marriage? It always ended in divorce -- unless it didn't but then you had to sex up the same person forever.
Alex Vipond: "Thank you," And yes he was chuckling and yes he knocked back what was left of his scotch, and threw his order in for shots along with the girls. "Make it two rounds and keep them coming." He looked back at Bren and nodded. "Sadly, no. Papers are ready, just need her signature, unless she plans on contesting, and then it's going to be a long, drawn out mess."
InkedPr1ncess: Well now, if there was an occasion to drink, it was hearing that news and it was genuinely shocking but Alex had to have known that already. "I'm sorry, Alex, I really am. I hope that it all works out for you." Hopefully she could still see Meghan before she went back to LA but now she knew the girls were definitely going to have some kind of conversation. The shots were needed and she thanked the woman for the shots, thankfully they could keep them coming and she would help pay. "How are you doing with it?" :::
Alex Vipond: Alex smiled, though it didn't reach his eyes. "I'm fine." Anyone know what that stands for? Anyone? He took up his shot and lifted it high. "Santé!"
Rissatopia: She sighed on his behest. Seeing him a little removed from his typical self, it was like seeing a majestic lion with a nail in its paw. Studying him in silence, she lifted one of the shot glasses when they arrived. "It is always darkest right before the sun burns bright." Not that this sort of cliché silver linings bullshit helped but it was true! A girl was just in here trying her best to be featured on peopleofwalmart.com, if he was too engrossed in the doldrums he'd miss that sort of thing.
Alex Vipond: Oh man, he so did not think of that but yes, that would have been the perfect place for that outfit! Totally fucking missed an opportunity to post that shit. Oh well. He drained his glass and set it down, before picking up the next one. Yeah the waitress was going to be busy, busy, busy....
Rissatopia: "Well congratulations on your albums and I'm here if you need anything." They'd been hanging out eating cake and gossiping for a century, her schedule was currently free if he needed more. Downing the shot in a prissy manner, she circled slender fingers around the next glass but did not yet kill it.

Alex Vipond: The sky was clear for a change and Alex was taking advantage of that fact. He rolled up in the Ferrari, the usual, silent, admonition given in the look the Valet received when the keys to that now eight million dollar ride were handed over. He headed inside, stick of gum rolling around his mouth, smokes in hand, that distressed Diesel jacket looking like it had seen much better days, even though it was made that way. His jeans were ripped, and yes, he had dark colored thermals under them because face it, at 53° degrees, his balls started to climb looking for any kind of heat to keep warm. He paused as he made his way inward, and yes, he pretty much skipped the line around the block, to the annoyance of some and the clamoring of excitement of others as recognition set in. He headed for the stairs, however and up to the second floor bar, in dire need of booze and to light up. And no, he didn't light up in his car. In any of them.
Geri: Geri was there to greet Alex with her usual flirtatious smiles and would make the presumption that he'd take his usual which she'd pour for him once seated. Terri, for a change, wouldn't be within sight - and the tattoo parlor's lights were out for, perhaps, the first time since the club even opened for like the third or fourth time? Something like that. "Did you give the valet the dagger look again?" Geri asked with a knowing smile - yes, she had heard one or two of the valets complaining to Emilio about feeling insulted that Alex felt the need to threaten them over his cars.
Alex Vipond: "Hey, once they all are in the know, I won't have to level threatening looks their way to save them from themselves." He could always compel them to behave but he was trying really hard not to manipulate people that way. Taking up his glass, he took a sip, then looked back at Geri... and yeah it was a slow rise to her eyes, but really, it couldn't be helped. They. Were. Right. There. "No Terri, tonight?"
Geri: "Hey, you don't have to explain it to me. Emilio pretty much told them all either take it or there's the door." And hiring valets would not be an issue. Eros wasn't just popular to go to, but also to work - if you were up for it that is. She took up a lean against the counter making them just seem like they'd fall out of the confines of that corset even though they were very much held in place. At the mention of Terri, however, Geri shifted her stance a bit. "She's here... just not... down here." Yes, she was being vague. Emilio and Geri both had to talk Terri into coming since they didn't want her to relapse into her reclusive shell again.
Alex Vipond: Alex nodded slowly and yes... he was momentarily distracted once more by that display but then he was looking back at Geri's face. "She busy upstairs..." Upstairs, further that is, and then he looked back at Geri, one brow rising as if questioning whether or not she was accepting company.
Geri: "No, not at all. In fact, if you'd like to try getting her to come down, you are welcome to do so." Geri replied encouragingly, she would even jot down Terri's cell on a napkin - not knowing that he had it already.
Alex Vipond: "Thanks." He smiled and pulled his phone, giving Terri a call as he leaned against the bar, free hand reaching for and picking up that glass of whiskey, a sip taken of it as he listened to the phone call ring through.
Terri x Kurai: Despite what Geri said, Terri was - in fact - busy... busy sulking. In the one place she knew no one would bother her, the VIP Lounge. Sitting in one chair, her legs were stretched across into another chair while her head was rolling back and eyes staring at the ceiling. She heard her phone going off on the table next to her and she groaned. "The fuck..." She grunted, reaching over and picking it up, looking at the name across the screen first before answering. "Hey." She greeted half-heartedly.
Alex Vipond: "hey...." She didn't sound very enthusiastic. "Everything okay?" He switched the phone to his other hand as he finally lit up a cigarette, and then he was reaching for his scotch again.
Terri x Kurai: "Oh everything's peachy... shittin' rainbows and all that..." Terri replied - a tinge of bitterness in her tone that she caught a little too late. Legs dropped to the floor as she slowly stood up. "You're downstairs aren't you?" She asked, listening to the background, her voice on the apologetic side without actually coming out and apologizing.
Alex Vipond: "As a matter of fact, I am." he smiled into the phone and then looked around, and yeah, was momentarily blinded by cleavage but he got over it fast enough. "I could use a drinking buddy."
Terri x Kurai: There was a pause while she looked down at the floor a moment after his statement. "Geri tell you to say that?" She asked suspiciously... it wouldn't surprise her if the busty tender did.
Alex Vipond: "No...." Now his own suspicion was rising. "Why would Geri tell me to say anything?"
Terri x Kurai: Well his question made her flop back into her seat again, an arm laying across her middle while she fidgeted with a chain on her black tail jacket. "Had an issue come up on Sunday, closed the club down for the day... haven't really been around since then." She admitted slowly.
Alex Vipond: "Everything taken care of?" Meaning if a cleaner was needed, was one called? "Sounds to me like you could use a drink and if you're not coming down, I'm coming up." And with that, he ended the call and dropped his phone back into his pocket, his whiskey and his cigarette in hand as he wound his way through the crowd to the stairs once more, and upward.
Terri x Kurai: "Yes-" She started and was ready to object to his coming up that she'd be down, but he hung up before she could object. With a sigh, she tossed the phone back on the table and got up, heading behind the bar for that stash, opening the bottle and taking a long drink while waiting. Black leggings with her usual knee high boots, lace top and the black leather tail jacket with three rows of change that hung between the eyelets on the front. The VIP Lounge though still colorful due to the decor, but it wasn't as vibrant since minimum lights were on.
Alex Vipond: Dimly lit, close intimate room. What could possibly go wrong? Alex wandered in, spotting her easily enough and heading for her. Taking up a lean against the bar where she was tapping her stash, he regarded her through the haze of smoke as he took a drag, and then lifted his glass for a sip. "So, how bad?"
Terri x Kurai: Nothing s'long as they behaved! She looked over at him when he walked over, tipping the bottle back again and listening before giving a light shrug. "Five of them... fucking idiots too... I honestly should feel like I did us all a favor..." Yep, now the flood gates were opened. "They were trying to audition for a spot and just kept botching every song... didn't help matters that all they were doing were covers." Another drink taken before giving a nod to him. "They tried doing a cover job of one of yours too... sounded like a screeching alley cat in heat."
Alex Vipond: "Clearly in need of schooling,” he took a sip of his whiskey, then popped his cigarette between his lips and then boosted his ass up onto the bar. "I take it they got more than schooled, though."
Terri x Kurai: "Schooled and a freak show." Terri replied, setting her bottle down and, with elbows propped up on the bar, cupped her face in her hands. "I drained one... Geri and Emilio took two... the last two were put down..." Her voice muffled against her palms.
Alex Vipond: "You're young still. It's going to take a while. Hell, I still have problems at times." he paused as he regarded her for a moment, before asking, "Did I tell you about Mexico?"
Terri x Kurai: "You are more forgiving than my Sire would be." She replied... "I told you of his threat.." That was more of a question than it was a reminder since she couldn't remember - she had told Raiun, but despite his so called promise to help he'd not been seen since. Hands were lowered, picking up the discarded bottle again, and looking over at him. "No. Tokyo, almost losing a shirt. Nothing about Mexico though."
Alex Vipond: Alex shook his head about the threat, then crushed out his cigarette and drew in a breath, "Year before last, my wolf brother goes missing. No sign of him, not even an itch in the back of my mind... All of which I thought was strange but never having been bonded to a lycan I didn't know how it worked. I presumed distance may dampen the signal, you know?" He drained his glass and set it down on the bar beside him. "So he and his brother, I mean actual sibling... disappeared and were gone for months and then one day I was walking across the parking lot, talking to a friend... Bren, I think you met her the other night, and suddenly, clear as crystal, was a voice in my head. I knew not only where he was but that he needed me. So, I go home, grab a back, leave a voice mail for my wife, and I fly down to Mexico." At his point he paused and lit up another smoke. He gave a sniff and then continued, "Found them without issue, took care of the cleanup, they'd been held captive in some kind of fighting ring where they were pitting shifters against other shifters, like cock or dog fights and betting on them..." It was barbaric in his mind, no matter who was doing the fighting, a pit bull, or a lycan. And coming from one of his kind, that was saying a lot.
Terri x Kurai: As he spoke, Terri - obviously - was hanging off every word. It was something new being told - wolf brothers, bonded to the shifters... of course one could assume these were things Emilio and Geri didn't tell her for their own reasons. She cringed when he spoke about the fight ring and looked away. "Who were they?" She asked, looking up at him again. "The ones that arranged the ring fighting I mean."
Alex Vipond: "No clue, really, just some scum bags looking to make a fast buck. Anyway, I start clean up on the mess, because there were a few dead folk around by the time I got there. Mars and Leland were pretty well toast and there was no way I could get them on any form of public transit in the condition they were in so I went and bartered a Jeep from an old man and we ... drove north to the border." He took another drag of his cigarette and shook his head. "Needless to say, it wasn't a pleasant ride. Middle of summer, and I had no supplies. Every Pemex station I hit for fuel, I also hit the attendant. Wiped it from his mind, got food for the boys, and drinks, and drove on. I had Meghan fly down to San Diego and rent a vehicle, then drive east to meet us at the border, but before we could get there, the people who owned the Jeep.... Wanted it back. Badly. Seemed I just happened to have had the good fortune to trade $200 US dollars for a beat to shit Jeep that just happened to have ten keys stuffed in the spare tire. Guess it's a good thing I didn't get a flat..."
Terri x Kurai: It took a minute for her to get what he meant by hitting the attendant, but pairing that with wiping their mind she was able to figure it out. She lifted her drink as he went on, taking a sip and lowering. "Ten keys...?" She repeated, frowning a bit. "Ten keys to what? And I'd say it's a good thing... you wouldn't be going far on that spare..."
Alex Vipond: "Ten kilos of high grade cocaine that was supposed to be going north across the border. We were between Hermosillo and Mexicali when they braced us. Two cars in front, two in the rear, two men each..." Alex paused, took another drag off his smoke, then flicked the ash into the tray. "We killed them all, Mars and me. I sank my teeth into one of them, used him and one other as a human shield as their partners opened fire on us..." Still, Alex had sunk his fangs deep into the asshole and nearly had him drained before he was shot dead. Still felt that terrible rhythm of his heart as it slowed and stopped, and with the sweet tang of his blood flowing over his tongue... Alex shook his head. "It took me the better part of six months before I could look at a human and not immediately want to sink my teeth into them."
Terri x Kurai: Keys... kilos... that 'ohh' look would be seen then before returning to listening. When he had finished - while he didn't speak it - Terri could relate to the horrible feeling of that slow heartbeat before their death. She drew herself up though, finishing off the bottle while looking at it then to Alex. "But that was a matter of life or death. Me? I lost it... wielding the shadows... if it's anything more than a little here and there..." Like that one day in Absinthe and Opium with Winnie. "Things get a little out of control and then that frenzy kicks in..."
Alex Vipond: "What horrified me, more than the killing of them, because face it, those assholes would sell out their own granny to sell their shit across the border and have done far, far worse.... No, killing them was not just a necessity it was a community service on both sides of the border..." He shook his head, took one last drag and then crushed his cigarette out, "No, what horrified me was the fact that I enjoyed it." Alex knew all about the frenzy. "People weren't safe around me, when I got back. Not even my own friends." He shook his head, then reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of his Doublemint and folded it between his teeth.
Terri x Kurai: Ah ha! And there it was... something to relate with... horrified of the pleasure derived from it. It was like a eureka feeling... "How did you pull out of it?" She asked, almost desperate for a solution to the problem. "Last time..." Yes, there had been another time she had fed off a human though it felt like ages ago. "Last time I shut myself up for months... I honestly can't remember what made me finally come out again." Probably cabin fever.
Alex Vipond: "Time. It's like being an alcoholic. You literally have to take it moment by moment. You can't look at the long term and say Never again, it doesn't work that way. And too, you have to realize that with time, and patience and care, you can feed off humans and not go ripper on them. Trinity actually helped in that regard, they have a rather large following of freshies who are just so very eager to be bitten. They get off on it, really they do. I had one chick literally cum when I sunk my teeth into her. It was kind of ... disturbing."
Terri x Kurai: "My first..." Because Mia would try to get her to bite humans, but she was still new vampire then and couldn't bring herself to do it. "He wanted me to turn him... make him like me. I didn't know how to do it... I mean, granted I was turned... but I sorta passed out when it started." Little awkward admittance there... "I refused at first... but sorta ended up liking him y'know? And then he tricked me into..." She fell silent after that, a shudder given. "I panicked... Emilio had to take care of it... and I... did pretty much what I'm doing now... holed myself up..."
Alex Vipond: "Siring offspring is not something you want to consider before you're at least at the century mark if not two. My one and only foray into ... parenthood, was forced on my be the city elders. Dude was a fucking moron. Refused to listen, refused to take heed of what I tried to teach him, got pissy if any of my time was spent anywhere but on him..." Alex shook his head. "Ended up in front of the city council, with both our necks on the line. Fortunately his own throughts betrayed him, and not only could he not shut up verbally, but he had to rail mentally against me and against the very council that was there to see to his disposition. In the end he was given a brief reprieve as one of the council elders wanted to take him under her wing.... It lasted a week and she was done with him, ripped his fangs out and left him bound in silver chains, awaiting the dawn."
Terri x Kurai: "I vowed never to take one. Not after what I've been through..." She replied with firm resolution. "And the day someone tries to make me? I'll up and leave. My Sires... they were like family at first... adopted me. Then one day both were gone." Oh one could feel the anger and bitterness in her voice there... "It had only been a year... one fucking year... and I wake up to an empty house. Then they came back, everything was as it was again... but they left a second time..." Ok, she lied about everything being as it had been. It hadn't been because she didn't trust them after that... and even now she still didn't. "Then three years later... one of them came back... and to this day I don't know how... but I killed her... I fucking beat the shit out of her and killed her..." She tensed for a moment before reaching into that stash again and grabbing another bottle. "And just a few months ago... the other one came back. Pissed off at me... like it'd all been my fault... because I killed her. And then he threatens to take away what he gave me? Like this was some kind of fucking gift..." Of course, when Akori said he was going to take it back, she knew what he meant... he'd kill her himself.
Alex Vipond: "He comes after you again, you call me, you understand?" Alex's eyes were on hers, and there was a hard edge to them. The bastard didn't deserve to be called sire. "You need any help, with anything, at any time and you call me."
Terri x Kurai: There was no stronger fear than the fear of abandonment, Terri had learned that the hard way. And for the longest time, the only people she grew to trust anymore were Emilio and Geri. Yet here Alex was, telling her to call him if Akori ever came back. It was a nice sentiment to think of... yet then again not. She hesitated a moment before finally opening the bottle. "If I need any help, I'll do that..." She said slowly, though calling him when Akori returned - if he returned - that... she couldn't swear to that. "Geri calls it a glutton for punishment..." Terri said, choosing her words carefully. "I hate him... I despise him to the point that I swear if I could he'd be in the same place as my other Sire..." She said, anger lining her tone again before seeming to give up and shake her head. "But... I couldn't... it's hard to explain..."
Alex Vipond: "I have a hate/hate relationship with my sire as well. She ... stalked me, for months she stalked me, then she courted me, I mean here was this gorgeous woman, who was so worldly and I was a young man just exploring the world and learning what life was about..." He paused and then lit up another cigarette, not bothering to spit his gum out as he did so. "After a few years, she turned me. She had completely filled my head. Compelled me. I lost all track of time. My sister had grown up and had a child of her own in the time I was gone. But once I was turned, the compulsion she used on me... the holes in my memory began to fill in. I grew resentful. Started fighting her at every turn. Finally she made the suggestion that I, a fledgling vampire, still not in control of his blood lust, go home. See my family. See what life there held for me..." He snorted derisively and took another drag. "She knew exactly what would happen. Except it wasn't my sister I drained dry, it was her daughter, my niece. Not that I knew that..." he shook his head and looked at Terri. "For almost seven centuries I carried the guilt of having slain my baby sister, and then I find, my sister alive... a vampire, and out to kill me...." He chuckled mirthlessly, "Alea was always good at revenge. She'd filled my sister's head with tales and got her to turn on me, not knowing the whole story, and for all those years she harbored a hatred born on lies, and half-truths. And when I found the truth..." He shook his head. It was like ripping that wound open all over again. Yes, my sister was alive, but her only child was dead."
Terri x Kurai: Terri blinked, listening to his tale between his Sire and himself... while it didn't sound like her situation... she wouldn't point that out. Though the only similarity in it would be how heart wrenching it was - though his was depressing while hers - she felt - was rather uplifting until she was turned and all hell broke loose. The tip of the bottle had been raised to her lips before she set it down and compulsively slid an arm around his shoulders - whether needed or not - and drew him into a gentle embrace for a brief moment then drawing back slowly. "That's terrible..."
Alex Vipond: "It was fucked. Still is. It's something I learned long ago, when I thought it was my sister, that I will have to live with for... ever. The fact that it was my niece and not my sister doesn't change that fact. It just deepens the wound." He leaned into her as she slipped her arm around him, and then straightened as she drew back. "Hey, what do you say we go find us some drunks to tap. Tap, wipe, send ‘em home in a cab..."
Terri x Kurai: Terri took a drink from her bottle when he talked about hitting some drunks and cracked a slow smile. "I don't think that's such a good idea... least not on my part." She replied - control issues remember? "But hey, don't let me ruin it. I'd offer to come along and watch, but that doesn't seem like a good idea either."
Alex Vipond: Alex chuckled, and shook his head. "We'll get you into Trinity, one day soon, and get you to where you can feed without going off the rails. It's a process. A long, slow one." He nodded, "But if you're willing, I'm game."
Terri x Kurai: Terri was skeptical about that... but, too, continuously drinking from this bottle... after having the real thing... it was a hard transition to get back to again. She stared at the bottle a moment... hesitant... before putting it to her lips and tossing it back - literally just chugging it down before it was finished. A little dribbled down the corner of her mouth, but that she caught it up with the edge of her palm then grabbed up the two empties to dispose of them on their way out. "Alright, but I'm not sure I'm crazy about the idea of biting into someone getting sexual gratification-" And she stopped... remembering then chuckling a bit. "Ok, I'm not too crazy about the idea of someone taking my biting them as a sexual favor when it's not." There, that was better... she hoped.
Alex Vipond: "Not all of them get off on it. Some just have a fetish. A need to belong in some small way. Then again, I think some are expecting us to sparkle when the sun comes out..." He rolled his eyes and slid off the bar.
Terri x Kurai: "A need to belong?" That made her cringe at the thought. "Before I was turned, I offered my wrist to my Sire... and it was only the one time, but he needed it..." And no, he hadn't asked for it nor had he expected her to do it. In fact, her offer was what started such a close bond between the two - that still lingered despite the hate she felt toward him.
Alex Vipond: "A friend of mine, offered her wrist to me, more or less as a here, try mine kind of thing... I didn't think anything of it, and neither did she but holy shit Meghan didn't like it."
Terri x Kurai: "Can't say I would be particularly keen about it either... but not for the same reasons she wasn't." Terri didn't like the thought of draining blood from a human... even if freely offered she'd fight to resist. Other than Winnie, she was good at keeping it under wraps what she was... Winnie was an accident and thankfully, for once, Emilio and Geri hadn't been there or else Terri wouldn't be friends with the bar owner. "Then again, I don't trust humans anyway so..."
Alex Vipond: "Some of my best friends have been human. Sucks when they go, though." He shook his head. "And not just due to age, they're so fucking fragile."
Terri x Kurai: "Winnie's been the only human friend I've had." Terri replied with a shrug of her shoulders. "And good fucking riddance I say to most of them... I swear those damn vampire movies don't help either. During some of the times my Sires were gone... you know how many crazy fuckers I ran into? They were self-proclaimed vampire hunters... I've been hunted, chased... Raiun - you remember him right? - he got me out of a tough spot once or twice with those idiots." And, because she was still 'young' it hadn't been hard for them to gain the upper hand either.
Alex Vipond: "They key is to not let them know what you are. How are you with compulsion?" Alex slipped out another cigarette and lit it up as he regarded her, then he motioned to a bottle of scotch behind the bar. "And can you slide that to me please?"
Terri x Kurai: "Compulsion?" She asked, brow raising a bit before looking to the scotch he motioned for and picked it up, handing it to him. "Back then I didn't have as much degree of control as I do now. That day you ran into me at the mall? I had only started going out like that about a couple years ago... I use the shadows to keep the sun's light away. Though it's more tiring during those times than at night."
Alex Vipond: "The vampire version of the Jedi mind trick. Can you read their thoughts?" That would be a good step toward controlling them. "If you want, I know a witch who can create a ring for you." He lifted his hand and flashed his at her. "Without this, I tend to get a little lobsterish."
Terri x Kurai: "Uh... no... least... I can't say I've really tried... but if we're talking Jedi mind tricks, I can do more than that." Terri replied. "If I assert myself, I can give a one word command to make someone do what I want... I can put thoughts in their minds that they otherwise wouldn't have..." Yeah, she was listing it off... she didn't know how much of what her kind did was similiar to his. "And if I really work at it, I can rewrite someone's memories or gradually make someone into a slave..." There was a moment of hesitation before adding on. "But I never use any of them really... the one that comes natural the most are the shadows..."
Alex Vipond: "Yes, that's what we call compulsion. You need to practice that; it will be your best friend. Granted you don't want to use it for frivolous things but in order to practice, you'll really have to."
Terri x Kurai: "That's what I have Emilio and Geri for... I had two Sires... both were from different bloodlines... and so I inherited from both somehow." She didn't understand how it worked entirely... all she knew was that the second she awakened she learned the Lasombra bloodline was dominate otherwise she wouldn't of been able to wield shadows. "Emilio is from one and Geri the other... and he's the one that has me practice what you call compulsion, we call Dominate," though he hadn't gotten her to practice in a while.
Alex Vipond: "Now see? That two sire thing, I don't understand how that works. I mean how do they both turn you? And Geri and Emilio... they're not the ones who turned you, they're your mentors, yes? So you don't share their blood lines."
Terri x Kurai: "Akori is of the Lasombra bloodline, so is Emilio... Mia was Brujah and so is Geri... each one has their own disciplines that can only be taught by vampires that have them." Terri was honestly just borderline confusing herself with the explanation and she just shook her head. "I have a book, at home, that explains everything... Emilio gave it to me. What I can tell you is when I was turned... both of them did it. They drained me, then fed me their blood... at the same time... I only remember flashes..."
Alex Vipond: "They wanted a childe together." He shook his head. "But then they left you, not once but twice." He shook his head. "I don't get that. Did they offer up any explanation at all?"
Terri x Kurai: "Yes... they had adopted me, like parents... not that I really saw them as such... we were a family though." And Terri had loved the feeling... "Akori had said something about a Purge... and that their leaving was to protect me from it? He never fully explained... he said they had left to make me stronger and he was pissed off because I hid instead..." That conversation was playing in her mind now... almost expecting Akori to come in through the shadows even now... he was able to travel through them, wielding them in ways she could only imagine.
Alex Vipond: "A purge.... and they leave you behind, unable to fend for yourself..." Sounded to him like their deeds had caught up to them and they were bailing to save their own necks and left Terri behind so that she could bear the brunt of rage being directed at them. "Alea is of the Dragon bloodline. A line of warriors..." Alex smirked. "Do I look even remotely like a warrior?" Granted his family was of royal blood and yes, more than a few knights had been spawned from their family tree. "Edward is actually a relation, though distant. His grandfather married my cousin's daughter..." he had to stop and think on that one... "Isabella was Philip's daughter and yes, she married Edward II." He nodded. "But I am as far removed as a warrior as one can get. I held no interest in war, or combat or even jousting. Music was always my love. I think it was Philip's hope that when he sent me abroad I would get over it."
Terri x Kurai: The bond between Terri and Akori was... well... hard to explain and any thought of trying to break free, which was probably what Akori wanted, was painful - least for her. She listened to him and gave a shadow of a smile before shaking her head at his warrior question. "No, but looks can be deceiving." She replied, jokingly, shifting a bit. "Akori taught me how to play, showed me his collection of instruments from various time periods and his travels." And that music room was still intact, not a thing changed.
Alex Vipond: "I've got quite a collection myself but it's mostly guitars. The studio... they line the walls. I'll have to show you one day." He smiled, the bottle picked up and his glass refilled. Lifting it, he took a good drink of it, and then held it up as if studying it. "Booze... helps take the edge off the cravings."
Terri x Kurai: "I'd like that..." She said with a nod, then stretched a bit before looking around. "I'm starting to think it may be best to call it a night... " She added slowly - mun starting to doze off at random intervals here. She extended her arm to hug him again though her chin rested on his shoulder. "Thanks... y'know, for talking things out and all.." She said, a platonic kiss placed to his cheek at that before stepping back. "Maybe tomorrow you can show me how to do this feeding thing properly...." If she was feeling better about it by then.
Alex Vipond: "Be happy to." he smiled, drained his glass and then leaned into that kiss, returning one to her cheek in kind, before sliding off the bar. "I'm gonna go home and make sure Gus hasn't eaten the house."
