Alex Vipond: Alex had a map and a plan. Or rather he had a route mapped up in his phone app, that optimized the route between the houses on his phone and now he was heading for the first one on the list. "I found five that if I were looking for a house, I would buy." He looked over at Lana in the passenger seat of the Benz. The day was clear, but cold as fuck, or at least it was to Alex. 37° to Alex was cold. Any of that single digit crap, and Alex's narrow ass was on a plane to an elsewhere. "Well, just from the listing, I would be interested, I wouldn't buy without a walk through and a report..."
insidious pneuma: "Five, hm?" Lana had tucked herself into the passenger seat of the Benz on that ridiculously chilled day, having silently lamented about the prickling of her skin due to rampant goose bumps. Thankfully, the interior of the vehicle remained warmer than the outside temperature, so she'd finally semi-reclined in the seat with a lazy cross of her legs at the knees -- while perusing whatever pictures and the like she had access to. "What about this house makes you say that?" Baby blue hues cut over in his direction, a single brow arching up while she fussed with the neat bun that she'd fixed her hair up into earlier. Almost sexy librarian-esque, or museum curator -- which was the job she'd be meandering off to later.
Alex Vipond: "This first one on Laurelhurst has a lake front view from the back of the house, and a terraced garden leading down to the boat dock. So you got views and water access... If that's your thing. The house itself is gray and white, which granted not thrilling, but stately and can be changed. The interior shots are warm and inviting, with an understated elegance."
insidious pneuma: "It sounds like the views might be well worth the look, to start." Her gaze began to meander over through the windshield as she tried to imagine the views themselves, an endeavor that would prove less than fruitful -- and useless, particularly when they were going to take a peek in person anyhow. It came about suddenly, without so much as a warning before the words slipped out from her mouth... "Thank you, by the way." A partial smile tugging at the corner of her lips then, and though she genuinely meant it in a variety of ways... she decided on at least offering him a touch of insight as to her thanks. "For taking time out of your schedule to help."
Alex Vipond: "That's what friends do." He chuckled as they came to the first house, pulling up out in front of the stately gray and white Tudor-esque two story.

Alex Vipond: "There is a certain charm to it from the curb, and you can see Mt. Ranier and the Cascades as well."
insidious pneuma: A quiet chuckle erupted in response to his words, followed by a nod as she turned her head and ducked down a touch to peer out through the passenger window... "Ooh, I do like the tower-esque appearance." She had lived in her fair
share of castles in her so-called lifetime, go figure that she'd pick that particular feature out. "But you're right on the colors..." She offered a sidelong glance in his direction, before she let her hand fall down upon the latch mechanism of the seatbelt; though hesitating shortly afterward. "Did you want to window shop, so I don't keep you all day? Or take a peek inside, too?" Was she high? Apparently she had some concerns about jeopardizing the entiretyof his day with this particular adventure.
Alex Vipond: Killing the engine, Alex slid out of the car, looking the place over and then he turned to study the neighboring homes as well. There was nothing directly across the street, the two houses there were oblique to the house being looked at, which would give the front view from the house more or less the back yard of the one. Not a bad view, from the front. Alex looked over at Lana. "Shall we go...." And there was the realtor, stepping out of the house to come and greet them.
insidious pneuma: Soft lips tugged at one corner as she offered up a hint of a smirk, digits pressing into the buckle release before fingers carefully opened the door, white and black pumps clicking gently against the asphalt of the road as she popped up from the interior of the Benz. Gently nudging the door to a close, she nodded in his direction before gently swatting his arm with the pearl-hued clutch purse within her grasp. She was apparently a little excited!
Alex Vipond: Alex dropped his voice. "Don't look too excited and don't fall in love with the first one. If you do fall in love with one, don't show it...." He then smiled at the realtor and offered the woman his hand. "Hi, thanks for meeting us." The woman smiled in return and offered her hand to each of them. Her name was Gabrielle, but her friends all called her Gabi, which sounded more like Gah bee, than gabby and she was a total fan, and had to get that out there before she tripped. She was humorous and polite and then she was all down to business as she led them through on the walk through.
insidious pneuma: "Shouldn't be a problem," she replied cooly as she withdrew her purse wielding hand, acknowledging that she was perfectly capable of failing to display emotions -- or at least admit to having them. Nostrils flared with an inward pull of air to fill her lungs, and once Alex had given a shake of his hand to the woman; the brunette followed suit shortly thereafter. It didn't take long for a knowing little expression to settle upon her features as the realtor admitted to being a fan, to which Lana casually replied with something akin to... “Yes, I haven't met a single person who hasn't[/i] liked him. Whatever else lingered in her brain was filed away for the time being as they took the tour, with the brunette lingering here and there -- particularly in the kitchen and the master bath, two places she was a bit of a stickler about. She didn't pull punches, but she did admit to enjoying a few things here and there, "The view appears lovely from most windows, but the bathrooms..."
Alex Vipond: "Let's wander down to the dock, check the cabana, see what it's like." He just wanted to be nosy. Gabi didn't push, simply pointed out the highlights, such as the water rights and the proximity to key elements in the neighborhood, shopping and cafes that were within walking distance, with easy access to downtown and the University of Washington. Alex smiled and listened and then headed down the winding stairs through the terraced garden to the lawn that led to the dock. If he had a smaller boat... or rather one that was his and his alone... not belonging to LFE, he'd be all over that.
insidious pneuma: Of course Alex would suggest taking the stairs while she was wearing those heels, and whlie some may have been annoyed -- she found herself somewhat amused at being presented the opportunity to test her balance and reflexes. She took her time descending the stairs, turning ever so often so she could take in the whole 360 degree view... until she was finally on the landing, and trailing lazily after Alex. "Want to help me buy a boat?" Small hands clasped her elbows as her arms crossed just beneath the curve of her bosom; crystalline blues refusing to allow Alex to fill the majority of her vision.
Alex Vipond: "I can do that." He nodded. Alex actually liked shopping. Especially if it was for toys. Big toys, little toys, didn't matter. Alex wandered down to the end of the dock and looked down into the water, then out across the lake, watching the water traffic, what there was of it to be seen.
insidious pneuma: "If I wind up with a dock, anyway." There was a hint of a smirk at the words as one hand rose up to act as a visor so she could rake her gaze across the horizon. As clear as it was, she could see every inch of the view -- which she enjoyed in the silence that followed, before finally dropping both hands down to her hips. "Exterior paint, bathroom remodel, and get rid of that rock climbing area... make it a theatre room, perhaps. The second dwelling is nice, privacy for guests that might stay for an extended period of time." A pause before she pivoted to peer up the stairs in the direction of the realtor, pursing her lips as she considered the option carefully -- but she'd come to the conclusion that she wasn't immediately in love with the house, so obviously she'd need to see more. "Ready to see another option?"
Alex Vipond: "Yep, on to the next." Alex nodded, and smiled to Gabi. The decision of course wouldn't be made on a first viewing and likely not on a second or third, but Lana would be able to weed out the definitely nots from the possibles. Hiking back up the hill, Alex looked at her. "I kind of liked the rock climbing room," his lips twitched and yeah, one could see the devilment in the green eyes. That impish grin that spoke volumes as to just how he could see his time spent there. Back up at the street, Alex unlocked the car and popped open the door as Gabi locked up the house. "We'll meet you at the next one." he waved to her and then moved to slide in behind the wheel.
insidious pneuma: Dammit. His statement about the rock climbing room caused her to misstep, and nearly eat shit while walking up the stairs -- thankfully snagging the railing to catch herself before she face planted. She tried to keep a straight face, desperately attempting to put any other image than white knuckling those rocky grips, ropes and... managing to compose herself, she continued ascending the stairs. The tiny twitch to both eyebrows indicated she was still trying to sift through randomized, non-house shopping images bouncing through her brain... and when they finally slipped into the car, her features finally split with a shit-eating grin. "Maybe that house has some hope after all."
Alex Vipond: Alex cracked the fuck up at that, and started the car, checking traffic before pulling away from the curb and heading for the next stop at 7450 E Green Lake.
Alex Vipond: www.sothebysrealty.com/eng/sales/detail/180-l-638-9lh4sn/green-lake-drive-seattle-wa-98115
Alex Vipond: Literally, the view across the street was the lake, granted it was a smaller lake, but it was a lake and rather charming at that. The fact that there were no houses to obstruct one's view to the parkland that surrounded the lake and the water itself was a bonus as well.
insidious pneuma: She bore a smile upon her features the entire ride over toward the next house, making sure to pay attention to the sights along the way -- taking note of shops, the general feel of the neighborhood, nightlife activities. Granted,
she hadn't exactly been paying attention to how far it was from the usual haunts -- something she'd have to take into account, and likely would need to make the additional purchase of a car in the near future. "Hmm..." she mused quietly to herself as they approached, it didn't quite have the same curb appeal as the other one -- but the first impression of the large window on the top floor, and the red trim of the doors? Well, it was a good start... "Smaller than the other one, but looks like it has good bones. Shall we?" She didn't linger within the car for too long, choosing to escape from the interior and stand on the walk with her gaze sweeping along the view.
Alex Vipond: Shutting the car down Alex slipped out and swung the door shut, then turned to look at the view the house had. "Yeah, but look across the street..." It was nice, pleasant. Relaxing, in point of fact, and then Gabi was pulling in behind them and she smiled to them as she headed up the walk to the door, using her code to pop the lock box and get the key out. Opening up the house, she stepped back to let them be first through the door.
insidious pneuma: In truth, Lana hadn't even noticed that Gabi had pulled up; not with her attention flickering back and forth between the view and Alex -- and nodding thoughtfully. A tiny uplift at the corner of her mouth then, before she pivoted slowly and turned to ascend the stairs in the direction of the door... issuing a nod of thanks to the realtor, before making her way inside. Admittedly, the interior seemed warmer than the other house -- at least in her opinion; andthe fireplace was definitely a nice touch. With a fairly open floorplan, it meant that she could easily see straight through the majority of the main floor; occasionally pausing to take in a bit of the detail in the finishes. "Firstimpression?" Baby blues shifted their gaze over toward Alex, genuinely curious as to what his feelings on it from the get-go were... outside of that view, anyway.
Alex Vipond: "It's got nice flow. The outdoor areas have pull. It's not huge which you didn't want, and I like the workspace in the garage." Not that she'd have a need for such, but Alex liked having work space. He liked, believe it or not, making things and had even promised Terri an entertainment center, which he still needed plans for. "Definitely a possibility."
insidious pneuma: "Maybe I'll put an art and music studio there," she suggested then, utilizing her imagination to fill the blank spaces -- much like a painter would do to a canvas. Now, she'd made that suggestion; but made no attempt to clarify as to what musical instruments, or art, she engaged in. Heels gently clicked against the floor before she took to the stairs, peeking around in the master bedroom and peering through the windows at the view that seemed to stretch on forever. That was when she spotted the patio area, she took the stairs back down rapidly and escaped into the rear of the house to explore a little more. "Hey, does this have docking rights?" Because the zoo was across the way, and she loved those exotic animals.
Alex Vipond: She was a closet tubist. Or would be if the tuba fit in the closet. Alex followed her around, checking everything out and he had to admit the house had not just good bones but a lot of potential. Whereas the first one had understated elegance this one had stated elegance. Gabi informed her that no, there was no private docking, with the house, there was a boat rental place near the tennis courts that offered paddleboats, canoes and kayaks.
insidious pneuma: She actually wound up wearing a soft pout upon her features at the mention that there were no docking rights, her gaze cutting over toward Alex with a crinkle to her nose. "So, maybe no boat shopping..." A quiet chuckle under her breath then as she took to spinning slowly upon the main floor, acknowledging that she was going to need to fill whatever house she had with new furniture -- or old new, depending on if she wanted the mystery of antiques here and there. No tubist, by the way... she'd probably disappear behind it anyway, awkward. "Alright, wanna check out the next?" Hands clasped gently before her as she drew her gaze between Gabi and Alex then, a flutter of lashes following shortly thereafter.
Alex Vipond: "Well, we're not done looking yet. We've got three more to check." Alex nodded. "Let's roll." he headed back out to the car, Lana's door opened for her before he moved to the driver's side and slid in. Starting the car up, he headed for the next destination which was right near Discovery Park.
Alex Vipond: www.sothebysrealty.com/eng/sales/detail/180-l-638-487vvy/ni-taki-house-seattle-wa-98199
Alex Vipond: Out of the five listings he'd chosen, this was the one he was most interested in seeing, with its split level design, private, Japanese courtyard that lead up to the front doors by way of bridge, it had more charm than anything he'd seen on the market in a good while.
insidious pneuma: A sidelong glance offered toward Alex with a nod and a smile, pausing just as they left to fool around with the double-wide French doors... before traipsing down the stairs to slide into the passenger side once he'd opened thedoor. "I'm thinking I like number two better than number one, but lord... I'd love to have a dock. Not that I know how to pilot a boat, but whatever." The soft snickering that she'd allowed to slip free died off as they rolled up tothe next destination, and she practically thrust her face against the passenger side window. "Holy..." Well, clearly this was going to be a good one if one were to judge from her initial reaction. The minute he eased the car to a stop, she was practically jumping from the car to take in the image laid out before her. It was like her own little Japanese sanctuary!
Alex Vipond: Alex just grinned as he killed the engine and slid out. With Gabi there to let them in through the gate, Alex waited for Lana to step through first. He was already of the opinion that if she didn't buy it, he would, just for the garden alone. Hands in his pockets he followed the ladies, listening to Gabi's heels tap across the bridge as she moved to the door to unlock it.
insidious pneuma: She wanted to gush over the house, the attention to detail that gave her a sense of serenity upon arrival -- but she remembered what Alex had said at the first house. So, she remained mainly composed as they finally made their way inside... Teeth snagged her lower lip as she stepped within, her gaze instantly sliding across every single bit and piece that fit together like an elegant puzzle. The main sitting area was a force to be reckoned with, what with the large rock fireplace feature -- and that wall of windows, well... the view was spectacular. Judging from her silence, it was either that she hated it... or was too excited to trust her mouth.
Alex Vipond: "What about the furnishings? Do they convey?" usually not but occasionally, rarely, one would find that such was the case. Alex liked the place as it was, and really wouldn't change a thing.... except maybe the African motif in the guest bath that really didn't fit ... anything else in the house.
insidious pneuma: That bathroom was exactly what Lana was staring at with a ghastly expression upon her features, turning to peer over at Alex with a wtf were they thinking glance. "It's very serene, and the additional kitchen is a bonus, especially with the view." Lana actually strolled over in the direction of the main living area again, gently easing herself onto the couch so she could take in the view from a relaxed position -- tilting her head just enough to shoot a smile in Alex's direction with a nod of approval. "These furnishings are just about perfect, so I'd either have to match... or get them to include them in an arranged price." Her lips pressed into a thin line, followed by a soft pop as she eased her body back up to a stand.
Alex Vipond: When Gabi said the furniture conveyed, that it was in fact an estate sale, Alex nodded and looked over at Lana. He didn't say a word, simply lifted one brow in question, before he nodded to Gabi. "Okay, let's see the other two."
insidious pneuma: Aw man, someone probably died in that house -- probably wouldn't be the last, if Lana wound up living here. That thought almost made her choke upon her own spit, though she managed to prevent that embarrassing moment and slinked right on over in Alex's direction... nodding as she thudded her clutch purse against her palm quietly. As they exited the house, she actually cast a glance back over her shoulder; before leaning in to murmur into Alex's ear. "Wine room, too." Hell, she knew people who had hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of wine stashed... join the ranks!
Alex Vipond: "Wine room indeed." he nodded. He could store bottled blood in there, without taking up fridge space. Was it bad that he had a hard on for a house? Back out to the car, he pulled Lana's door open and then laughed. "You could have a boat stand built." Rounding the nose of the Benz, Alex slid behind the wheel, and started it up, following Gabi to the next house.
www.sothebysrealty.com/eng/sales/detail/180-l-638-zhsz9d/1318-42nd-ave-sw-seattle-wa-98116
Alex Vipond: This one took a little longer to get to, as it was across Elliot Bay, but it too was near a park and near the water, though not as close as the others. It was cute though.
insidious pneuma: She might very well have teased Alex over having a hardon over a house if she'd known, though she wasn't exactly staring at his groin the entire day -- not that he was physically sporting a ridiculous boner anyhow. Gabi probably would've been paying a hell of a lot more attention to him if that'd been the case! At the mention of possibly having a boat stand built, she nodded with a slow little grin. "That I could, now if only I could pretend like I didn't see the bathroom decor. Slightly distracting from the overall beauty of the house." In any case, she slipped on into the Benz and latched her seatbelt... reclining with a half-smile while they drove. Upon arrival, however, she actually delivered a nod of approval... "It's got character," too bad it wasn't directly on the waterfront! But she was pulling herself from the vehicle to take a good look at it anyhow... taking note of the multitude of windows the house sported.
Alex Vipond: "It does." Killing the engine, Alex looked at the house through the windshield, leaning forward as he did so, before he popped his belt and slid out. Swinging the door shut, he followed Gabi up the walk to the front door. And though it wasn't on the waterfront it wasn't terribly far. Alex waited for the ladies to step in before he followed, taking a look around the place and nodding appreciatively.
insidious pneuma: Once they managed to make their way inside, it was clear that they'd gone to quite a bit of trouble to decorate the interior -- the beams overhead, the color schemes, well... color her impressed. Heels gently clicked against thefloor as she meandered within, the kitchen was massive... well, everything seemed supersized, in a way. It was likely the way they'd constructed the interior, but she wouldn't have imagined it to be considering the apparently thicker walls. Bonus. "What it lacks in view, it certainly makes up for in the quality department..." A singular spin in place to take in the views from 360 degrees, before she shot Alex a smile. "What do you think?" Oh, just wait until she saw the bathroom... lord have mercy.
Alex Vipond: Time Lord home construction. Everything is bigger on the inside. "It's got views too, just right up on the water the way the others did." He nodded. He had to admit he was impressed. When he wandered into the bath, he called out... "Lana..." he looked over at her and grinned, then stepped back so she could step past him.
insidious pneuma: She cocked a brow momentarily as he called out her name, pulling herself away from her wayward stare out through one of the windows... and with a few more steps, she made her way in his direction; only to practically scream like a fucking fangirl. Okay, technically it was a muted squeal that she clamped her hand over her mouth to silence it... Muffled words escaped through the gaps between her fingers, "Oh. My. God." Then what did she do? Well, she took the time to peel her shoes off of her feet and hop into the tub to recline and sprawl...
Alex Vipond: Alex cracked the hell up, watching her, taking up a lean in the doorway. "Of course you'll have to resign yourself to drawing the window coverings or putting on a show whenever you bathe..."
insidious pneuma: "Don't be jealous that you won't be able to watch the show from your place..." With that, she stuck out her tongue in his direction and sank further down itno the tub for a few moments... before her hands clutched the lip of it, and she was easing out from the interior so she could reclaim her shoes. Wriggling each foot into the corresponding shoe while she sat on the edge of the tub, she took another glance around the room -- good view, fireplace, wall of mirrors... yeah, she definitely was sold. On the bathroom, at least.
Alex Vipond: "Shower has a body spa...." he wagged his brows at her.
insidious pneuma: "Well then..." she began as she rose up to a stand, leaning in to take a peek at the shower with a little bit of a smirk. "Guess I wouldn't be needing any massages for stress reduction." A nod of approval as she backtracked from the bathroom, before making her way through the various bedrooms; and then finally through the entertainment and/or media room. "Such hard decisions... so very hard."
Alex Vipond: Alex followed her out and nodded. "You'll have to choose those you like best and then do another walk through. And maybe a third, before you really decide." These things took time.
insidious pneuma: "Can I just... buy them all, and put them together like puzzle pieces, throw away what I don't like?" She was teasing, at least on the puzzle piece part... she'd saved up enough money over the years, along with her other possessions that could garner a small fortune apiece. After wandering out onto the deck, she gripped her upper arms with each hand and nodded slowly at the view... he was right, it may not have been waterfront, but it was high enough that she wasn't forced to stare at houses all day.
Alex Vipond: Stepping out with her he nodded at the view. "It doesn't get much better than that." He leaned against the rail and pulled his smokes, slipping one between his lips but he refrained from lighting up. He wouldn't. Not here, not even on the deck of a house that was up for sale. All it would take is one sensitive nose to take offense and a sale could be lost. Bet him once they were back on the street he'd take the time to suck that fucker down though. "We still have one more. If you're of a mind to look."
insidious pneuma: "Mm..." She murmured softly from her forward lean against the railing, finally turning to fixate her gaze upon him as he took to pulling out a cigarette. She offered no words, as he hadn't gone and lit up... but soon she was nodding when he mentioned there was one more to see. "I'm ready to see another one, yes." One hand snuck up to flick her fingertips against the bun at the back of her head, before casting her gaze down toward the floor and continuing her steps over to the place she'd last spotted the realtor.
Alex Vipond: Alex moved back through the house and out to the car. Gabi was there, where they'd left her and she smiled at them as they headed back her way. Alex leaned against the front fender of the Benz and lit his smoke, taking a look around the neighborhood. It was a nice place, a nice house.
insidious pneuma: "Thank you, Gabi... we're going to want to see one more today." Lana offered up to the woman as they approached, though she didn't quite linger around the woman -- choosing to stroll along the sidewalk while Alex nursed his cigarette. With the vehicle he drove, there was the assumption that smoking simply wasn't allowed inside... at least, that's probably how she would have it if she'd been the owner. Turning her head just a touch, she canted her head just a touch... and it hit her. The exterior of this particular house reminded her of a beachy-feel... maybe she'd throw some sand down somewhere, plant a palm tree.
Alex Vipond: Once Lana and Gabi were ready to roll, Alex rolled the fire out of his smoke and stuffed the rest of the Camel back into the pack. Dropping them into his jacket pocket, he pulled Lana's door open and then headed around to the driver's side. It was off to the last house of the day.
www.sothebysrealty.com/eng/sales/detail/180-l-638-tnfmp7/federal-ave-e-seattle-wa-98102
Alex Vipond: Pulling up out front, Alex killed the engine and leaned across to look at the house. "It's got curb appeal."
insidious pneuma: "That it does," she offered a soft little smile in his direction as he leaned over, lingering inside the cabin of the vehicle for a few moments longer than prior -- perhaps she was recalling some of the details of former homes, it reminded her a bit of a modest Italian Villa... Teeth ensnared her lower lip before she peered over at him with a little smile, motioning toward the house lying just beyond the sidewalk. "Ready to take a peek?" Gabi was probably just a minute or two behind them, so at least they wouldn't have to wait too long to get inside.
Alex Vipond: Leaning back a bit and looking at her, Alex nodded. "I am." Popping his belt and then the door, he slid out, and looked around as he swung the car door shut. Gabe was there, already up the steps and unlocking the place.
insidious pneuma: When he stepped out and closed the car door, she groaned and considered face palming herself... She was being so good! Finally, she popped the door open and inched out as well, letting the door close behind her as she carefully stepped up onto the sidewalk... "After you?" A sweep of her hand with a soft chuckle, both brows arching up playfully with the gesture... she held her position until he passed, or refused, of course.
Alex Vipond: Chuckling, he stepped through first, trying to wipe out the visions of the houses seen previously as he did so. He didn't want to compare just yet, simply experience but he was having a hard time with it. The last two had been quite something. The first two, sadly, were a distant memory.
insidious pneuma: A simple smile was offered toward Gabi as she followed up the steps shortly after Alex, only to step through the doorway to feast her eyes upon the interior. It was different than the others, suggested more of an artistic approach to design... almost reminiscent of bygone eras, yet with a few modern touches. Lana turned this way and that to take in the sights -- noting that the kitchen was a little closed in, but she did rather enjoy the formal dining area. "I like it... but... I'm having trouble trying to figure out why." She was more or less talking to herself, something she'd done countless times before in her life... There was a hint of a smile when she spotted the baby grandpiano tucked into the corner of one room; at least she knew she'd be able to fit one there -- and perhaps play sometime. "Very light... the floor to ceiling windows work wonders."
Alex Vipond: It was simple, elegant, and every view out of the windows were privacy enshrouding trees. They didn't completely obscure the view of the neighbors but they came close. "I like it..." It was then Alex felt the pull, and he stopped in his tracks. Not just Mars but Meghan as well, he could feel them as if the connection between them were being tugged on, played with. It was through Mars' eyes that he saw Lux. He'd not seen her in two years, but there she was, and she was with Mars. The sensation left him leaning against the wall of the house they were looking at, trying to catch his breath. It wasn't the same sensation he'd felt when Cas had gut raped him, but it was a definite presence, and the pull was felt.
insidious pneuma: "Alex?" She blinked as he stopped and became deadly still for a moment, she'd been just about to ask him another question when she'd spotted him looking... well, slightly out of sorts. Heels skittered across the floor as she closed the distance between herself and the man, who had eventually come to rest up against the wall of the house -- baby blues flickering over his image in search of some sort of injury. "Alex, what's wrong?" She leaned over to take a better look at him then, trying to figure out how she could help -- or, if she could.
Alex Vipond: "We need to go." he looked up at Lana from his slightly bent over position. "Can you drive?" He'd not asked before, but now it was kind of critical. He didn't want this, or worse, happening when he was driving.
insidious pneuma: "Tell me where we need to go, I can get us there." She nodded firmly as she reached out to help pull him upright, motioned to Gabi in the meantime... "We have to go, I'm sorry... we'll uh, we'll call." It didn't matter where they were going, because she wasn't waiting -- she'd be pulling him out in the direction of the car, even fishing out those keys if he didn't have them at the ready.
Alex Vipond: "Home." Was the word gasped out as they made their way back to the car. Fortunately the last house on the list had also been one of the closest to his own; and no more than five minutes away.
