Alex Vipond: Alex had been slacking, a lot, lately and it was time to get his ass in gear and get back to work, which was what he was doing. He wasn't, however at the mic. Or the keyboard, and he didn't have a guitar in hand. What he did have, was a mouse as he was layering in the tracks he'd already recorded. The front door of the studio was unlocked, though no one was at the desk. He really needed to get someone hired. A couple some ones even. Ian was going to be stopping by later and that would, if he was interested, take care of one warm body to fill a seat and get things done.
Terri x Kurai: Terri had opted for walking versus driving, hands in the pockets of her black leather pants with spikes studs on the rear pockets. A dark red spaghetti strap top was paired with a black fringe vest and the usual boots. At first she bypassed the studio doors with a little more than a sideways glance... but then stopped and backtracked. A test nudge (or pull) was given to the door, finding it unlocked, and opened it up to poke her head inside then walked in the rest of the way. "Hello...?"
Alex Vipond: Thank God for good hearing. Alex saved his work alt tabbed to his browser and shut it down. He didn't need anyone seeing his search history, at least, not yet. Rising from the chair, he stepped out of the control room and headed for the front, a grin given Terri. "Hey, still around I see." Alex gave her a hug and then dropped his ass onto the conference room table. "I wasn't sure if you guys were heading back to New York before we took off for the weekend or what."
Terri x Kurai: Oh like Terri would go snooping?! Nice lack of trust there... "That would be about pointless..." Pause when returning hug and laughing a little. "Oh, you mean like going back to New York and just meeting up with everyone from there?" She asked when he plopped down, giving a shake of her head with a shrug of the shoulders. "Eh, there's been a few set backs on my new business venture anyway so no real hurry right now."
Alex Vipond: "Makes it easier if you don't have anything pressing to attend to." Wasn't a lack of trust, he just didn't trust himself to keep his mouth shut if anyone saw what he was googling. "Are you guys flying with us, or separately?" That Alex wasn't certain of. "We can carry eight on the plane, with the four crew members, so it would be good to have a head count beforehand."
Terri x Kurai: He had a plane too? Oh boy... "Well I can't speak for Raiun and Ember, but I'll fly with you guys if it's alright." She replied with a shrug of her shoulders, that necklace had become more of a fidgeting source than much else. "So, working on anything new?" Change of subject was always good.
Alex Vipond: Corporate jet that he jacked from time to time for personal use. He rationalized it as he owned LFE and LFE owned the jet so... as long as it wasn't currently in use, he'd take it out from time to time. Or loan it out for a covert op... "Sounds good." he nodded. "Figure we'll leave Friday, whenever everyone's ready. Hopefully by around noonish." Which meant anywhere from eleven to one.
Terri x Kurai: "I'll make sure to set the alarm." She replied with a chuckle, finally taking a seat in one of the chairs herself and stretching her legs out, crossing one over the other under the table. "I have to admit, I've never been to the Bahamas. Too much sun for my Sires." She said with a chuckle.
Wrinkled Black: How about loaning it out so Adrienne could head down to Oregon to the nearest In N Out? She should never have insisted stopping at one while in Los Angeles. McDonald's would just have to do for her chocolate shake fix, since the nearest Jack in the Box was up in the University District. Pass. She was still suckin' on that straw when she stepped through the front door, don't mind her.
Alex Vipond: "Well they could probably stand a little bling," he chuckled. When Adrienne walked in, Alex's eyes cut toward the door and he grinned. "Hey!" He slid from his half assed, literally, perch on the conference room table to round the front desk to greet her, if he could pry that straw from her lips any time soon.
Wrinkled Black: In jeans and a plain white tee (ha!), Adrienne was tucking her car keys into her front pocket and getting one final slurp from the cup before she was beaming at the both of them. "Hi!" Alex got a kiss--even before she fished out the cherry from the bottom, go him--and Terri got a smile. "Not interrupting, am I?" Hey, she knew they were good friends, she didn't want to interrupt any bonding time.
Terri x Kurai: Terri looked from Alex to Adrienne when she came in and returned the smile with a wave and nod. "Nah... I wouldn't do anything with Alex that you couldn't interrupt." Teasing wink given there. "How're you tonight?"
Alex Vipond: "We're talking about the trip. Terri and Ember will be flying down with us." He nodded, then checked his watch, which out of habit, he wore on his right wrist. It was easier when he was playing that way. "Ian should be in soon, and I want to give him a run through the place and let him know kind of what I need, before tossing him out elsewhere to see if it's a better fit." He looked between them. "Basically I called first dibs."
Terri x Kurai: "First dibs? On what?" She asked, one of her pierced brows raising. "What did I miss?"
Wrinkled Black: "I'm good! Gonna start losing track of which trip is which here soon, though..." It was a playful grouse as she took a lean against the conference table, very much like he'd been doing earlier, then started to go hunting for the
Ian Lighter: :: and Alex's prediction was accurate, as Ian slid into the studio, having been let in by security::
Wrinkled Black: cherry from her shake, looking up at Terri's question. "Yeah, say what now?" She was lost.
Terri x Kurai: He got the attention from security? So unfair...
Ian Lighter: ::i believe they were told to allow him in::
Alex Vipond: Not much in the way of security. At least not personnel wise. You had the door, the front desk, and the conference room which was open and behind the front desk. Hearing the arrival, Alex moved for the door, and gave a grin and offered his hand. "Hey, Ian, we were just talking about you. Come on back." he hooked a thumb over his shoulder toward the conference room, then stepped back in himself.
Ian Lighter: Okay. ::he followed Alex in, nodded and exchanged greetings with those he knew::
Terri x Kurai: "By we, he means himself." Terri said with a chuckle, giving a wave to Ian. "Thanks for sending the pictures by the way, I found a couple last night that I actually liked."
Wrinkled Black: "Hey, Ian!" Said around a mouthful of cherry that she was plucking from its stem. Found it! She was then pushing off the table to throw her cup away, pausing to lean and give Batman a scritch along his back. Okay, parents weren't supposed to play favorites, but of the studio kitties, she had a soft spot for the tuxedo. On her way back, she was wiping the condensation from her hands onto her thighs. "Yeah, they turned out really well."
Ian Lighter: I’m glad, It was a lot of fun going with a group rather than alone. Hey Adrienne.
Terri x Kurai: She pushed out one of the chairs with her foot for Ian to sit if he wanted. "I can't say I know much about video games..." She knew nothing, really... didn't even own a game console. "But it was still fun to watch everyone else dressed up also."
Ian Lighter: :: he gave her a grin and sat:: You ought to try it, maybe a simple game to start... Like Wii Guitar hero:: he thought ab0out that and had to chuckle:: I bet you'd love it
Wrinkled Black: "I think I've still got my old NES somewhere..." Brow waggle. Never mind the fact that she looked way too young to have had an original Nintendo.
Ian Lighter: ::he did give her an odd look at that:: You have an NES? Wow what a classic!
Alex Vipond: "Well, we're heading out again this weekend. Flying down to Miami, and from there, taking the boat to the Bahamas, if you're game." Yes, he'd said the plane could take eight. After the issues with the bus and overcrowding, he figured it was best to aim low and have room for overage. It was one thing to overload a bus. Overload a plane you could be in deep shit. Or... water. Or Corn if you were over Iowa.
Ian Lighter: ::Same thing with boats::
Alex Vipond: Boats sink in corn?
Ian Lighter: :: he grew more serious:: Only if I can pull my weight. No way I can travel and spend with your crowd...
Alex Vipond: "You ever work security?"
Wrinkled Black: Sure as heck couldn't do much else in it. "That and a Super NES, I think they're in the same box. I should bring them with us." They're bound to have some downtime.
Ian Lighter: Some. Mostly on the farm,
Alex Vipond: "Good. You wouldn't believe the number of chicks I get following me into the men’s room. And there, you're pulling your weight."
Wrinkled Black: Yup, Adrienne just face palmed.
Ian Lighter: ::which with the acreage could be problematic :: Good gawd some places should be sacrosanct
Alex Vipond: "One would think. It's a little disconcerting being asked for an autograph when the Sharpie you have in hand is not meant for writing in anything but snow."
Ian Lighter: I’ve got concealed carry in California, dunno if its valid in Florida. ::had to smirk at that:: I’ve got Red Cross CPR and First Aid
Wrinkled Black: Her eyes rolled, smirking over at Terri. "He's classy, this one." Sass him as she might, Adrienne's smile was warming, remembering the last time they had that conversation.
Alex Vipond: "I don't know, you can check into that. And if needed we can get an expedited Florida CCW." Alex lifted a brow. "Oh hell, definitely hired. How are you on road trips?"
Ian Lighter: :: he grinned:: If you got the tools I can keep the rig running not as good with large diesel as gas vehicles but I can figure my way around.
Alex Vipond: "You do mechanic work too?" Alex looked from Ian to Adrienne to Terri and back. "Where the hell have you been all my life?" Not born, mostly.
Ian Lighter: I’m better with classic car restoration. Yeah my brother owns a shop in Blairsville Ga.. I’ve been helping out there for the last year. That and old tractors... I’m a wiz at fixing old tractors
Alex Vipond: "Cool." Alex nodded. "We're looking to roll out around noonish," which meant anywhere between eleven and one, "on Friday and we'll meet up at Boeing Field."
Ian Lighter: Okay. Where we leaving the vehicles? Oh and just FYI, not that you're likely to run into him but I have an identical twin brother Tavis... just so you are apprised.. Not an evil twin by any stretch of the imagination but we are really identical.
Alex Vipond: "Oh, that could be fun." He chuckled. "I have a sister, Nicole, you met her, we're not twins, obviously, but it would be cool to be able to play pranks..."
Ian Lighter: ::he chuckled:: we still do. Our sibs sometimes get us mixed up, Father every once in a great while. Circe? Never.
Alex Vipond: Alex cracked up. "Well if your brother needs a job, it would be too cool to have identical security guards."
Wrinkled Black: "Makes me think of Terry Benedic's guys in Ocean's Eleven." Grin.
Ian Lighter: I'll keep that in mind if he wants to come.
Terri x Kurai: Terri blinked when noticing Adrienne had been looking at her, those fingers still toying with the necklace, and looking at the three clearly missing something. Ok, so she would try to keep better attention.
Wrinkled Black: She smiled to Terri, upnodding a little toward the necklace. "Is that your new charm?" Vague enough to avoid questioning, but Terri would sure know what she meant.
Terri x Kurai: More like a worry stone than a charm... no, she didn't say it, but she had thought it. Fingers dropped from the necklace, however, and she gave a light nod. "It is..."
Ian Lighter: Alex, what do you want me to call you? Boss, Sir? Mr Vipond? ::seeing as he just became an emplyee and all::
Alex Vipond: "Rock on." Alex flashed rock and roll horns with both hands and then looked over at the girls as they talked jewelry. "That's kick ass." He smiled and looked back at Ian. "So you want the tour?" He gestured toward the front, "Front office, obviously, conference room here," and then he was wandering deeper. "Alex is good. Never was much for Boss and Sir is just too weird."
Terri x Kurai: Well that made her snicker at least. "Sir..."
Ian Lighter: Sure. Oh I brought you something.. :: and proffered the bottle of wine, family label Brookfields Napa Valley. :: gave Terri a grin at her snicker:: Just wanna follow the rules,
Wrinkled Black: She leaned a little to take a better look at it. "It's gorgeous." Adrienne was pretty simple when it came to her jewelry, but that didn't mean she didn't appreciate it. The "sir" had her lips twitching as well. "Chez calls him Boss sometimes, but I think he's too high to realize he's not playing with Springsteen."
Terri x Kurai: What could she say? She liked the shiny stuff like anyone else did... the brow piercings, lip rings, nose ring, etc. ought to of been evidence of that. However, she was awfully picky too about the jewelry. "Someone get the Queen of England on the phone so we can have a knighting ceremony."
Alex Vipond: Chuckling, Alex grinned. "Wow, thanks." Taking the bottle, Alex regarded it, and then looked at Ian. "This is your family label?" Holy shit, he knew that label. "Wow. Fucking awesome, dude."
WillfulJinx: -Angel chose to look around her new city after moving in. Always on the lookout for a new experience, she tok her first steps into the record studio. Her dark brown hair lay over her shoulders and her outfit was composed of a cute teal blouse with matching black slacks and white sneakers. My this place was interesting she thought. On her arm ,various charms lay coiled around, each clasp inter linked to keep from falling off.So many new faces to meet she thought<d>
Ian Lighter: Yeah, family farm, If it’s okay I can use the trip to network for our wines... On my own time, I mean. ::Okay time to work, and he moved to the door to block it, so that the one heard out in the hall, didn’t enter the conference room without permission:: Hi :: To Angel:: Can I help you?
Alex Vipond: Anyway, back to the tour of the recording studio. "Oh hell yeah, network away." Further back was the break room, which consisted of a table, a kitchenette - which really was nothing more than a microwave and a mini fridge, and then there were the ping pong and pool tables. "I had to buy a ping pong table when my former guitarist kept kicking my ass." He chuckled, and was about to lead Ian back when the arrival of the woman curbed that and Ian went to work. "Damn where the hell has he been all my life..." He looked back at Adrienne and Terri. "Seriously."
WillfulJinx: "Forgive me,I'm just looking around.. did I stumble into the wrong place?"
Terri x Kurai: Off to work already? Damn that was fast... Terri bent her fingers back, bones cracking softly from the pressure before opening and closing her fingers and looking to Adrienne and Alex. "Apparently in BFE Georgia somewhere or on his family farm." Terri replied chuckling. Hearing the frisk comment, she blinked and looked over to Ian. "You're worse than TSA, you know that?"
Ian Lighter: ::he grinned to her:: If I can frisk you, I can answer that better.. :: given with a friendly leer:: This is a recording studio, is this where you meant to come?
Wrinkled Black: Hearing Ian, she looked over as well, but then was cracking up. "Oh yeah, he's a keeper."
Ian Lighter: :: to Terri:: hey a job's gotta have some perks
Alex Vipond: Face palming, Alex looked over at Ian, and then back to Adrienne. "Oh I can see it now. Musician sued as fan is frisked by security..."
Terri x Kurai: "Ok, but if you frisk me, I'm warning you that I bite." Yeah, she couldn't resist.
Ian Lighter: ::to Terri:: Promise?
Wrinkled Black: Snickering, she leaned in to Alex. "Should I start calling Naja?"
Terri x Kurai: "Swear it." Wink.
Alex Vipond: Leaning back, Alex nodded. "It might not be a bad idea to have the lawyer on speed dial."
WillfulJinx: "Ummmmmm. Can I kick you in the balls" she retorted with a sweet smile. Tentatively she touched the cross pendant with its glowing cross" I was just looking around is all. Didn't know it was a recording studio.
Ian Lighter: I’m not a big fan of that, actually. Okay... Looking around... Neat pendant. How’s it glowing? LCD?
WillfulJinx: No it's magic... she teased and wonderd if he believed her.
Ian Lighter: :: well no, he didn’t, hasn’t been around long enough to actually see anything that might be unexplainable:: Magic huh. What's your name?
Alex Vipond: Alex looked over at the chick, and shook his head and then looked back at Adrienne and Terri. He'd hate to have to step in, shoo the girl out for being loose lipped and outing those who didn't fit the norm, and then wipe his brand new security dude's memory of the last ten minutes or so. That would suck.
Wrinkled Black: Adrienne was biting her bottom lip as she watched and listened. "Tricky..." Muttered under her breath.
Ian Lighter: ::Yeah it would suck being on the recipient end too::
Terri x Kurai: Terri caught sight of the glowing cross and scoffed quietly before standing up. "What've you got to drink, Alex?"
Alex Vipond: "Glenmorangie, should be some Cuervo 1800 upstairs too." Unless Chez found it, then it was anyone's guess. "Might be some beer, depends on whether or not anyone found it."
WillfulJinx: -Angel bursted out giggling that second. No it's led actually. I make them for people and stuff. She glanced in Alex's drectn, givig the man a smile so sweet ,a dentist would need to come and check for cavities. .. I run coffee shop and make these on the side for fun.
Terri x Kurai: "In otherwords you stopped stashing my brand?" She asked in a mocking sad tone.
Ian Lighter: ::he glanced at Alex, didnt seem like a rabid fan... :: Well Boss?
Alex Vipond: "You left." He shrugged. "Why am I gonna stock something that's not being drank.... drunk.. " he scowled, then shrugged. "Whichever one of those is right, use it." he looked back at Ian, then over at the girl. "And you were looking for?"
WillfulJinx: "Just to drum up business is all. I can bbring anyoe here coffee for half price. But if there is any recording going on. Could I sit in?
Terri x Kurai: "Touche, Sir." Terri replied, sarcastic emphasis on the 'sir' of course. She stood up and lifted her arms above her head for a stretch. She looked at the woman talking about bringing coffee and sitting in on recordings. Ah ha - the life with fans... "Well, guess I'll go hit the pavement to get it." She added, pausing to look at Alex. "We must pay our respect to our elders must we not?" Terri asked, in such an innocent tone that one could just hear the mischief in it - and yes she ducked past Ian and the girl to escape retribution!
Alex Vipond: "I don't see the harm in letting you sit in on a session." Alex smiled, then looked back at Terri. "Don't sir me, damn it."
Wrinkled Black: "I'm pretty sure there's some up there, Terri." She was snickering, shaking her head. "It was stocked before we left for LA." Unless there was someone else around that was drinking it, which...could be problematic? Don't worry,: Terri, Alex was getting Adrienne's elbow in a light nudge. She's so gonna call him Sir, later.
Alex Vipond: Grunting at the elbow, he smirked, and then looked at Terri. "You know where everything is."
WillfulJinx: -She gave a nd"Thanks.. I'll be back tomorrow with your coffee's. I must run.
Terri x Kurai: Hands clasped together and she gave a half-bow of thanks to Adrienne and went to go raid the upstairs - though once the girl left, she poked her head in again to Alex. "You're seriously letting her sit in on a recording? You didn't get the creepy stalker vibe from her? I mean, who offers to bring coffee and yet doesn't ask what you like?"
Ian Lighter: Yeah she was a bit different... Alex, how do you want me to handle fans? Got any kind of protocol?
Terri x Kurai: "Don't let them strip search him." Terri chimed in before walking off to finally get that drink she was told the location of.
Alex Vipond: "No, and yes." he looked to Ian. "No strip searching, no offering of strip searches, no pat downs unless there's reason to suspect the person is armed. You can get your flirt on, all you want, but not while on the job and definitely not with the fans. They'll think they've got an in, and then could go psycho crazy. I had a chick year before last slap me with a paternity suit because she got knocked up back stage after a show, even though I never touched her. Come to find out, one of the event security dudes had."
Ian Lighter: ok got it.
Wrinkled Black: Adrienne couldn't help smiling as she watched Alex. He took his fans' dedication very seriously and it was clear at every show. Kinda made him hotter, not gonna lie. "No matter how tempting they may be." She winked at Alex, remembering fully well that look he gave her all those years ago.
Alex Vipond: "When we're on the road, you gotta be like the guards at Buckingham. Nothing fazes you, nothing distracts you. You gotta watch out for the crazies. This one here seemed mild enough, but God only knows what she's like when you get to know her." Alex looked over at Adrienne and smiled. "Yes. The look but don't touch method." He leaned toward her and dropped a kiss on her lips.
Ian Lighter: alright.
Alex Vipond: "Beyond security duty if you could help out around here, that would be fantastic. Phones and such, arranging for the printing of merch to be sold at shows and the like. I know it's grunt work, but my staff all moved out of state." Well, one had, the other had never shown up.
Wrinkled Black: The kiss was returned with a grin and she took a lean beside him, her arm casually draped along the back of his waist and snagging the belt loop of his jeans. Keeping out of the way, but there.
Alex Vipond: Alex's own arm slipped around Adrienne's waist and he looked from Ian to Adrienne and back. "How's seven fifty a week sound to start?"
Terri x Kurai: "Alright you two, take it upstairs." Terri announced as she came back into the room nursing the bottle she had brought down with her. "Though I will kidnap your new security so he doesn't have to hear anything." Snicker.
Wrinkled Black: "Oh, please, this is nothing." She grinned at Terri, until she noticed the bottle in her hands. Her eyes widened a fraction and she tipped her head discreetly in Ian's direction. Caaareful..
Ian Lighter: Sounds good. Your accountant doing the taxes?
Terri x Kurai: Terri glanced at Ian, then back to Adrienne and gave a shrug. Ye of little faith... she was not as looselipped as most were and the last thing she'd want to admit to is being something of nightmares.
Ian Lighter: Sure who's going to show me the ropes? Anyone
Alex Vipond: "Yes, I have a CPA that does that." he nodded. Thank God. "Well we can finish the tour if you like." He pushed from the conference table, his fingers sliding down to catch Adrienne's as he started for the back.
Wrinkled Black: Aaaactually...She gave his hand a squeeze, but then let go, leaning to give Alex a kiss on the cheek. "I'll catch up." She then flashed a smile before she was wandering off to the restroom.
Terri x Kurai: "Thank the heavens for accountants..." Terri chimed, lifting her bottle in that 'cheers' fashion before taking another drink. Her head rolled a bit to the side to follow Adrienne as brows furrowed... woman would probably come out and hound her if she chose to stay there, so she'd just move to join Alex and Ian for the grand tour.
Alex Vipond: Alex watched Adrienne until she was out of sight, then looked back at Ian. "Okay, back to the tour." Alex would lead them back into the next room where the 'kitchenette' was, along with the small kitchen table, ping pong and pool tables and there was a restroom tucked under the stairs that led upward and through that glass doorway into the next room, was the control room. The whole place was heavily curtained, in a deep rich red, and there was a sofa and a coffee table there, and along the wall facing the studio, with a window to look through above it, was where the computer and other equipment had been set up, where everything was actually recorded and mixed.
Ian Lighter: Cool Ping pong. Who plays?
Alex Vipond: "I do, I actually bought that in self-defense. My former guitar player was kicking my ass and I needed the practice."
Ian Lighter: If you have the time, I wouldn’t mind a game or two
Alex Vipond: "Sure, no problem." Along one wall of the control room were various guitars from Alex's collection. There were more in the studio itself, in stands, ready to be played, and from the control room, Alex led Ian into the studio.
Ian Lighter: trailed after, looking around::
Wrinkled Black: When Adrienne returned from the bathroom, she was pushing her hair out of her face, tucking it behind one ear as she wandered in search of the others. Sadie was scooped up along the way and snuggled, scritching the cat behind the ears as she took up the rear of the small group.
Terri x Kurai: Terri was in the rear also, hand in one pocket while taking a swig from the bottle with her other. Seeing Adrienne catch up, she slowed to fall into step with her.
Alex Vipond: "Over here is the sound booth, where we do voice overdubs, and the rest of this junk is where we do the rest of the tracking."
Wrinkled Black: She smiled to Terri once she was beside her. "So are you staying in town through the weekend?" She hadn't quite heard that part of the conversation when she arrived earlier.
Terri x Kurai: "Might as well..." She replied with a nod, another drink taken. "Old family home is still out here so I'm staying there." There was some irony to that, but she wasn't about to go into details there.
Wrinkled Black: "Oh, nice. Alex and I were just at my family's old home in Virginia. It's handy having a back up at your disposal, you know?" At least she'd found it convenient in between moves and reinventing lives.
Alex Vipond: "Okay, so, tomorrow we can pick up, get all the paperwork taken care of and such." Alex nodded and clapped Ian on the shoulder.
Ian Lighter: Alright, what time you want me here?
Alex Vipond: "Around ten? I'm not much of a morning person."
Terri x Kurai: "That it is." She agreed... finishing off the bottle and pulling her phone out of her back pocket for the time then tucking it away. Hate to do this, but I need to get going."
Ian Lighter: Yeah ten is good, I’m gonna head out as well.
Alex Vipond: “Good night, and see you tomorrow."
Wrinkled Black: While Alex saw the others out, Adrienne went to clean rinse out Terri's bottle. Recycle, she was learning! Once that was done she emerged from the kitchen, once more wiping her hands on her hips because she apparently didn't believe in towels. "So did you get some work done today?"
Alex Vipond: "I did, I got some work on a new track done, was layering in the tracking and the overdubs when people started showing up." In between bouts of googling RSB stuff.
Wrinkled Black: "Good!" Though...she was biting her bottom lip as she glanced toward the computers. "Did you want to stay and work on it some more? I can go take the boys for their walk." She didn't want to get in the way when his creative juices were flowing.
Alex Vipond: "No...." he smiled, his arm slipping around her. "I think we should go upstairs and make use of the apartment." He nodded. "You know, just because."
Wrinkled Black: "Oooh..." She nodded very seriously, her finger tucking into that belt loop of his again as she leaned in closer. "Yeah, it really doesn't get the attention it deserves." Such a shame.
Alex Vipond: "Yeah, it's ... languishing, alone, forgotten, so sad...." He nodded, lips pressed together to keep from cracking up before he swept her up into his arms and carried her for the stairs.. Of course once he got there, he turned and headed for the front door to lock it and yes, once he did that he was setting the alarm, and no, he hadn't let go of Adrienne while doing so.
Wrinkled Black: Snickering, she kept her arms looped loosely around his shoulders--she knew he wasn't going to drop her. "A man of so many talents. It's no wonder super fans follow you into the bathroom."
Alex Vipond: Cracking up, he carried her back toward the back, pausing to shut lights off as they went, and then, he was carrying her up the stairs. "Only those who are really, really determined to get an autograph.”
Wrinkled Black: Her eyes rolled, but she was laughing. "It's probably safe to assume some where wanting a bit more than your autograph, babe. I mean, who could blame them? But Jesus...”
Alex Vipond: "I have no doubt, but one doesn't do the fans, that's just... no." That was how paternity suits cropped up out of nowhere. "Had that been the case...." he regarded her, one brow rising as he carried her toward the bed. They wouldn't be playing Angry Birds tonight. He didn't have his slippers.
Wrinkled Black: A brow went up. "We would've done this years ago?" She then snickered, shaking her head. "Naah, we wouldn't have. I wasn't a fan then." She was also absolutely full of shit, but she had a pretty decent poker face. For now.
Alex Vipond: "Oh?" Dropping onto the bed with her, he grunted as he bounced, arms tightening around her to keep her from bouncing right off. "I think you're lying...." Yep, said it in that sing song, teasing voice most often heard on play grounds.
Wrinkled Black: She laughed for the drop, holding to him tightly. Once they were settled, though, she was all serious again, shaking her head. "Dragged, remember? Like...kicking and screaming. Kendra owed me huge for that."
Alex Vipond: "Uh, yeah, you dug it once you were there." He nodded, and smiled. "I could hear your heart beat, and yes... you were surprised by what I am. But you weren't afraid." He brushed her hair back from her face as he regarded her. "And..." he paused, the grin growing once more. "You looked back."
Wrinkled Black: She gnawed on her bottom lip, trying to keep her grin at bay. "Well...yeah. I mean, I could feel the eyes of some creepy ass vampire on me. Wanted to make sure you weren't breathing down my neck or something." Damn it, he was breaking through. Despite the words and the sass, she couldn't hide her smile.
Alex Vipond: "Uh huh, and that was why you kept the CD..." Alex kissed her neck, "all..." and then that spot just below her ear, ”these..." and then the tip of her nose, "years." Finally he kissed her lips, the smile still firmly in place as he tried not to chuckle.
Wrinkled Black: Her jaw dropped, having every intention of putting on the indignant front, but...well… he was rather distracting. Her eyes closed briefly for the kiss under her ear. "Yeah, but the case is crack--" Kissed! She smirked against his lips, squirming a little under him as if in protest. But yeah, look how hard she's trying to get away. Pft.
Ian Lighter: ::to Terri:: Promise?
Pft.
