Alex Vipond: The weather in Seattle had been uncharacteristically sunny and warm of late. Alex could blame El Nino, since all that warm sea water was further north than usual. It had even wreaked havoc with the inland waterways, causing the salmon spawning upriver to literally die of the heat - boiled, in essence. Alex stood at the rail of the pier, tossing feed out to the seagulls as they swooped and dipped, catching it, midair. One got a bit close as if wanting to take the feed straight from his hand, and Alex regarded the bird over the tops of his sunglasses. "Bite me, bird, and I will bite you back..." he did, however, hold his hand out, the feed - which looked more like Kix, that kid's cereal that wasn't any healthier for the kids than it was likely for the birds, but it was what filled the dispensers about - and waited for the bold fellow to come and get it.
Asher Solaris: Asher had been in town for a day or two at this point. The old wherehouse was well kind of back to not exactly being clean there were reasons for this like a lack of wantting to get out of his bed. It had been over a year since he had been in his bed. Then there were well they were not important eventually they would heal he was pretty sure that the combination of gorilla glue fishing line and duck tape would keep the hole closed. There was still that seeping issue though. In truth he just could not be locked up any longer he had to get out and go somewhere anywhere. Just about anything would be better then staying at home all day again. If Alex was not dead Asher looked like he should be in all honesty that normally rather rough and rugged man looked a bit more pale then usual. Exterme amounts of blood loss usually had that effect. Still that rat rod had pulled into a space at the end of the pier and he would get those feet on the ground. An start heading down the peir. Passing the shops along the way the wonderful scent of food and Alex.(D)
Alex Vipond: Well Alex did smell good: a combination of Armani Code and sex. The sex being his underlying scent, which only got stronger at times.... Moving on! The aforementioned seagull was cautiously swooping in and plucking food from his hand and Alex remained stock still, not moving a muscle, even when the breeze blew his hair into his eyes. The warmth of the day had his Clash t-shirt sticking to his back ever so slightly. Might have made a difference if weren't dressed all in black, but that was pretty much how he rolled, right down to the ankle boots on his feet. It wasn't until an old, familiar scent was caught that Alex turned his head, eyes behind his shades catching sight of a much worse for wear Asher. Interesting.
Asher Solaris: Asher knew well the scent that played across the olfactory gland like a stale cracker it played over did it unease. Not in the least. Course he took the time to ignore it in favor of going up wind where the scent of Oranges, cedar, and baked dirt could find it self back to the man perhaps Asher was playing a game as he turned himself into the small cafe bar at the end of the peir. Not a single look back. Truth be told he was starving and cooking was a little out of the question. Man should have been dead course there were those that thought he likely was and probibly with good reason. Asher never was the pretty boy of any group he had been in. Still he picked his booth where he could see the ocean ebb and flow. An when the waitress came in he simply requested a both for two and cold coors to start the day off. (D)
subway muse: And it seemed the teenage nuisance was about and being her usual in the wrong place sort. The blonde hair was tucked under the baseball cap as the skateboard was the recent mode of transportation. However she had to get to a bank that was at least known to get funds started in the transferring out of New York. The jean shorts were worn with the typical paint smeared tee-shirt. Her hand held the strap of the worn duct taped backpack, as she wove her way along the sidewalk. The cap offered shade for the lavender eyes. The afternoon had been spent with background checks and identification verification. After all she didn't exactly appear to be the heir to what was left behind. -f-
Alex Vipond: Alex watched as Asher headed into the cafe and then he spotted Iris. His face lit up and a hand lifted to wave, but that damned seagull thought he had more food and swooped in. Alex leaned back. "Dude. No more, go home!" There was a reason the fuckers were fed away from the dining establishments: to keep them away from the dining establishments. Otherwise the dirty little bastards would be violating health codes, left and right. Looking back at Iris, he pushed from his lean against the rail and away from the birds that were fortunately now paying attention to some tourists. Now, Alex waved again and this time, he was un-accosted.
Asher Solaris: Asher watched out the window in truth sitting was better then standing and he was not in the house. So the small dinner fill current needs of the man. Soft smile was offered with the waitress brought of that drink god it would be good to have something other then water today always was nice. It was the flavor he liked the flavor of it a single beer for him was a far cry from leaving him in a drunken stupor. The menu was not needed not here, Asher use to come come here all the time gruff and dressed like he belonged in some 50's greaser film today though was not his usual his hair a tuffle of a mess like he simply got out of the danm bed and in the car. That white shirt had Wrinkles. When did his cloths have wrinkles, the danm thing was not even tucked could you imagine the mess he must have looked. Still he ordered. " Double cheese burger with cheddar and Pepper Jack. Side of fries and a strawberry shake to go with another beer. " Why cause the shake just sounded fucking amazing. (D)
subway muse: The eyes caught him, then the attack by the bird as she snickered and rolled closer. She shifted as she stepped off the skateboard and kicked the back of it to bring it upright as her hand caught it. " Hey.. see even the birds are fans. "She pointed out with a grin and shifted her steps a little to look around. " Didn't think to see you here.. " She admitted as she brought her attention back to the Star. -f
Alex Vipond: "Well, I decided to take some time out of the studio. Had to hit Geekwraps and check the bus. It looks fantastic. Did I mention they're interested in hiring you? They do all sorts of things and they like your work. You could do what you love and still remain anonymous."
Asher Solaris: Foood!!!! This was like the king of all things. You know there were times where Asher swore he if could find a queen that would simply just let him be him and give him food chances were good he would stay happy for a long while. then again that was not usually the case in the society he was apart of something about that whole no ligers things. It was a shame too he had seen some pretty foxy Lions out in the world. Well mind came out of the gutter about the time his meal showed up and this had a small smile lifting onto weathered lips, those blue eyes the kind only a born Tiger could have stared down at the meal ahead of him for a moment. Still they would fall away watching the man outside with this new face near him. It was honestly just to be expected perhaps Asher had been gone the better part of the year, an with no word from Charlie or Alex. That was probibly his fault as well never did give the man a chance rasisim and all that stuff. (D)
subway muse: She gave a small nod. " You did.. and I have a meeting set up with them next week. " She explained, " Thanks for talking with them and getting me the chance. I didn't get to say that the other day. " She offered a small grin. " I would like to see the bus when its finished though.. you know see how it turned out? " What kid could boast their artwork was on a tour bus? -f-
Alex Vipond: "We'll roll in with it at the Gator this weekend for the charity show. We're playing Sunday." Alex glanced toward the cafe, his eyes behind the shades giving nothing away, before he looked back at Iris. "You hungry?" He really didn't think Asher was stupid enough to start shit in public and it might just give them a chance to let bygones be.
Asher Solaris: Even if he wanted to well it was not exactly a good time for him to start anything. Truth of the matter was he had seen enough for at least a month or so. Finaly got his hands on that bitch though, not that anyone other then Asher cared much about that. It was just one thing he could check off the to do before I die list. An go firgure it was top of the list. Everone has that list right just his hand a top portion that said do this even if it kills you. Still that was off the track of though for the moment number one was I wonder what color tail that lycan has natrualy thinking about the waitress and then ther was the food infront of him. Which was soon lifted to For the first of many greedy bites (D)
Terri x Kurai: Terri was strolling along in her black sneakers with wide legged black jeans with the usual metal shiny zippers and chains, a dark gray tank top with the jolly roger on the front and ear buds plugged into her phone in her rear pocket though only one ear bud was actually in. She was sorta doing some 'work' as it were just in case she had to come in as that back up drummer. Fingers of her left hand idly tapped out a beat to whatever song was playing. (done)
subway muse: She gave a small nod. " Um sure.. I don't think I ever turn down food. "She laughed quietly. " Had to go by the bank and get things started there. Though swear trying to explain to them who I was. and getting it verified was a bit of a pain in the ass. "She gestured for him to lead the way since he offered. she didn't really know the area. It took her a good hour to find the right bank. -f-
Alex Vipond: "Fortunately, banks use thumb print identification these days as well as signature and photo ID," which was both good and bad for his kind. Alex caught sight of Terri as he turned toward the cafe, and he chuckled. "Speaking of the show..." he lifted a hand and waved at Terri, which he'd follow up with a whistle if that didn't get her attention.
Asher Solaris: Why had he not left the dinner to come talk well simple really there was food, beer and a strawberry shake. Oh and above all else AIR CONDITIONING. Yes even for him it was hot. He did not exactly mind the heat but he liked it with out the melt your face humidity it seemed to have right at the shore. That and he was not sure how long he would exactly stay standing at the moment silver did wonders for wounds. He was going to have to check it again to make sure he had goten all the flakes out he knew it would take time to heal but this was was a little long for it to still be so beat to shit. Asher once done with those fries turned onto the first while watching the gathering out side. (D)
Terri x Kurai: Terri was able to get away with using the banks for awhile... though figured she'd needed to start getting creative in another twenty to thirty years or so. She'd caught sight of the wave, but the whistle was really what made her come to a stop in mid-trek and look over at him with a scowl - joking, naturally. "What do you want?" She asked, as if she really had anything better to be doing right then anyway. (done)
subway muse: She winced a little at the whistle as she rubbed her ear. "ow... "She made a face but that washed off as the woman offered that mock glare. " Um.. I'm gonna go inside and get somethin to eat. "She stated cause well she was doing fairly well with staying out of trouble and she needed to make sure she kept that up. Episodes for her weren't easy to explain. She waved at the woman before heading toward the restraunt -f-
Alex Vipond: Seattle wasn't bad, weather wise, even when it was sunny; 75° and 41% humidity was nice, especially with the breeze coming off the water. The fact that it was sunny was what was so odd. Rainfall this summer had been sparse thus far. Alex chuckled when Terri replied, and smirked as he answered, "Wouldn't you like to know?" He hooked a thumb toward the cafe. "Gonna grab a bite, join us?"
Asher Solaris: The best thing about the pier was they did not have metered parking god he hated metered parking. You park you put in coins you wonder how long it is going to be before you get a ticket cause you know you just don't have the time to do what your really wanted in the first place and because of this you showed up at the car way earlier then what you paid for. Yes metered parking was terrible. An then it was time for another fry and a taste of that shake . (D)
Terri x Kurai: Icy blues shifted to the girl who waved and offered a little finger wave back, then returned to that little scowl when eyes shifted back to Alex. Though listening to his response caused a snicker as she got her phone out and turned the music off then pulled the earbud out, everything being put into pockets somewhere on her person before looking back to him. "No, I wouldn't, actually. You've already conned me into going to these shows of yours as a back up drummer. I'd rather not risk getting talked into dressing up like a mime for your kid's birthday or something else crazy." (done)
subway muse: She figured Alex and Terri could catch up as she all but skipped to the door. Lots of energy.. not her fault.. it was the age! She pulled hte door open and slipped inside. "Hi.. " she offered a brilliant smile before the skateboard was rested against her shoulder" Restroom? "She asked before heading off that way. Well she needed to wash up first -f-
Alex Vipond: "That's Iris..." Alex chuckled as he headed for the cafe, after the girl. "She's the one that designed the graphic for the bus. Kid is talented beyond. The place that did the wrap wants to hire her." Glancing at Terri to see if she was following, he stepped inside, pulling his shades off as he did so, one hand sliding through his hair as he stood in the door way, the other hooking the bow into the neck of his t-shirt. When he was asked how many, he smiled to the host, "Three, and somewhere over here..." He motioned to the direction that Asher was in. Why? One would likely say it was tempting fate, but really Alex was perhaps morbidly curious if the man still had a hard on for him.
Terri x Kurai: Yep, she was following along, hand brushing through her hair. "That's cool." She replied about the bus and kid having the job offer. Once inside, she looked around, a brief touch to the chain necklace around her neck with the black and red cameo pendant of a rose and thorns then dropping to tuck into a pocket. She, of course, wouldn't be eating or drinking anything, but that wasn't unusual. (done)
subway muse: She came back out of the restroom with a small grin on her face as she looked around and threaded a path toward where Alex and Terri were heading. " sorry had to wash up. "She offered that same grin as she waited for them to be seated before dropping into a chair herself. The skateboard was leaned against the edge of her chair. -f-
Terri x Kurai: Now that they were sitting at the table, Terri had a better look at the girl and recognized her from the Gator once or twice. "Hey Iris, I'm Terri." She greeted, not waiting for the intros from Alex since everyone knew that could take a decade. "Alex said you did the design for the bus, looks awesome." (done)
Alex Vipond: "No worries, Iris this is Terri, she's going to be with us on Sunday." He waited until both girls were seated and then sat down himself, a glance over to Asher given and a nod was given in greeting before he looked up at the waitress. "Water and menus please." he smiled. Alex knew what he wanted the fish and chips, but he didn't know what Iris wanted. Terri, would sip water, if that. If anyone asked, he'd just tell them she had an eating disorder.
Terri x Kurai: Eating disorder?! Just tell them she already ate! And no, not even water.
Alex Vipond: That excuse only goes so far.
Terri x Kurai: Then just say she prefers her own food at home?
subway muse: She looked over the menu as she pursed her lips " Cheeseburgers dressed and fries please. " She ordered then canted her head. " Sweet tea please no lemon. " She ordered as she shifted a little in the chair. " Really.. thats cool.. I think it’s great that you all are doing this for charity though I mean not a lot of people wouldn’t take the time for that sort of thing. " -f-
Asher Solaris: Asher did not say much as they came in in truth was probibly best he had not heard about the divorce either not that he was in fair enough condtion to do much about it at the moment. As Per usual however those that could smell it only got the gentle scent of oranges, cedar, and sun scorched dirt, which perfiated the air about the man. Asher kept his kitty on lock down behind those mental shields hinding his scent from the public. Always was slightly reclusive in that matter and ALex knew better then to out him. Or least one would think. Asher was the reason he had to ward his place against violence after all when he found out about Charlie. A moment went by a tilt of his head. a calm quite brooding as the long draw of air pulled across the olfactory gland seperating the scents as if just a breath were taken never even missing a beat as that shake came up and the straw was drawn upon for a touch of strawberry flavored awesome. (D)
Ian Lighter: :: Ian exited the store holding a bag, and looked around. The sunset was spectacular but he didnt see Alex. Wondering where he went, Ian pulled out his phone and sent a text. "Hey ALex, Where'd you go?"
Alex Vipond: "Fish and chips and a Dr. Pepper for me." Alex smiled and offered the menu back to the waitress. He’d not even had to open it. As for Studio 7? It wasn't Alex's place. Never was. It belonged then and still does, to Papa Javier, a New Orleans Houngan, that didn't stand for any foolishness, or outright stupidity in his place of business, any of them, and warded said business from the moment he took possession of it. Neither Alex, nor Asher, had anything to do with that. And really it never was Alex starting shit. Asher always did seem to take exception to the fact that Alex was boning Meghan. In fact it wasn't until Alex had shown an interest in Meghan that Asher had taken exception to him. Funny old world, wasn't it? Alex smiled at the waitress as she went off to fill their order, and then Alex was looking back at the girls as his phone vibrated in his pocket. Leaning back, he pulled it out, checked the screen and then fired back a Cafe next to the store, got Iris and Terri with me.
Ian Lighter: ::A quick glance had him locating the cafe, and he made his way over to enter with an easy stride::
subway muse: " You know they say that Dr. Pepper is carboniated prune juice. "She spoke up about some odd trivia she thought she knew? Or well that she had heard if only to figure out something to talk about. As for the issues the two men had with one another went well over the blonde's head. -f-
Ian Lighter: :: spying ALex and the ladies, he approached their table with an easy grin:: Hey all. Mind if I join you?
Terri x Kurai: "What's carbonated prune juice?" Terri said coming out of her interal thoughts and whatever else ran through that head of hers. A glance was made to Ian when he came to their table. "Go ahead Superman." Joking grin. (done)
Ian Lighter: :: he laighed and setting his bag down, hooked a chair and slid into it.:: Everyone order?
Asher Solaris: There was a growing group he would have been fine with just Alex. In truth alex had been the bottem of the totem pole and well seeing a woman the tiger had known for years would put him near the top of the list. Still he had promised not to hurt him with that underlining clause of if you hurt her there is no go you can pray to that will save your scrawny guitar playing ass. That was pretty much how Asher had left it up till the last few days. Having reilized when he though he might not make it home alright that he needed to make ammends to Riley. Even if it had to go through him. Still as the table filled beside him there was a touch of unrest unease seen the mans shoulders. Asher was completely opposite of Alex when it came to builds Thick and broad and just over five foot eight.. Sometimes the man just forgot how intimidating he could be. Specialy cluching a pink strawberry shake like it was the most awesome thing since apple jacks. (D)
subway muse: "Dr. Pepper.. or well that's what I heard. "She added and shifted a bit. " Hi Ian. "She waved at the man as she shifted a little. -f-
Alex Vipond: "Have a seat, you know both." Alex smiled and he chuckled at Iris's comment. And yes, he'd caught, belatedly her comment about the charity show. He showed her the ink running up the inside of his right forearm, the words Donate Life in black script. "I had someone who was in need of a transplant and found out through knowing her just what a cluster fuck the donation process is. Mostly because people are not aware of it. So I started doing work for the Donate Life organization, doing annual benefit shows. I've been doing so for ... seven... maybe eight years now. I also do charity work for the Michael J Fox Foundation." He looked back at Ian. "Just did, but she didn't get far..." Alex lifted his hand, to call the woman back. She glanced over, caught sight of Ian, and got another glass of water as she headed back, another menu in hand and ready to add to the ticket already in progress.
Ian Lighter: Hi Iris. :: the other patrons in the shop were ignored, he minded his business and expected others to mind theirs.. He nodded to Alex:: Both great charities... :: a smile to the waitress, and as he took the menu, asked what the. specials were.::
Alex Vipond: With his phone still in hand, Alex sent Ian a quiet little text, a heads up that if anything happened between he and the guy at the next table, that Ian was to get the girls and get out. Simple, to the point.
Ian Lighter: :: he felt his phone vibrate and read it, a glance to Alex then typed back:: "A supe in here?"
Terri x Kurai: "I thought it was carbonated Robitussin." Terri replied with a shrug of her shoulders. "Though doesn't matter really does it? Stuff was disgusting the last time I tried it." She added... pausing while Alex spoke about the charities he worked with. "While I can't say I work with the charities personally, I do donate to several." She said, then to Ian. "Dr. Pepper... Iris here says it's like carbonated prune juice." (done)
Ian Lighter: ::A grin to Terri:: What is carbonated Robitussin?
subway muse: She gave a small nod. " I don't really know much about either of them." She admitted. " did stay in a few shelters run by charities. " small blink of her eyes as she began giggling. " no.that would be really nasty. "She wrinkled her nose. -f-
Terri x Kurai: "And prune juice isn't?"
Asher Solaris: Calm and casually aware of the rooms occupancy he finaly set his drink down and looked over the way to Alex. A calm and very casual set of words spoke. " Alex, come sit a moment will you. " The aussies accent clean and clear in the words he spoke to the man as if there was really any need for hostility in a place like this so for Asher had no real reason yet did he. Still The sent of silver was not eaisly missed by immortals and Asher reeked of it and drid blood when one sat closer to the man. He did not expect Alex to actually do as bade however. (D)
subway muse: " I don't know I’ve never had prune juice its what old people drink. "She pointed out then got quiet when the man spoke up as she turned to look at him, the lavender eyes studied him for a long moment before her attention shifted back to the others. -f-
Ian Lighter: :: He looked to Alex to take his cue::
Alex Vipond: Alex checked his screen and looked over at Ian giving a slow nod; slight shrug. Alex didn't know if trouble would start, or not, but he didn't want the others caught in the crossfire if it did. Alex looked at the others and smirked. "Carbonated prune juice or not, I happen to like the stuff. Gotta be over ice though, otherwise it's just too sweet." Alex looked at Ian, and gave a reassuring nod, sort of a got it covered kind of deal, before he looked over at Asher. "It's a little crowded in here. Perhaps any conversing you wish to do would be best held outside?" One hand lifted and gestured to the door of the cafe, though Alex's eyes never left Asher's. He had no idea what the man wanted and he wasn't going to give him the option of starting a melee in close, cramped quarters filled with norms.
Terri x Kurai: Terri could smell the silver and while she wasn't affected by it perse, that her attention was forcibly drawn to it by the voice made her nose twitch a bit. She liked her metals as much as the next person, but sometimes too much was too much. Though the dried blood wasn't expected... though did make her shift a bit in her seat, focusing on the conversation about the Dr Pepper at hand. "I drank it by accident once, disgusting stuff... prune juice." (done)
Asher Solaris: This probibly was a wise decision to hold conversations away from well anything that could take flight or by standards lately he had not been so well involved with humanity so to speak. There safty was not really a consern of his as of recent that was just all fact of the matter. The places Asher had seen over the last few months would make even some vamps question there existance in all honesty. Specially when to a dive down the rabbit hole seeking out the harliquin that had murdered his family. Still he paid his bill and lifted himself slowly from the table. Slightly pale for a were, still those steps were solid as ever they had been. As he moved for the door. Ears scanning the room for side conversation her should be privy to. A habit in truth much like memorizing the scent of everyone at that table Alex was seated among. Still as he passed it he would: leave that trail of Oranges, ceader, and baked dirt beind for them to enjoy least those that could pick up on the delicate arangement of mans second scents. (D)
subway muse: She chuckled though it was a strained sort of laugh as she watched the two men rise up and start toward the door. " Why does this remind me of one of those old black and white cowboy movies? "She asked quiet to Ian and Terri. Well
subway muse: the tension was fairly thick even for one that was more or less normal. -f-
Alex Vipond: Once Asher was up and moving, Alex looked to the others with a smile. "Going to talk to an old acquaintance and have a smoke. I'll be back shortly." Rising, he followed Asher out and then headed back to the rail where he'd fed the seagulls earlier, shaking out a Camel and pausing in step to cup his hands around it to light up as he did so. Once he reached the rail, he dropped the pack and lighter back into his pocket. "You're not looking so well, Asher." Alex slipped his shades from the neck of his t-shirt and slid them back onto his face. "It's been a while."
Ian Lighter: ::he looked to Terri and Iris:: You think I should invest in silver bullets for my firearm?
Terri x Kurai: "Because it's likely to become one." Terri muttered under her breath to answer Iris' question. Fingers idly tapped on the table, likely giving the impression of someone semi-jonsing for something. She glanced toward the entrance when Alex and the other man left before distracted by Ian's question. "Um... no, that can make a situation worse than better." Terri replied, arms folding under the table. (done)
Ian Lighter: Alright. What kind a supe is he? Can you tell?
Asher Solaris: He would make it to the rail pulling out that marb along the way reds all cowboy satus and all. More a rockabily thing all the old movies they Smoked marbs or luckys and he did not like the flaver of luckies. Still he got to the rail where he took a lean. It was true He did not look so well but he was living. An that was kind of important maybe. he could make up a mistake perhaps that one argument with Charlie an all he really did leave on bad terms there course he was pretty pissed. He had his reasons Alex likely knew of them by now certian Charlie had told him. Still a moment or two pasted letting them both light up. " I will be fine. " Typical answer from the man hell he could have lost a limb and things would have been just fine normaly its when he was saying they were fine that everything was all fucked up beyond repair. " A while. Does that exist with you, though time simply was kind of like a jet stream. " There he went already off to a bad start. He really was not trying to be an ass he just could not help it sometimes. " You seen Riely? Got to talk to her. Need to fix shit I fucked up. " (D)
Terri x Kurai: "No... I can't." She replied, probably coming off as sounding a little helpless too. "Not a wolf though, that much I can tell." (done)
subway muse: She absently chewed on the side of her mouth. The question about silver bullets made her lift her brows but. nope.. she figured to stay quiet at the moment. Thankfully the waitress brought food.. so.. yeah she was going to focus on food , though was listening to the two talk. Happily putting the burger together and cutting it in half because well not so messy. -f-
Ian Lighter: :: He placed an oder of an open faced turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, sounded good..::
subway muse: " Would it matter what he is? " She asked the two before taking abit and looking like a chipmunk. -f-
Alex Vipond: The Just a scratch way of dealing with the loss of a limb. Alex ignored the time comment, and looked back at Asher when he asked about Meghan. "Not since..." Alex had to think on it. "March... Late March, maybe." He'd already stated the why, so there wasn't anything more to say on that part of it. "That why you're back in Seattle? To make amends?"
Ian Lighter: SHoot, Terri, how many kinds of shifters are there? :: To Iris:: Im new enough at this stuff.. that I dont know. So any information is better than none.
Terri x Kurai: "Um..." Terri tore her eyes away from the entrance and fell on Iris briefly then to Ian when he spoke to her. So, naturally, Terri would just assume she knew about the creatures that went bump during the night... and day sometimes... too. "Several I'd imagine. Just like there's more than just one kind of vampire, there's more than one kind of shifter." (done)
Asher Solaris: Asher had to think a minute on that rubbing his abdoment a touch to whisk away into that shirt of his the crimson that seeped and left a unfaborable feeling on his skin never was fond of that feeling. Still he looked at Alex all the while his feline blues hard to miss, A trait really of being born to what he was there preditory gaze fell upon Alex like a hammer for a moment then softened a touch. " No but it needs done. Should not have left it at what I did it not right" He said grudgingly. " It was her decision to make. Not mine to judge. " Took some balls for the tiger to admit that one specialy seeing about how they saw territory still he had a second part of that question to answer. " An don't you remember I live here. " He said with a wicked grin the kind that could have left most people uneasy to say the least. "Well then I suppose since your not um together any more I should not have to say that if I find out ya hurt her. " He said with a smile just a reminder really he was completely casusal almost even friendly about it. " So no then how are things with my favorite Seattle tour giude." Naturaly speaking of Alex who may have just been signed up with out knowlege to a bit of fun. (D)
subway muse: Yeah she was learning when Alex started talking about lycans and things like that when she told him what had happened. She lifted her brows and gave a small nod. Sure this wasn't at all weirding her out. Then again what she had
left behind.. who knew? She didn't offer anything but took another bite out of the burger because well.. better be thought a fool then open one's mouth and prove it. -f-
Ian Lighter: ::He glanced outside, to take a look at Alex's stance about the same time his turkey open-face was set at the table. To the girls:: Alex told me to get you both home safely if shit happens, so we go out the back door nice and quietly in that case.
Alex Vipond: Taking another drag from his smoke as he waited for Asher to respond, he looked out over the water, watched the light reflect off the surface, the boats as they moved in and out of the channel, and breathed in the salt sea air. Alex looked back at the man, "You should see a doctor." The blood was just oozing from him. When Asher got cocky, even if it was friendly, Alex's brow lifted. "You're not one to talk. You hurt her on a level I'd never seen before." Alex inhaled, that sweet, coppery scent hanging in the air between them. He brought his hand up, brushed at the corner of his mouth, raking his thumb as he did so and then he reached for Asher's side; that wound, pressing his thumb in against it. Was he gentle? Not so much, but the pressure was needed and the blood seeped into epidermal, fat and muscle tissues. The effect was almost immediate. The wound began to mend, and Alex released his grip as soon as it did. "You know the town. Find your way to where you need to be."
Asher Solaris: Asher hardly moved when the thumb was placed though the touch of a growl curled at the lips for a moment. He knew Alex was right on this one Asher had a temper an that temper could be frightening specialy in the state he had been. "That was before...." He thought for a moment. " The Harliquins death. " Yes Asher had tore that head clean off still in the back seat of the car. Odd feeling for the wound to suddenly heal it self in all reallity. " You don't understand it is not where. I am looking for Sebastain. " He said after a moments time. Drag on his Cig taken in as he leaned against the post letting his shields down just about anyone that was sensitive could feel the feral push of the alpha but it was a lapse and those inside were not gifted with the kiss of scent for the tiger and were left unawares as to the breed of the man. " The prick knew all along who had done this to my family, why he tried to keep me here." Those eyes pent yes the cat was on the hunt so to speak. " You know you are right about my transgressions still I am no angel. (D)
Terri x Kurai: "Us both home?" Terri repeated, leaning back in her chair, folded arms lifting from her lap to rest on her stomach. And yes, for a moment, she looked like she was about to argue about that... but last minute thought better of it - plus what Ian said. "You can't, but I can... well, could... though it would do more harm than good..." (done)
Ian Lighter: ::A nod:: Yes. I am not a match against a supe. No way I can help him except by doing as he asked so he doesnt have to worry that we are all safe.
subway muse: Iris lifted her brows and continued to chew as she looked back toward the window. Curious? Um yeah.. whomever it was or whatever he was.. obviously made Alex look for precautions. Who wouldn't be curious about that? She picked up fries and gave a small nod. " It's ok Ian.. things should be ok.. right? I mean they are talking they seem to be ok with one another. " She pointed out. After all they weren't ripping each other's throats out. She picked up the tea and took a sip. " Anyone know of a cheap house forsale? I can't keep living off Callie's generosity. " -f-
Alex Vipond: "Sebastian's been in and out of the city. As far as I know, currently, he's out. I haven't seen him since April. And that's a tail you don't want to grasp and hold onto. There are things that have transpired, that you are completely unaware of and are not mine to tell. Suffice to say, if Sebastian kept you in the dark on something, he had good reason to do so, and found it in your best interest to keep his own counsel on the matter." The fact that Sebastian himself had nearly been killed by the pricks had Alex wondering if it wasn't something to do with Asher's situation.
Ian Lighter: :: he looked to Iris:: Im sure there are any number of cottages.. but really arent you safer near Callie? Callies other occupation is why I think Alex asked you to stay there, just start paying your own rent, Unless the skamp is too small for you.
Asher Solaris: Asher thought for a time holding on to that place the wound was sealing at. Calm collected he lifted still tired from the whole of this ordeal. It had been a trip to hell and back almost litteraly for he knew on this Alex was likely not pulling his chain he had no reason to but the limited information was also protecting himself. " Then lets do this, I was told I would never kill a Harliqin either yet I have the head of one in the car. " He said after a moment Asher always was stubborn as a mule. In a hour I want you to come to the track. We will race bring your friends it will be fun." He said with a smile. " I win you bring me up to speed, I lose you get to walk away and I have to figure it all out on my own. " Asher thought this a fair bargin and was Alex not a betting Vamp? " In addition should I loose I will show your curious couple in there what I am. " Asher knew that the best way to perhaps get what he wanted to have the community know what he was it would drive them at him like a herd surely news of a Tiger such as him would be carried like fire. When was the last time one had been seen? Born to the beast it was. Not bitten? (D)
Terri x Kurai: Terri wouldn't touch on that subject, she didn't know much about Callie or the Gator in general. So her gaze instead would wander back to the entrance. She wasn't curious about the man with Alex, she was irritated... the scent of dried blood was what had started it. (done)
subway muse: " I know Ian and I'm really grateful but.. I.. can't paint there. " She admitted quietly. " I mean I'll pay the back rent I owe her for living there, but she has been super awesome and all that I.. I gotta have room to paint..besides sometimes it gets messy and I'd really rather not ruin the skamp by getting paint on things. "She pointed out to him. She was very grateful people wanted to look out for her.. more than.. just no breathing room. -f-
Alex Vipond: "Dude!" Alex's expression was one of distaste. "Call a fucking cleaner and get rid of it, before you get pulled over for a fucking busted tail light or something equally stupid and end up on death row and trying to decide between lethal injection or hanging..." When Asher continued, Alex shook his head, a low laugh given. "Dude, seriously, your account is over drawn. Stop writing checks, while you still can." Alex rolled his cherry out and let it fall toward the water, then dropped the butt into the nearest trash can. "Do yourself a favor, and smarten up, before you end up a cream sauce on the road somewhere." Alex shook his head. "You want to measure dicks..." Alex shrugged and stepped back, hands out to the sides in that, sorry, expression. "I don't need to." Turning, he headed for the door. His fish and chips were likely cold by now. Cold cod. Fuck.
Asher Solaris: There was a wash of calm on his features when Alex responded. " Shame, you think those checks are pulled on withdrawn accounts. " Asher said. In truth it was Asher saying you know I will get what I want. He really should have been less of a ass in that exchange still Asher really was not very good at being friendly it was a trait he always had issues with perhaps it was just a certian kind of Racism. Well still he stood up and walked back down the Pier there were to many people here to make a scene an what choice did he have but let him walk off at the moment. Still he was greatful for the assist. Asher had to wonder if Alex knew it was just his nature to be the way he was up bringing and all. Still the man was right about needing to get rid of that head in the back seat some might not take it the way the cat did it was a prize of his accomplisment. (D)
Alex Vipond: Alex knew being an ass was pretty much a choice. The gang banger could blame their childhood for their shortcomings and numerous stints in jail, or they could shape up, get an education and a job and do right by society. It was the same concept. One could be an ass, or one could do some good by his or her fellow man. Animal. Whatever. Resuming his seat, he smiled to the others. "Sorry. Old acquaintance. All that." He started in on his fish, then lifted a hand for the waitress. "Can I get some ranch?"
Ian Lighter: Alex, why not get it reheated? It's probably cold,, ew and at least order somefresh fries..
Alex Vipond: "Good idea." He smiled at the waitress. "Can you get me another order, sorry, my fault, and naturally I'll pay for it, but I would appreciate a fresh plate, thanks." He smiled to her. Poor thing. He looked at Ian. "Remind me double her tip."
Ian Lighter: "double her tip"
Alex Vipond: "Gee, thanks for reminding me." Alex smirked.
subway muse: " Everything alright? I mean you two looked like a mexican pissin contest out there. " She pointed out quietly as she shifted a bit in the chair. -f-
Terri x Kurai: Her gaze lingered on the door a moment even after Alex made his way inside, then gaze turned back to the other three. As the old acquainance was brushed aside, she started to speak, but instead Iris beat her to the punch. "Yeah, what she said... more or less." (done)
Alex Vipond: "Old, and bad blood. He was my ex's bff, and he was interested in more than being just friends. And then I came along..." Alex shrugged. "Shit went downhill from there."
Ian Lighter: He smelled like blood, seriously. was it his or someone elses?
Terri x Kurai: "You smelled that too?" Terri asked, looking over at Ian.
Ian Lighter: ::a nod:: Yeah.
Alex Vipond: "His." Alex took care of some of that, at least. One less hole for Asher to be leaking from. "It was free flowing by the time we got to the rail. He got tangled up with some bad folks."
subway muse: She wrinkled her nose at them " So.. jiltted lover.. I can see why there might be some tension. -f-
Alex Vipond: "Oh, they weren't lovers..." Alex paused. "Well there was the one night she gave him a blow job, but she did say she was pretty drunk at the time."
Terri x Kurai: "Oh I don't think she meant they were lovers... just that he was upset that she chose you over him." Terri looked over at Ian with a brow raised. "Your senses are pretty strong." (done)
Ian Lighter: :: made like he was going to cover Iris' ears:: Alex! Minor here!
subway muse: She blinked and shook her head. " TMI.. ex or not.. " She pointed out. The look that was given to Ian was just one of those.. seriously? -f-
Ian Lighter: :: just.. grinned at Iris:: Oh hey Alex, that house you are fixing up near the Gator?
Alex Vipond: "There's nothing to fix, the girls are just getting it ready to open up. The guy I bought it from, Callie's ex, the two of them were going ot open a bed and breakfast there. Ty, bought Callie out, which helped her to buy the Gator, and now Callie and the girls are going to open it up."
Ian Lighter: Is it small or large enough to make several apartments?
Alex Vipond: Alex shook his head. "It's big enough to make apartments out of, but it would be of more value as a bed and breakfast. And then there's the guest house too. That's I think like a three or four bedroom house."
Ian Lighter: Okay Iris is interested in renting or buying a small house of her own...
subway muse: She shifted a little for all that. " I got the inheritence coming here.. so.. figured it was best to pay what I owe you all.. and.. I need room to paint. "she shifted a little again.. damnit Ian .. put her right on the spot! -f-
Alex Vipond: "Talk to Callie about the guest house. It' not exactly small, but it's small enough maybe. If not, Callie has larger trailers out back to rent. Some Airstreams and some of those gooseneck trailers... fifth wheels...." he nodded.
Terri x Kurai: Well she wasn't speaking up, was she? "You know, back when I was your age, I still lived with..." Pause. "Well, either way, I didn't really move out on my own til I was about nineteen or so." She gave a shake of her head. "People kicking their kids out too early is what started this crap, y'know?" Just an opinion voiced in general, not to Iris or anyone in specific. (done)
Alex Vipond: "Things are different now than they were when I was a teenager." Alex paused as the waitress brought him his fresh plate as well as the ranch. The cold stuff he'd take home to Gus and Sherman, because leaving it here, it would just go in the trash. Once the waitress was gone, he tore into his fish, and let it go pretty fast, blowing on it a bit, before picking it up again. "My cousin, when he was your age, Iris? Was in battle at Crecy."
subway muse: She understood what Terri was saying as she gave a small nod to her. " I get it.. jus.. I'm nineteen.. only reason I can access the funds.. but I have a realtor selling my parents house .. I do'nt want to go back there. " She admitted quietly before looking at Alex blankly. "How is that possible when the battle of Crecy took place in the 1300's? " She countered before.. yup.. teenager just went very pale. -f-
Alex Vipond: "Actually, he was younger, just barely turned sixteen. And in command of ten thousand men. facing odds of three to one, ..." shit. "My cousin... Very, very distant.... Was Edward of Woodstock. It's amazing the things you find on Ancestry dot com."
Terri x Kurai: Blink. "Oh, so you are nineteen! For some reason I thought you were younger, sorry about that." Terri could only guess at ages by appearance. Seeing her go pale, she hesitated a moment, looking between Alex and Ian and... "Er... awkward..." (done)
Alex Vipond: Alex smiled and yes, kicked Terri lightly under the table.
Terri x Kurai: "Oh come off it!" Terri would send a light kick back at him, glaring a little. "Technically, she heard enough as it is between Ian and I talking about you and Mr. Bad Blood out there." She stood up - not entirely leaving because of being irritated, but also because mun's gotta go. "I need to go anyway... which charity event is the formal one again?" Just checking while cooling her temper down. (done)
Ian Lighter: Thet grew up faster back then.. married at thirteen and all
subway muse: She blinked slowly and gave a small nod." Yeah... I gues so. "She spoke quietly and glanced at Terri, " She's right.. just guess didn't expect it. "she spoke up and wow.. had to more or less put her brains back together again. However with Terri's irration, it did make Iris a bit nervous as the very edges of the young woman's person.. fade just a little as if blurred some. Was there any such thing as normal? Probably not. -f-
Alex Vipond: "Sorry..." Alex looked from Iris to Terri. "The one in September I think. Callie would know for certain."
Terri x Kurai: "Alright, September..." She nodded, reaching for the one armed hug to Alex then looking apologetically to Iris. "I'm sorry kiddo." She said then a one armed hug to Ian too. "See you around too." (done)
