Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
And there would be Ki, sitting on his motorcycle, outside her school.. JUUUSST waiting.. had on his bomber jacket, jeans, t-shirt, with a hoodie on under the jacket. Helmet hooked on one of the handle bars as he waited.
Sarah E TayIor:
The bell rang and eventually the kids starting spilling out from the school. It would be about another ten to fifteen before Sarah came running out the doors herself, glancing over her shoulder out of habit, then looking forward again. Admittedly, she had actually been about to keep running, but saw Ki just in time to skid to a stop and head over to him. "Lets go, lets go..." She said in a rush, already climbing onto the back of his bike and glancing toward the school again.
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
"What no, hi Ki, how was your day? My day was okay Aqua girl, how was yours? Did you have a nice school day? " He slowly dug her helmet out of one of the side saddles, and held it out to her. " Don't forget this. Are you cold? would you like my jacket to wear?"
Sarah E TayIor:
"I was going to save all that when we got away from here since I know you said you wanted to talk to the jocks and take it from me, they are not in a talking mood." She replied, taking the helmet from him and glancing back to the school again as she pulled it on. "They are being held back by their coach though so I thought getting a head start would be a good idea?" She added, then looking to his jacket she shook her head. "No, thank you though, I'm good."
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
"Well I would still like to have a word with them. " He glanced back at the school, then at her. " And as agitated as they are making you, I would really like to have that word now.. "
Sarah E TayIor:
"I think their coach is doing that for you." Sarah replied. "I just don't want to be around when they get done." She straddled the end of his motorcycle though, feet flat on the ground since she wasn't going to try changing anyone's mind - that attempt was made last night and she saw how fruitless it was then.
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
He glanced back at her. " I can end this here and now you know?... no more having to dart from one place to another or looking over your shoulder? "
Sarah E TayIor:
"What are you going to do?" She asked, frowning... "I don't want to sit on the sidelines and watch a fight break out, Ki."
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
"I'm not going to fight with them? You think I would do that with the whole football team? One of their parents would have me thrown in Jail. No I just want to talk to them. " He still looked at her, but then let out a breath. " But.. I said a week didn't I?" He grunted and pulled on his helmet. " You are lucky you are so beautiful. " He started up his motorcycle, glanced back, then pulled out into the traffic, heading to her house.
Sarah E TayIor:
Sarah started to say something, but he pulled his helmet on and so she changed her mind and leaned forward, arms going around him instead. Hearing his words, however, made her smile before she planted a kiss to his back - whether he could feel it through his jacket or not - and gave a light squeeze.
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
And then they were not going to her home. Ki made a left and was heading down town. It was just a little bit, but they pulled into a parking area in front of a store shop called Magus books. Used books bought and sold. He killed the bike, and put down the kick stand as he looked back at her. " Want to go and take a wiff of old books. " He grinned at her and hung his helmet on the bikes handlebar.

Sarah E TayIor:
Sarah blinked at the change of direction and when they stopped, she looked up at the bookstore then back to Ki. "Sure, though if we find a book that has paper thin crinkly pages, we're in trouble." She replied with a grin, pulling her helmet off. "For some reason the sound puts me in a trance." She climbed off his bike and tucked her helmet away. "By the way..." Sarah started, looking at him. "Hi and how was your day, Ki?" Smirk.
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
He grinned at her. " My day has been okay Sarah, and how is yours?" He stepped over and opened the door for her. " So if I ever have to put you to sleep, just find some crinkly pages?"
Sarah E TayIor:
"Same ol' same ol'..." She replied, following him to the door and walking in when he opened it. "No, not to sleep. But if I have to wait for a ridiculously long period of time... just an idea." Out of habit, she'd walk to the counter and leave her backpack there - since most businesses weren't too crazy about kids bringing them indoors and for good reason. Returning to Ki, Sarah looked around at the shelves of books. "Where to start?"
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
" I'm hitting up the how to section, need a book I can have on me on small engine repair. Just in case.. " He looked around then saw the self help sign. " You go find something.. girly. " He grinned at her and then headed off to the self help section.
Sarah E TayIor:
"That's dangerous, Ki." She said ominously, grinning. "Last time I was left on my own in a bookstore, I walked out with a tower of books." However, as he headed off to the self help section, she just went cruising the shelves. Sarah could get lost in a bookstore and not even care.
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
He turned around. " Just remember, my bike only can carry so much! " He smiled and stepped into an isle... then went sneaking back over to be just on the other side of a book shelf from her. He was quiet, dangerously quiet, even on the stores wooden floors. He had snagged a book on his way there.. and waited till she had passed. Then it was a matter of clearing out two books so he could pull the one from the other side over quietly, and replace it with his book.. didn't know what section she was in but soon as she was walking away again. he slid Romeo and Juliet in, and gave it a little shove so that it toppled to the floor on her side. He quickly put back the book he removed from his side.. crouched, and duck walked back to his isle!
Sarah E TayIor:
Oddly enough it was the autobiography section. She jumped when the book fell behind her, turning and looking around behind her. She peered around the shelves first then figured maybe the book had been just barely balancing there and she didn't notice. Bending, she picked up the book - one last look around given - before glancing at the title. "Now that's ironic..." Sarah muttered to herself with a chuckle, looking at the shelf it'd fallen from then back to the book again. She opened the book and slowly flipped through the pages, then closed it again before reopening from the start and reading through the first page; taking a lean against the shelf.
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
Ki suddenly came around the corner with two hard back books on small engine repair, and one soft cover on how to get a bank loan. " Okay found mine, should I just find a bench somewhere and wait you out? There is a coffee shop just two doors down that has really good cinnabons I can go kick back there . " He grinned, then.. oh so casually looked at the book. " Reading up on me are you?" A glance back to her.
Sarah E TayIor:
"I am not reading up on you..." She replied with a grin, not even taking her eyes off the pages til last minute and even then it was slow. "Someone tossed this up on the shelf there and it fell." Sarah said closing it. "Though since you brought it up, cinnabons sound delicious." She closed the book... though not without scanning for a price tag. She had some small change on her, so if it wasn't too much...
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
" Must be the ghost.. picks out what is on your mind. " He said simply then just turned and headed to the front register.. Yep, threw that out there and turned his back on her!
Sarah E TayIor:
Blink. "Ghost?" She repeated, looking down at the book a moment as though debating on putting it back up now or not. At the last minute, she quickly walked after him, the book still in hand. "What ghost?"
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
"All these books are used. " He smiled at the older lady working the register and gave her a wink. " And a lot of them were very loved when their owner passed, and then they made their way here. " He glanced back at her. " Sometimes we can't let go of the things we love. "
Sarah E TayIor:
It was a good thing he winked at the woman because Sarah even looked at her for some sign that he was yanking her chain, but didn't see even so much of a twitch of her lips. "Ok... I buy that... but you specifically said ghost that knows what was on my mind, like it was something that's happened before."
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
He glanced back at her and smiled. " Well don't you know whats on peoples minds? Every once in a while. " He kissed the tip of her nose, even paid for her book, and then out he went grinning like a fool!
Sarah E TayIor:
Sarah smiled softly, watching him leave, then put the book on the counter to pay then was told he already had. She picked up her backpack and slung it over her shoulders before heading outside. "You know I don't, Ki." She said in answer to his question, sticking her tongue out at him. She tucked the book into her backpack then reached for his arm to stop him long enough so she could give him a kiss to the cheek. "Thank you, for the book."
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
"Hey I drug you to that haunted place might as well pay. Though you may be taking the haunted book home with you.. if it just.. jumped out at you.. " He smiled.. " Cinnabon?" He motioned to the little coffee shop.
Sarah E TayIor:
"Would you rather I left it with you?" She asked, raising a brow and linking her arm with his... though then another thought came to mind and she eyed him suspiciously. "You made the book fall didn't you?" Don't ask how she came to that conclusion... it wasn't really holding up inside her head either, but the question was already out there. She gave a nod to the offer of a cinnabon from the coffee shop though.
Wile E Ki Yo Tea:
"Me! Why would I do anything like that ? I .. me.. noooo. " He shook his head but he was still grinning. The door to the coffee shop had one of those tinkly bells on it, and a waitress came right over to show the two, to a table, even though the place was pretty much empty. The menu was on the table, but Ki just wanted a chocolate latte, with whip cream, and two cinnabons. He would wait for Sarah to look over the limited menu though.
Sarah E TayIor:
She took off her backpack to sit down, still eyeing him because his response was suspicious also. "Right. Don't forget, I can sometimes tell what people are thinking..." She said, scowling at him playfully before picking up the menu and looking it over. She put in for a hot chocolate and one cinnabon - two she would regret later.
