Quotes: "In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out."
"Parting is such sweet sorrow, dearest. Still, you can't say we didn't show you a good time. Enjoy yourself out there... in the asylum. Just don't forget -- if it ever gets too tough... there's always a place for you here."
"Oh, yes! Fill the churches with dirty thoughts! Introduce honesty to the White House! Write letters in dead languages to people you've never met! Paint filthy words on the foreheads of children! Burn your credit cards and wear high heels! Asylum doors stand open! Fill the suburbs with murder and rape! Divine madness! Let there be ecstasy, ecstasy in the streets! Laugh and the world laughs with you!"
"I hate men. Because of what they do. They clip. They prune. They make us remake ourselves into what they want. A Madonna. A whore. A partner. A foe. And we do it. Because we need."
"Thoughtless. Worthless. Stupid. Man."
"And he didn't die all at once. It was hours before the screaming stopped. I almost didn't get to sleep that night. That was the last time I'd used crushed glass..."

Phoenix Saga: Today was the grand opening of the perfume and herb shop, the Mint & Mystery. Sign have already been place at the Seattle mall for the secondary location to open up there soon. Her shop was located not too far from the restaurants or even bar and club establishments. She figured after people had a full stomach or some drink to loosen them up, they were in a much better mood to deal with typically and at tends, like to shop more. She wanted the location to be relatively easy access for the average person to find and drive too. No sense Having it too far off the beaten path in the middle of no where. As with real Estate, location, location, location. The place would not be hard to find for the mundane masses going on in their robotic, daily routines in life. The lovely Amarantha sisters were already inside, getting things up and running. Azura the head owner of the shop was busy dealing with inventory, making sure the building was up to code and other various boring tedious work. This left the ever so lovely seductress twin sister of hers, Amara to deal directly with the customers, since she was far more sociable then she was. Azura was not the social butterfly her sister was and for good reason. The shop had a lovely mint smell to it and soft violin music was playing throughout the place. Tranquil music for a serene atmosphere. -fin-
Alex Vipond: Alex was wandering the area. It was break time, self proclaimed, since he was the boss and he'd decided to check out the shops in the area to see if anything jumped out at him for Meghan. He was still in the grubby jeans... Grubby? They looked like they'd been washed in battery acid. Holes seemed somewhat rampant, and his t-shirt was no better, the logo so faded one could barely see that there had even at one time been one. The bandana was still covering his head and it was a good thing because his clothes were splattered with today's color of paint, a soft beige, that would eventually be textured in with a wadded up rag in a darker shade. Those size twelve, beat up sneakers were also color spotted. Amazingly enough, his skin seemed clear of all spots. Wrap around shades kept the sun from his eyes and allowed him to check things out without making it obvious. Until he stopped before the little shop of soaps and turned toward the display window. Then he stared like a zombie seeing brains, as his own churned over the possibilities held within. His lips twitched upward and he moved to the door, pulling it open and stepping inside.
Placenia Hosea: What to do? What to do? He was driving down the interstate like a bat out of hell. Hosea stepped on the gas pedals wondering where one of his had gone. Shit, shit. Had to make sure she didn't go tearing someone's throats. The music loud, reverberating through the speakers of his sports utility vehicle. This was major disaster. How could it slip through his mind how Mecca would...gritting his teeth all he could do is make sure the girl was safe. If word got out, not sure how the city would feel cool if a giant beast got loose. Waking up next to a woman you drained of some of her life force, what can he say to that? An incubus whose sex drive was higher on a scale of more than ten. Skidding in the parking lot of Mint and Mystery, just hoping to get answers. A photo was taken from the wallet. Someone had to have seen Tank Girl-looking chick about six ft for a girl. Made Croft some innocent chick who didn't go shooting on a normal day. The Spaniard exited his Lamborigini, his other main one still at Mars' Garage waiting for a call. Taking the car keys, pocketing them in one of his dark blue trousers. His hair was a fine, dark chestnut, making it seem almost black. His flawless mask held dark brown hues, like the oaks of a branch as for his skin a sienna brown shade that spoke of the foreign within. No American blood in him, still he found them quite amusing and entertaining. Hosea was a man who studied behind his desk with a book in hand, he wasn't meant for physical means where his passions exceeds to an advantage where the need was for too page. His white dress shirt was half opened at the top, showing off a chiseled chest where the rest was buttoned down; a red sweater was pulled over with a collar over his throat. Around it was an ancient necklace depicted of an aztec markings on the front. How he was to able come during daylight is something about him that was mysterious.(d)
KrystalFlake: Krystal had headed back to the work zone to drop off some more goods, but she didn't spy Alex when she came back in. One of the guys said he'd headed out the door not that long ago so he shouldn't be too far. That alone made her grin, yeah not too far. How fast was he? Well, they didn't know that so she headed back out the door with her stilettos clicking on the sidewalk. She hadn't changed because she'd barely gotten even dusty while she was putting up cameras and sensors earlier. Taking a left and a right glance down along the sidewalk she turned in the direction she saw zombie man drooling.. okay maybe not drooling, but she'd seen that look earlier. No reason to shout his name to get his attention she just walked on and eventually pulled the door open to the shop he'd disappeared in to. Sunglasses flipped up onto the top of her head when she got inside. A black tank with a faded out concernt shirt that had the neck cut out caused it to fall off one shoulder, a knot on one side near her hip and those blue skiny jeans holding it all together over those stilettos.[d]
Alex Vipond: As Krystal followed him in, he smirked, shades pulled from his face, the bow slid into the neck of his t-shirt as he turned. "Stalker, fan girl. Don't tell me you're gonna follow me into the men's room next." Yes, he'd actually had a fan follow him into the men's room. Good thing he didn't actually have to take a leak or his bladder would have burst before he got free of her. He smirked as he regarded her, amusement clear in green eyes.
Phoenix Saga: She was wearing a simple pair of cut off blue jean shorts with black sandals and a short black top that left her toned belly exposed. With the tattoo of a vine along her navel with black, red, and purple flower petals clearly visible along those tan toned abs of hers. Her entire form look like a model from Victoria's Secret, subtle Greek features laid within. She was lovely alright and very pleasant, which made the black widow aspect of her all the more deadly. Still despite her less the savory actions, she was very sweet and kind to customers and various people she passed on the street. One had to keep up appearances in these days with cell phone cameras and the world wide web. When the chimes tingled indicating the door to the shop open and people walked within. She let out a freindly hello in a welcome greeting. "Hello there, please venture around and let me know if you need help with anything or have any questions. " She was very polite and her voice reflected her earnest tone of being friendly. She closed her eyes and smiled, brushing back her long raven tresses from her face that fell just past her shoulders. She was rather glad to have potential customers within the shop already. -fin-
KrystalFlake: She walked over and swung an arm around his shoulder. Throwing out her best fan girl giddy voice that she could. "Oh Alex please please can I get an autograph? Across my tits?" She rolled her eyes at him. "Or I could follow you in the bathroom, you know whatever makes you feel like it would make me a proper fan girl stalker. I'm really not up on my fan girl uh... I don't know vernacular, etiquette whatever you want to call any of it." She slid her arm off and waved her hand to the side to dismiss the whole silly situation. "Not that you aren't pretty enough, but you are quite commited much to my disappointment." She sighed a little dramatically with the back of her hand going to her forehead. Nodding to the shop keeper just to acknowledge that she heard her spoke she turned those blue eyes back on Alex. "Gift inspired?" [d]
Alex Vipond: "You're doing good, just more hyperventilating and ripping of clothes." He nodded, then smiled to the shop owner. "Thanks!" He looked back at Krystal. "I am thinking so. Looks like a damned fine place to find a gift for Meghan. My one fan that I will bang hell out of." He grinned at her.
Placenia Hosea: Huh? How nauseating? Really now? He looked at this coming from Krystal who was all over him like that. He chuckled walking up to them. "Fan girl scene take one." Yeah. Him and jokes a roma didn't always mix. A squirrel handshake to Alex was given. "What's the word Alex? Krystal? You two behaving yourselves I hope." A slight tease, in a joking manner. Not everyone took that too well. If not, that's their problem not his. Learn to deal with life the way it was written. As for the beautiful lady behind the counter he'll have to meet her. She was divine where he hinted there was more from this angle, being a Belle Morte allowed him to not go so tangled up in one's appearances. He was resistant to most charms, he looked towards more than looks that made everything about that individual. (d)
Alex Vipond: Alex chuckled at Hosea, and added a dap to the shake, before he flashed rock and roll horns at him with both hands. "Rock on." A nod was given. "How's it hanging?" Alex smirked at the question of behaving. "I'm always being have. You should know that." He was already reaching for that pack of gum, old piece swapped out for a new one before he offered it around to the others. "Gum?" Man loved his DoubleMint.
KrystalFlake: "Damnit, I am really going to have to work on that." She pursed her lips and snapped her fingers. Yeah she really was so disappointed in the fact that she didn't get it write. "I never behave myself. I just pretend that I do for the sake of the general public." She batted her lashes and walked over to a shelf and picked up a bar of soap to smell it. The call for gum had her turning her head around and reaching for a piece. Foling it on her tongue after unwrapping and then wandering the shop. [d]
Phoenix Saga: She was content where she was. Leaning on the counter next to the register, tapping her well manicured hands on a magazine she was reading, An article about plants and artificial pheromones held her interests while she knew her twin was busy dealing with the mundane mortals and their building inspections, licenses, blah was all she ever heard from it. Honestly, these creatures had far too many rules and regulations in their life that only gotten worse through the progression of time. She made sure to be alert in case one of the individuals that ventured inside had need of her. -fin-
Placenia Hosea: A vampire chewing gum? Still, he was getting use to this one where Alex definitely was very unique indeed. He'd look at some of their types hunting for blood, so he waved hands leaving DoubleMint to Alex. "I am not interested, besides, he missed chewing period of solid cuisine between his teeth. It was dearly gone quite sadly. As for browsing the wares rather than chit chatting, best to be shopping as it was good for any establishment to set examples for other customers coming past that same door. Crack of the lips when Krystal batted her eyelashes. Isn't she that damn cute? He couldn't help, but to look at her the minute she left. "Yeah, yeah. I know you do." Smiles at Alex returning his gaze to him. "I must talk to you though, someone has gone missing Alex." His smile immediately turned to a more flat outline showing a serious look in his eyes.(d)
Alex Vipond: Alex shrugged, putting the pack away and wandered the shelves as well, smelling this, picking up that, checking texture, and admiring the overall look of certain things. "It's good for your teeth." Well, maybe if it was sugar free it would be, but he didn't like the it. It didn't smell right. "I'm trying to find something for Meghan. You know? Let her know I appreciate all the bullshit she puts up with, what with dragging her all over the place, and keeping her cooped up in a tour bus with a bunch of flatulent roadies." And then he went still as Hosea spoke of someone going missing. "Oh?" When he responded he set the bar of soap he'd been admiring down and moved closer, voice lowering into that frequency level that was below human hearing. "Who, when, from where and how long ago?"
Phoenix Saga: She continued to listen to the music playing in the shop. She had thought about trying to eavesdrop on the conversation coming from the party of three but what was the point? She could care less about the lives of others who were complete strangers to her. In fact, the only ones she did seem to care about were those she and her sister were thinking about ''replacing'' with one of their own. Assume their role and life to better help their collective people. It was too much work to think about now and she let all the heavy lifting go to her sister to deal with. She would set the article she was reading about plant pheromones aside and take out a FHM to look at. She only cared about the pictures of the models and not the articles. Always nice to have a new gallery of faces to choose from. She smiled and pointed to one lovely brunette and said to herself, inside her head. "Your face and body are now mine." -fin-
KrystalFlake: Krystal had managed to find some lotion that had a soft lavander scent to it. It matched how she already smelled so that was a bonus. Walking back over to Alex and Hosea she didn't catch what they were talking about before hand. [d]
Alex Vipond: Alex never really thought about it, but his scent probably would drive a succubus batshit, since he smelled like sex.
KrystalFlake: Well, you don't think she hung around him for his personality do you? I mean honestly it's not like they had real conversations.
Placenia Hosea: Soap, he smelt this one and then he handed to Alex giving him ideas for Meghan. Putting up with some was part of the excitement of being with them. True love. His parents had that, he seen it in their eyes. Such relationships lasts for a lifetime like theirs. He was happy for Alex more than he recognized. It was a blessing seeing two people fall for one another. Opinions of a second rather than alone was good at most times. They say, two heads is better than one. "How about this? Smells divine." They had to be shopping so while doing that, he wasn't sure how he can say a shifter on the loose. He didn't want to have to go apeshit when she returned home, he does discipline if he has to. "Do you remember what we spoke about? You in Sao Paulo for instance." Alex mentioned some incidents there, this helped him emphasize it. (d)
Phoenix Saga: She casually took a strand of her hair and began twirling it around her fingers as she continued to flip through the pages, looking at the various women the males have voted to be the sexist in a numbered pattern. -fin-
Alex Vipond: Hey, he was very personable! Just ask anyone! He smelled the offered soap; then lifted a brow at the mention of Sau Paulo. Yes, he remembered well. "Rogue?" He'd hate to have to rip out another heart, but if it was necessary.... "Are you sure?"
KrystalFlake: Krystal would have said something like someone like Mars or one of his people at the garage. Honestly she used Mars as an example because that meant she didn't have to remember more names of people she'd barely met. And Mars was a potential client. And they were talking in code so she was going to go look at a few nearby bottles. If she had known Meghan she would be a lot more help, but honestly it was hard to pick out things for people you didn't know. [d]
Placenia Hosea: Nods. Hosea was nothing if sure about anything like this. "Mecca. She's one of mine." Gritted teeth. A werejaguar who could change without notice, those creatures are massive and tough. Most shifters are incredibly strong, jaguars, their rare in the kitty listings. He thought if felt energy in the area that has not much to do with the shifter, but how she may have left without a word nor message --nada! Strange, then Dakota had mentioned how Mecca was quickly disoriented. "She's not rogue. Member of the clan in Sao Paulo. The Quazaltal." A clan of werejaguars, their leader left few of his own in Hosea's hands. Oh shit, didn't like how he should be responsible for them. Azmul was not happy about this, not one bit. Having phoned him right before he left his mansion. "And, it's ocean scent." About the offered soap, it's bluish color had the shade of ocean.(d)
Alex Vipond: Anything earthy, really. Think leather, sandalwood, vanilla. Nothing overly floral. Oooh, Green Tea! That smelled good and not too sweet. "Can you not call her?" Ah. The Sao Paulo bunch. "So it was one of their numbers that ..." Well yeah. They probably didn't have a fondness for him. If they knew. And really the only way they would is if they'd tracked him and really, the route he'd taken after ripping the bastard's beating heart from his chest, they couldn't have. Nor would they have known where he went with the body. And the body burned up a good ten miles or so off shore. As did the ... borrowed boat. Hopefully it was insured.
KrystalFlake: Vanilla was always tasty. Smelled like someone baking something. Krystal was a fan of the butter cream icing scent at Yankee Candle. There was a small basket selection that was put together in what appeared to be little sampler bottles. Putting down the lotion in her hand she picked up each of the bottles in time to see what they were. Vanilla and honey, not bad... There was a cucumber melon in there, well that was a fresh sort of scent together. Maybe a sampler was the way to go for a gift. Oh look there was another one with oils in it. "Alex there are a couple of smapler type baskets, one with lotions.. one with massage or bath oils it looks like." Was she hearing the conversation? She was partly listening. Just enough to ask about it later, but not enough to jump in on the conversation now. [d]
Phoenix Saga: She stopped what she was doing when she heard her sister call out for her and saw their pretty assistant Amelia arrive to take over for her. She smiled and let it be known Amelia was taking over before she went to go join her twin. -fin-
Alex Vipond: "Oh, that sounds good." he nodded to Krystal. "Excellent idea. One of those would be perfect." What ever they discussed, he and Krystal could discuss later. It could well be a security issue for him and they would have to prepare for that possibility.
Placenia Hosea: He wasn't certain what Meghan liked, that was Alex job to find what she would like most. He knew her better than he, so thought what if he got a present for the ladies at home? Not a bad decision. Picking up a candle smelling of a spring scent, then took three bars of soap all having that smell of falling autumn rain. These will do. Looking down at one of the shelves he noticed there was one that interested him. That one will certainly be swell for his bed room. It was an oriental scent, his favorite. Taking it, he returned just to answer Alex. "I felt energy, one of our own. Whomever it is doesn't want to know what he's up to. May have something to do with Mecca's mentality. He or she could probably do tons of damage, be careful will you Alex? And, I tried ringing her three times. Got a busy signal. She'd picked up at the mentioning of my name." Shakes his head, he knew the woman like the back of his hand. Looking to Krystal, then Alex. A vampire who probably had no master controlling always a problem. Could they do something like put a false signal in the minds of others? Hosea's IQ was very high, only someone who could scramble brains is usually the undead form. He or she might strike again, Mecca was perhaps the first or may not have been.(d)
Alex Vipond: "Always. You forget, Alea is my maker, and she's psychotic. And... she is in town." Enough said there. "In fact she has settled in quite nicely. Looks to be here for the 'long haul' as it were." he nodded. "I pretty much am always on my toes, since the woman did in fact want me dead. She seems to have reversed that decision." Seems to, being the operative word. Or words.
KrystalFlake: Krystal managed to take the stuff up to the counter while Alex was having his conversation. She grabbed the stuff for Meghan too while she was at it. She'd bill him for it. The girl behind the counter wrapped up everything nicely in gift bags for him and she handed it over as she was heading toward the door. "I think I'm going to head home. You are welcome to stop by. Address is on one of the bills I gave you. Good seeing you Hosea." With her bag in her hands and his handed off to him she headed out and down to her Jeep to go home and relax. [d]
Alex Vipond: "I must be going as well, Meghan is waiting for me." he smiled to Krystal. "Thank you." Looking back at Hosea, he nodded. "Call if anything changes. I'll keep my eyes open." He then followed Krystal out the door, heading back down the block to his car.

Dominique: The shop was being attended to by the lovely Amelia who unbeknownst to the public eye, was actually a witch in disguise. Well, the owners knew which was a reason she was hired to place an enchantment on the shop to protect it. It was also one of the reasons that drew Dominique to be here. It did not take much to hear rumor of a witch near by and for her to discover who it was. She was a fellow practitioner of magic after all. Though she was not the typical human witch for she was a demon which made her far more dangerous without the pesky limitations of a human body holding her back. She was currently browsing through the scented candle section. Trying to find something with a winter flavor before checking out a new age shop for more special candles to use. Soft classical music was playing and Amelia was going over inventory. All in all, peaceful with the smell of jasmines in the air. -fin-
Nadya: Nadya was out of candles so she checked the yellow pages for the right sort of shop, acquired directions, and drove her purple Chevy truck through town to the address. The multicolored wooden caravan built into the bed of the truck tended to attract a few odd looks but she didn't care. Since she was running errands rather than trying to pick up spare cash, she wore a thick, hand-knitted purple sweater with comfortable jeans and a pair of calf-high supple brown leather boots. A flat leather pouch strung on her belt rested against one hip. Climbing out of her tuck, she tucked her keys into the pouch and headed inside the store. Her long, dark hair was a tumble of curls around her shoulders, held back from her face by a crimson bandana folded into a headband. She glanced around the shop, then headed directly for the candles. -d-
Dominique: She was wearing a pair of ice blue leggings tucked into shin high ice blue boots with a midnight blue long sleeved shirt covered by her navy blue jacket. She was wearing something that looked like a bizarre cross between a purse, fanny pack, and satchel, that was a black and red color slung over her right shoulder. Her long golden blond hair was left free to cascade down her neck and past her shoulders to mid shoulder blades of her back. There were long ice blue strands of hair among the golden locks and by her overall look. One could guess she had a thing for winter or things of ice and snow nature theme. She was not paying attention to the coming and goings of the shop as she was looking for something that held a scent of winter. -fin-
Nadya: Long, dangling earrings of old copper coins hanging from chains tangled in her curls each time she turned her head as she examined the candle selection. A matching necklace hung around her neck, the coins all etched with various tiny symbols. She glanced around and smiled at the store clerk, asking with a hint of a Russian accent, "Do you have pure beeswax, hand-dipped candles?" She didn't care if they were scented or not, really, as long as they were all natural and handmade. -d-
Dominique: Amelia blinked a moment as she looked at her inventory sheet and then replied in her Romanian accent. "Yes, we have some in the far back there by the honey scented wax candles. They are not really scented since they were done for a more natural homemade feel to them. I hope that is alright." She said while glancing down at her inventory sheet once more. -fin-
Nadya: "Unscented is best, actually." Not knowing these people, she would be cautious. "Some scents give me headaches." Not to mention that unscented candles were best for spells. She strolled over to find the right spot and smiled as she sorted the all natural candles by color. She needed some blue, some green, a couple of red, a lot of white, and some yellow. That should do her for a while. She reached into her pouch and pulled out a folded cloth shopping bag which she filled with her selections before moving on to see what else they had in stock here. The herb area got special scrutiny as she looked for things to fill holes in her store of harvested and preserved plants. -d-
Dominique: When she heard the comment on certain scents giving the woman headaches. She turned her gaze over to her. Usually it was sound that gave most people headaches beside allergies but she supposed certain scents could as well. She was in close proximity to the woman as she watched her gather all the unscented candles and put them in that cloth shopping bag of hers. That was a bit suspicious in her mind as she did not see one scented candle took. She decided to speak out about that. Her thick French accent came forth as she spoke. "A bit unusual there mademoiselle. Most come to this type of place
to by scented items. If you wanted unscented candles why did you not go to a different store? A bit strange no?" -fin-
Nadya: To the properly educated eye, some of the coins on her necklace and earrings would be shown as the talismans and amulets they were by the markings on them. When the woman questioned her about her candle choices, she turned to look at her. "Because I also wanted soap, possibly some herbs, and some shampoo. They have all of that here. I'm new in town and still settling in. I don't have time to roam all over to a bunch of different shops." She selected shampoo and soap that were all natural and made with real lavender, adding them to her bag. Then she added jars of three different herbs, all of which were useful in minor healing charms. -d-
Dominique: "A fellow new comer to town. I was new here, well still feel new in some aspects. I barely arrived a month ago here and been too busy to even find my way around. I cannot argue with your choice there. This place does have the basic essentials we ladies like does it not. Welcome to Seattle, what brings you out to this cold, damp, place?" -fin-
Nadya: "I'm a gypsy. I travel where the mood takes me." Or where her teacher told her to go, of course, but she wasn't saying that to someone she just met. She smiled, her dark brown eyes warm. "I'm Nadya." It was a nickname, of course, but she saved her full name for more formal occasions. The woman wasn't unfriendly but that was no reason to tell her life story. -d-
Dominique: A smile formed on her lips when she heard the woman mention she was a gypsy. "A real gypsy? From Romania by chance? It has been some time since I crossed paths with your people. Fascinating bunch they are. I am Dominique. I like it here because it is cold and rainy and seldom any sun or heat which I loathe. Though I am sadden by the lack of winter snow here. At least from what I am use to. Nice to meet you Nadya." -fin-
Nadya: "My ancestors are mostly Russian, not Romanian. The weather is the weather. It comes and it goes. Aside from not being fond of deserts, I really don't mind what the weather is so long as I am prepared for it. It is nice to meet you, as well, Dominique." She took her bag over to the counter and unloaded it so the clerk could tally up her purchases. There were two dozen candles, all told, with the shampoo, soap, and the three jars of herbs. -d-
Dominique: She was not sure what to say next as Nadya went to the counter to pay for her items. Amelia walked over and began to ring up all of the items. Once the purchases was tallied, she gave Nadya her total. "Would you like cash or credit paper or plastic?" -fin-
Nadya: "Oh it can all go right back into my shopping bag, here." She upended it to prove it was empty before she put all her purchases back into it. Then she pulled a roll of bills out of her purse and counted out the money onto the counter, rounding up to the nearest dollar since she didn't carry a lot of change around because it was heavy. She smiled at Dominique while she waited for her change. "Now I just need to find a good organic grocery store." -d-
Dominique: She finally founded something close to that winter smell she was going for and made her way to the counter as well. She pulled out a card from her bizarre contraption she wore and handed it to Nadya. "Here take my card. I know how.. disorientating it can be in a new place. If you need help finding something or information, just give me a ring. I specialize in information and public relations campaign, so I know people and places. There is a good organic produce store five blocks from here called The Big Green , can't miss it. -fin-
Nadya: Accepting the card, she slid it into her purse with her change. "Thanks. I'll look into the store. Have a good evening." Pulling out her keys, she scooped up her shopping bag and headed out to her truck. Unlocking the caravan door, she climbed inside to put her purchases away. Once that was done, she'd drive down the street to the grocery store to check it out. -d-
