An music industry veteran for the past 20 years, Jake Collingwood has worked for a slew of record labels and has independently managed over 60 bands in his career. After managing many platinum and multi-platinum level bands in the 90’s and in the 00’s, Jake understands the needs of the bands in a time where the music industry has, let’s be honest, taken a shit and died.
The days of those packed arena shows and millions of dollars flowing for new bands is just about done, so helping bands create a good, profitable career for themselves in clubs, theaters and so on.
After being in Los Angeles for all of those 20 years, he recently moved to Seattle to work with a metal band called Eleventh Hour, but realized that many other bands and artists were interested in his services.
Here’s the current roster of his bands:
Eleventh Hour- long time metal band that bridges the gap between doom metal & thrash metal. On a new label and going to be doing their most extensive touring in a decade set for 2013.
Alex Vipond- the longtime singer/songwriter is coming back after an almost 5 year break. Has a new album and touring schedule planned for 2013.
Berlin Zeilgeist- an industrial metal band that is a throwback to the days of Nitzer Ebb, Skinny Puppy and peak-era Ministry. Destined to “wipe out all Affliction tshirt wearing, Monster Energy drinking, social media promoting losers off the planet”.
Apocalypse of the Freewheel: Imagine if Black Label Society had a baby with Dimmu Borgir and the live show was one that nearly ended in arrest after every show? Ladies, may want to stay away from these guys if you don’t want to dance in a cage or end up in a tour bus.
