I know we've all had suggestions for rp, how we can change and make it better. One thing a few people have noticed lately needs to be brought up. This is a group SL, hopefully meaning groups of people can play together in the rooms. Of course people play one on one, that goes without saying, some scenes can't or shouldn't be played in public rooms or there might not be a big group available to play. But some people insist on going into rooms and thinking that all of the attention should be on them, and when it isn't they either go into rambling posts that are half in thought and people are supposed to fawn all over them or the person will get up and leave the room. Half the time they don't even post out, they just leave. Or there are some people who just want to play with certain people and if others come into the room, they completely ignore them even if the person talks directly to them. I admit, I like to play one on one scenes and I love the public rooms too, and I learned the hard way that wanting all of the attention doesn't work. I just think if you want to ignore other players completely, or you are an attention whore, you probably shouldn't be in a group sl. I think the purpose is to find out about a lot of characters, not just focus on one. And on a side note, if you want to play with people, then make an effort. Interact with them, try and get play going or start your own room. If you don't want to put forth an effort or you want to go to other members and complain that no one wants to play with you, then you have to deal with the consequences. Sorry for the rant, but I do like it here and I hate to see stuff like this happen to ruin play.
